How to remove values data points from Apex3 Flash Chart

Hi
I am using a Apex 3.2 and I have to put Flash Charts in my application. But since the charts have are smaller in size, I do not want to have the data points coming up in the chart. I have planned to show them using hints. But unfortunately, I am not able to hide the Data Points. Can you please help. Thanks Sahcin. Here is my custom XML.

Well going in point by point and deleting is certainly one way of going about it. Of course that would defeat the entire purpose of having this great programming enviroment that is capable of doing that kind of thing for us.
Is your text file small enough to upload? Obviously you know what the criteria are for judging whether or not a data point is acceptable so it should be simple enough to program. Give us a bit more information and I can assure you there will be a race between LabVIEW experts to see who can post the cleanest, simplest, and fastest piece of code that will do what you need. My wager is on altenbach, but there are a few others here that are almost as impressive.

  • Does anyone know how to remove the date stamp from photos?

    I don't remember how I added the date ON the photos to begin with, and now I don't know how to remove them!

    Try the Retouch tool in iPhoto. Otherwise you would need to use a 3rd party image editor, like Photoshop Elements that has a clone or healing tool to remove the date from the image.
    This is what PSE can do but it might be a bit overkill for just doing dates.

    I need to create a Scatter Chart, with a text label for each data point instead of the xy coordinates. A legend will no longer be necessary.Also, I want to draw "cross-hair" lines on both the x and y axes centered on one particular data point.Any ideas?

    Hi
    I have the same problem here, did you find any solutions.
    Here we are ok if the dimension is displayed in the scatter instead of the measurements but the only options i founds was "Show data" and that option displays the values of the xy.
    pls let me know if anybody found any solution for this problem

  • How to remove the date extensions from a filename in SSIS Flat File Connection Manager dynamically at run time

    Hello,
    I have to load data from a csv file to SQL Database. The file is placed into a directory by another program but the file name being same, has different extensions based on time of the day that it is placed in the directory. Since I know the file name
    ahead of time, so, I want to strip off the date/time extension from the file name so that I can load the file using Flat File Connection Manager. I am trying to use 'variable' and 'expression editor' so that I can specify the file name dynamically. But I
    don't know how to write it correctly. I have a variable 'FileLocation' that holds the folder location where the file will be placed. The file for example:  MyFileName201410231230  (MyFileName always the same, but the date/time will be different)
    Thanks,
    jkrish

    I don't want to use ForEach Loop because the files are placed by a FTP process 3 times a day at a specific time, for ex. at 10 AM, 12 PM and 3 PM. These times are pretty much fixed. The file name is same but the extension will have this day time stamp. I
    have to load each file only once for a particular reason, meaning I don't want to load the ones I already loaded. I am planning on setting up the SSIS process to load at 10:05, 12:05 and 3:05 daily. The files will be piling up in the folder. As it comes,
    I load them. At some point in time, I can remove the old ones so that they won't take up space in the server.  In fact, I don't have to keep the old ones at all since they are saved in a different folder anyways. I can ask the FTP process to
    remove the previous one when the new one arrives. So, at any point in time, there will be one file, but that file will have different extensions every time.
    I am thinking of removing the extensions before I load every time. If the file name is 'MyFileNamexxxxxxx.csv', then I want to change it to 'MyFileName.csv' and load it.
    Thanks,
    jkrish
    You WILL need to use it eventually because you need to iterate over each file.
    Renaming is unnecessary as one way or another you will need to put a processed file away.
    And having the file with the original extension intact will also help you troubleshoot.

  • How to remove blank data from a byte array

    Hi All,
    How to remove blank data from a byte array. Suppose I created a byte array as byte[] b = new byte[8192] and i read the data as inputstream.read(b). If the data that has been received is only 1000 bytes length, how to find out how much data has been read or how to delete that blank 7192 bytes of data?
    Thanking you,
    Regards,
    Shankar.

    1) Always try to sidestep this by allocating only the necessary amount of space required...
    2) If 1 is not possible, you will have to index byte for byte how much data was read into the array which
    denotes reading byte for byte... not ideal as this is relatively slow...
    Are you reading from a file?

  • Stacked 100% bar chart - Problem with datatips for zero value data points

    I have a stacked 100% bar chart that shows datatips in Flex 4.   However, I don't want it to show datatips for
    data points with zero values.   Flex 4 shows the datatip for a zero value data point on the left side of a bar if the data point is not the first in the series.
    Here's the code that illustrates this problem.    Of particular concern is the July bar.    Because of the zero value data point problem, it's not possible to see the datatip for "aaa".
    Any ideas on how we can hide/remove the datatips for zero value data points ?        Thanks.

  • How to find the data loaded from r/3 to bw

    hi
    how to find the data loaded from r/3 to bw is correct . i am not able to find which feild in the query is connected to which feild in the r/3 . where i am geting the data from r/3 . is there any process to find which feild  and table the data is comming from . plz help
    thanks in advance to u all

    Hi Veda ... the mapping between R/3 fields and BW InfoObjects should take place in Transfer Rules. Other transformation could take place in Update Rule.
    So you could proceed this way: look at InfoProvider Data Model and see if the Query does perform any calculation (even with Virtual keyfigures / chars). Than go back to Update Rules and search for other calculation / transformation. At least there are Tranfer Rule and eventually DataSource / Extraction Enhancements.
    As you can easily get there are many points where you have to look for ... it's a quite complex work but very usefull.
    Once you will have identified all mappings / transfromation see if BW data matchs R/3 (considering calculations ...)
    Good job

  • How to get values/data stored in the database into a list-item.

    how to get values/data stored in the database into a list-item.
    i tried to make a list item without any values assigned to it...but i got the below error.
    FRM-30191: No list items defined for required poplist.
    or
    FRM-32082: Invalid value for given item type.
    List EMPNO
    Item: EMPNO
    Block: EMP
    Form: MODULE5
    FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output.
    then according to some docs, i tried the the following for the trigger
    when-new-form-instance
    declare
         rg_name varchar2(40) := 'emp_rec';
         status number;
         groupid recordgroup;
         it_id item;
    begin
         it_id := Find_Item('empno');
         groupid := create_group_from_query(rg_name, 'select empno from emp');
         status := populate_group(groupid);
         populate_list(it_id, groupid);
    end;
    but yet didnt work... :(
    so how the heck do i get values fetched from the database table into the list item?

    for list items you need to values in the record group, one is the shown value and one is the returned value.
    Check out the online help for the populate_list built-in.
    You'll need something like select ename,ename from emp as the record group query.

  • How to passing value into Captivate from html?

    How to passing value into Captivate from html?
    Or
    How to communicate between objects in one slides?

    Hi czhao0378 and welcome to the forums!
    Captivate does not natively allow you to communicate your own
    data, either internally or externally. The only way to make this
    happen is to create your own functionality, either via custom-built
    Flash objects or JavaScript code executed in the browser or a
    combination of both.
    The only example I've seen of any "data passing" inside
    Captivate is a custom text input/output solution that was posted on
    the Captivate Developer Exchange:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail&loc=en_us&extid=1253 021
    This solution consists of an input box that takes information
    from the user on one slide and a second box that displays that
    information on another slide. The functionality was built in Flash
    and is embedded in Captivate as a Flash "animation". Unfortunately,
    since this is a custom functionality, the information is not
    included in the user completion results Captivate can pass to a
    Learning Management System.
    Since the solution mentioned above relies on a Flash
    Actionscript variable to hold the information that is displayed,
    you can also pass the information from HTML to Captivate using the
    "SetVariable" command in JavaScript. This would at least allow you
    to display your own HTML-based data inside Captivate.
    Beyond that, I'm not aware of any other way to gather and
    pass data in Captivate.

  • Extract data point from dynamic data based on time index

    My goal here is to find out what the frequency of pulses from object B is given an input to object A, and not only that, but what the frequency is at a particular moment in time.
    While in this example, the DAQ Assistant reads the data and will show it nicely on a time-indexed graph, the convoluted mess above is the only solution I have thus come up with to extract a specific item from that set of data. I was/am hoping there is a more elegant solution. However, I can confirm via other sources that the data from the DAQ Assistant is incorrect, possibly/probably because the DAQ units being used are on different chassis, using different counters (I've got to work with what I've got available) and won't cooperate in the same while loop.
    In this example, the data being read is correct, I cannot display the result on a graph (nothing shows up, but the autoscale of the Y axis seems to work), and the VI occasionally (but not always) ends on an Error -200474: Timeout (with the signal no longer being sent to object A, I don't expect any pulses from object B). I would like to have both the graph and the value (data point) at time index, like I was getting in example one, but the correct data, as I was getting in example two.
    Code for both examples is attached.
    Attachments:
    sample.vi ‏105 KB
    sample2.vi ‏106 KB

    In this example, the data being read is correct, I cannot display the result on a graph (nothing shows up, but the autoscale of the Y axis seems to work)
    Check out the acquisition mode of DAQ assistant,  Its configured to 1sample (on demand) which means that graph is plotting only 1 sample (only 1 data point) which you are unable to see.  Modify the settings to acquire greater samples so that a plot can be seen on the graph or use chart to plot the points which has history with it.
    The terminology "object A and B" that is used is not clear and what it is pointing to (while loop or the images itself).
    The second figure there is a data dependancy between 2nd while and 1st while loop.  Try using standard LabVIEW Design patterns
