How to remove XML namespace in SOAP request

Hello
I would like to change one of our existing interfaces to use a SOAP communication channel rather than File. The file currently contains FIDCCP02 Idocs.
I have created a new communication channel using SOAP 7.1 and generated a Java client. When I send a request to the endpoint from Java, PI returns a SOAP fault.
Error
The error in the monitor is 'No standard agreement found for ..'. I think this is because the file contains XML with a root element with no namespace, but the root element in the SOAP message does have a namespace.
Example requests
File message :
<FIDCCP02 xmlns:ns2="http://dorsetcc.gov.uk/FIN_I26/Invoice/PremierFin" xmlns:S="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
SOAP message :
<ns2:FIDCCP02 xmlns:ns2="http://dorsetcc.gov.uk/FIN_I26/Invoice/PremierFin" xmlns:S="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
When I send a test request from RWB with no namespace it is successful.
Attempt to remove namespace
I have tried adding AF_Modules/XMLAnonymizerBean with no parameters as the first module on the SOAP communication channel, but this does not appear to make any difference. I have refreshed the cache.

Steve

Hello Iñaki
Thanks for your reply.
I had read the blog about the XMLAnonymizerBean. It looks very straightforward, and in theory should do just what I need.
I've added the anonymizer bean as the first module as the SOAP message is asynchronous, and I want to remove the namespaces from the request.
I want to exclude all namespaces so I haven't set any parameters.
The SOAP channel in Communication Channel monitor has a status of 'Channel Started but inactive'. I cannot see any messages in the Processing Details for this channel, even though I have sent test messages from Java code and from RWB (the message from RWB without the namespace does reach the receiver). This makes me wonder if I have not configured the interface to use the new SOAP channel correctly, although I can see it in the Receiver Determination configuration overview.
I can see the messages in SXMB_MONI but can't find which communication channel is being used by the sender.
I'm using PI 7.1.

Steve

  • Remove xml namespace in the SOAP channel

    Hi gurus,
    Maybe my question is simple but unfortunately no ideas in my head how to solve the problem easily.
    I have a SOAP receiver channel to some external Internet application, send data there and synchronously get the response. The problem is that response contains the link to namespace of this application like this "xmlns="x-schema:http://someapp.com/schemas/response.xml" and XI is able to save this response in file BUT UNABLE to do mapping - I've got an mapping error that fields in result MT couldn't be filled in. I use XMLAnonymizerBean in this SOAP channel but it works only for outgoing message and not for incoming.
    Is it possible to remove this xmlns information from response without complicated for me java and xslt mapping?

    Hmmm..  So you just send SOAP request to some URL and get response. Is response also SOAP message? Well, you write, you are able to receive the message, so it should be ok.
    Ok, i'd suggest you - check the namespace of incoming document. In Message Type dialog there is a parameter: Document Namespace. Put the appropriate namespace to this text box, save, activate, ..try
    Peter
    btw: what is the exact error you are getting?

  • How to remove prefix namespace in Xml from XmlBean

    I am trying to generate XML from XML Bean but i am getting namespace prefix in all my xml elements.
    For example
    <abc:Cutomer xmlns:abc="http://www.xyz.com/pqr>
    <abc:Name>
    I don't have this namespace prefix in my XSD (imported in Weblogic workshop).
    Is there any way that I can remove this prefix from my xml elements?
    Also, I don't need xml namespace in my xml string.
    Is there any way that I can generate xml without having namespace?

  • XML Namespace in WebService Request/Response

    Hi all,
    I have a question regarding xml namespace usage in wsdl and the corresponding request/response messages.
    I have already browsed quite some articles about xml namespaces as well as some forum threads, but I am still not sure.
    I have the following part of a wsdl document (generated by Integration Directory), defining a targetnamespace.
    u2026
    <wsdl:types>
        <xsd:schema targetNamespace="http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance"
                             xmlns="http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance"
                             xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
            <xsd:element name="DebtorGetDetailResponse" type="Z_BAPI_DEBTOR_GETDETAIL_Response"></xsd:element>
            u2026
            <xsd:complexType name="Z_BAPI_DEBTOR_GETDETAIL_Response">
                <xsd:sequence>
                    <xsd:element name="DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL" type="BAPI1007_5" minOccurs="0">
                    </xsd:element> u2026
                </xsd:sequence>
            </xsd:complexType>
            u2026
        </xsd:schema>
        u2026
    </wsdl:types>
    u2026
    In my understanding, all types defined in the schema section of a wsdl document will be in the targetnamespace, if defined.
    Therefore the element DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL would be in the namesapce
    http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance
    However, the ABAP proxy generates a response message like follows,
    where only the root element is in this namespace and the child elements are in the global namespace:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <ns1:DebtorGetDetailResponse xmlns:ns1="http://www.dorma.com/sap/xi/finance"
                xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
        <DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL>
            u2026
        </DEBITOR_COMPANY_DETAIL>
        u2026
    </ns1:DebtorGetDetailResponse>
    Do I have a wrong understand of the wsdl (xml schema) or is this an erroneous behavior?
    The problem is that some 3rd-party software web service module does not accept
    the response message as not complient with the respective wsdl document.
    Any input is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Hans

    I have the same problem. I am trying to connect to a webservice running on IBM websphere but it doesn't accept the xml in my request. It appears to be the same namespace issue.
    Did you ever find a solution for this?
    Is it a valid webservice call if you omit the namespace for an element or is this a bug in the Adaptive WS implementation?
    Web Dynpro web service model generated request:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

    <enableSession>true</enableSession>
    </sapsess:Session>
    </SOAP-ENV:Header>
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    look between these lines -
    <ns1:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop xmlns:ns1="http://schemas.fora.se/modell/tam/1.0/TAM_Data">
    <AnvandarNamn>30039647</AnvandarNamn>
    </ns1:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop>
    look between these lines -
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    As you can see the tag
    <AnvandarNamn>30039647</AnvandarNamn>
    is missing a namespace.
    It should be
    <ns1:AnvandarNamn>30039647</ns1:AnvandarNamn>
    Using a third part tool called Soapui i generate this request that works:
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:tam="http://schemas.fora.se/modell/tam/1.0/TAM_Data">
       <soapenv:Header/>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <tam:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop>
             <tam:AnvandarNamn>30039647</tam:AnvandarNamn>
          </tam:tamKontrolleraKontoLastAnrop>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>

  • How to Post XML Messages with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL

    Hi All,
    Greeting to the Oracle B2B Community. We are currently working on how to post a Custom XML Message with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL. I would really appreciate if anybody could provide me some inputs or links to some documentation on how to achieve the above requirement. The details are below:
    1. Our Internal Application generates a Flat File (PO Extract).
    2. The Extract then needs to be transformed to an XML Message. We are planning to use BPEL to do the transformation to XML Message.
    3. Once it is transformed to an XML message it needs to be posted to the Trading Partner URL as an HTTP Post and with SOAP Headers.
    We are planning to use B2B to do the posting but I am not sure on how to do the set-ups and what all parameter files in B2B needs to be updated in order to achieve the same. Also it is mandatory that we send SOAP Headers in the XML Message.
    Thanks In Advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Dibya

    Hello Dibya,
    As you are already doing the transformation from Flat file to XML in BPEL which is typically the capability of B2B, please use the Soap binding in BPEL to send the document to Trading partner.

  • Remove XML namespace value

    Hi,
    We are using file adapter to generate XML files based on XSD.
    We have a requirement were we need to remove to xml namespace value from the XML file generated by BPEL file adapter.
    Following is the snippet of the xml file generated :
    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    <Consignment xmlns="http://targetnamespace.com/RSA/Consignment">
    <Details xmlns="">
    <Client>RENZA</Client>
    </Details>
    </Consignment>
    I dont want the xmlns="http://targetnamespace.com/RSA/Consignment".
    or atleast it should be just xmlns="" similar to what i have got in Details tag
    Thanks in advance
    Satish

    I tried removing the target namespace as well in the XSD, but the compiler complains.
    Tried removing it before deployment and it also failed.
    Is there any other place where i can specific some values to suppress this namespace generation ?
    Thanks

  • How to remove element namespaces in XML file using DOM or SAX?

    Hi Guys,
    I developed a JAVA mapping in XI to add name spaces for XML file, after mapping,name spaces xmlns="http://www.mro.com/mx/integration" and xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" were added correctly, but for some nodes, such as <Header> and <Content>, a name space xmlns="" was added automatically.Please check below files to compare.
    It looks like be added automatically by XI. I didn't process anything for these nodes in JAVA program.
    Now the issue is, how can I remove these redundant namespaces? Such as xmlns="".
    Can I remove them using DOM or SAX in JAVA Mapping?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Milan,
    Thanks for your replay.
    Actually when I used module XMLAnonymizerBean to convert namespaces, the header of XML, such as <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> was converted to format <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>, quote was converted to single quote. Although I set parameter anonymizer.quote = ", it still didn't work, single quote appeared instead of quote.
    I'm not sure why this happened. Can anyone help to clarify this?
    Thanks

  • How to remove xmls from output?

    Hello All,
    I have created a BPEL process that takes a flat file and converts to an XML file. I get an output of the following (see below). Is there a way that I can remove xmlns="" from the output?
    Incorrect Output
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <WhseShipNotice xmlns="">
    Correct Output
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <WhseShipNotice>
    Any suggestions?

    I can remember if this xsd removes namespaces correctly, I think it may still have the initial xmlns at the top but give it a try. Typically what needs to be done is some embedded java to do this.

  • Remove XML Prefix in SOAP Sender Adapter

    Hi
    I am using a SOAP sender adapter and testing it from SOAP UI. The format that is generated from the web service is
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
       <soapenv:Body>
          <sap:SALES_ORDER xmlns:sap="http://XYZ.org/">
             <sap:HEADER>
                <sap:BATCH_ID>XYZ</sap:BATCH_ID>
                <sap:CREATE_DT>XYZ</sap:CREATE_DT>
    This format when processed in SOAP UI gave error which its not giving for other files. Clearly I need to remove this sap: tag, I can't use XML anonymizer as it is SOAP adapter and I can't select do not use soap env...Could anyone provide me Java/xslt code for the same..I tried all the codes on sdn but none of them worked.

  • How to remove XML messages from Integration Engine

    Hi,
    i had created file - XI -file scenario activated it and check messages using tcode SXMB_MONI .Error messages coming after every minute as i set polling intervals to 60 seconds .Now i had deleted related objects from IR and ID but still XML messages coming in ....please anyone can help to stop this scenario anyhow.

    Dear Jai ,
    i had checked everything before this and even i have checked now and i had created that scenaio by my own userid and passwd. Checked sender interface, reciever interface in SXMB_MONI it's the same which i had given name to them . Even we people are surprised that after deleting all the things in IR and ID . i don't know exactly why it is coming but what i am guessing is that after activating the scenarios it might get executed from XI runtime cache and there is no dependency on IR and ID objects . so what i had done that i completely refreshed the XI Runtime Cache by using tcode SXI_CACHE but it's still not working that way also.

  • How to bind xml generated by guide in Soap request message and then unbind it?

    Hi
    I have issue in "invoke web service" in adobe LC process ?
    Actually , i have process, a long lived, which take input as xml . this xml(data) it get from guide data submission in browser by user?
    Now , what i need to achieve here is that i have to invoke this long lived process in one of my other process via "invoke web service" option.And to do that, i need to bind the xml into Soap message and then it unbind to back same xml in the other process to use it?
    so, my question here is how can i achieve that?

    I'm using PI 7.1.
    regards
    Steve

  • How to remove xmlns from xml using java

    Hi,
    <DLList xmlns="http://www.test.com/integration/feed" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <Weather>
    <StateName>Karnataka</StateName>

    <StateName>Karnataka</StateName>
    <ForecastName>Devengiri</ForecastName>
    <Humidity>89.9</Humidity>
    </Weather>
    </DLList>
    The above xml needs to be decomposed using xsu.I am facing a small problem because the xml has namespaces.
    How to remove the namespace using java to get the below xml
    Note:I am using XSLT for the transformation.The XSLT tag is not identifying the <DLList> tag with name space
    <DLList>
    <Weather>
    <StateName>Karnataka</StateName>
    <ForecastName>Bagalkote</ForecastName>
    <Humidity>89.9</Humidity>
    </Weather>
    <Weather>
    <StateName>Karnataka</StateName>
    <ForecastName>Devengiri</ForecastName>
    <Humidity>89.9</Humidity>
    </Weather>
    </DLList>
    Please help.Let me know if any other information is required
    Thanks

    OK, here goes :
    For the example, I'll use a TB_DISTRICT table with the following structure :
    create table tb_district (
    sr_no number(3),
    district_name varchar2(100)
    );loaded with data from this page :
    http://india.gov.in/knowindia/districts/andhra1.php?stateid=KA
    and this XML document (one additional record compared to the one you posted) :
    <DLList xmlns="http://www.test.com/integration/feed" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <Weather>
    <StateName>Karnataka</StateName>
    <ForecastName>Bagalkote</ForecastName>
    <Humidity>89.9</Humidity>
    </Weather>
    <Weather>
    <StateName>Karnataka</StateName>
    <ForecastName>Devengiri</ForecastName>
    <Humidity>89.9</Humidity>
    </Weather>
    <Weather>
    <StateName>Karnataka</StateName>
    <ForecastName>Dharwad</ForecastName>
    <Humidity>70.1</Humidity>
    </Weather>
    </DLList>In order to access the XML, I'll also use this Oracle directory object :
    create directory test_dir as 'D:\ORACLE\test';Final relational tables are :
    create table BUSINESS_TABLE
      STATE         VARCHAR2(30),
      DISTRICT_NAME VARCHAR2(30),
      HUMIDITY      NUMBER
    );and
    create table REJECT_TABLE
      STATE         VARCHAR2(30),
      DISTRICT_NAME VARCHAR2(30),
      HUMIDITY      NUMBER,
      ERROR_MESSAGE VARCHAR2(500)
    );With XMLTable function, we can easily break the XML into relational rows and columns ready to use for DML :
    SQL> alter session set nls_numeric_characters=". ";
    Session altered
    SQL>
    SQL> SELECT *
      2  FROM XMLTable(
      3    XMLNamespaces(default 'http://www.test.com/integration/feed'),
      4    '/DLList/Weather'
      5    passing xmltype(bfilename('TEST_DIR','test.xml'), nls_charset_id('CHAR_CS'))
      6    columns
      7      state         varchar2(30) path 'StateName'
      8    , district_name varchar2(30) path 'ForecastName'
      9    , humidity      number       path 'Humidity'
    10  )
    11  ;
    STATE                          DISTRICT_NAME                    HUMIDITY
    Karnataka                      Bagalkote                            89.9
    Karnataka                      Devengiri                            89.9
    Karnataka                      Dharwad                              70.1
    Then with a multitable insert, we load both the business table and the reject table (if the district name does not exist in TB_DISTRICT) :
    SQL> INSERT FIRST
      2    WHEN master_district_name IS NOT NULL
      3      THEN INTO business_table (state, district_name, humidity)
      4                VALUES (state, district_name, humidity)
      5    ELSE INTO reject_table (state, district_name, humidity, error_message)
      6              VALUES (state, district_name, humidity, 'Invalid district name')
      7  WITH xml_data AS (
      8    SELECT *
      9    FROM XMLTable(
    10      XMLNamespaces(default 'http://www.test.com/integration/feed'),
    11      '/DLList/Weather'
    12      passing xmltype(bfilename('TEST_DIR','test.xml'), nls_charset_id('CHAR_CS'))
    13      columns
    14        state         varchar2(30) path 'StateName'
    15      , district_name varchar2(30) path 'ForecastName'
    16      , humidity      number       path 'Humidity'
    17    )
    18  )
    19  SELECT x.*
    20       , t.district_name as master_district_name
    21  FROM xml_data x
    22       LEFT OUTER JOIN tb_district t ON t.district_name = x.district_name
    23  ;
    3 rows inserted
    SQL> select * from business_table;
    STATE                          DISTRICT_NAME                    HUMIDITY
    Karnataka                      Dharwad                              70.1
    SQL> select * from reject_table;
    STATE                          DISTRICT_NAME                    HUMIDITY ERROR_MESSAGE
    Karnataka                      Bagalkote                            89.9 Invalid district name
    Karnataka                      Devengiri                            89.9 Invalid district name

  • How to remove namespace

    Hello,
    i have again a little problem, i don't know, how to remove a namespace. I can insert namespaces using SDO_RDF.ADD_NAMESPACES, bit i can't find something like SDO_RDF.DEL_NAMESPACES..any suggestions?

    Hi,
    Deleting a namespace will have to be done by deleting it directly from the table where it is stored, which is the rdf_namespace$ table in the mdsys schema. For example:
    connect mdsys/<mdsys password>
    delete from rdf_namespace$ where namespace_name = '............';
    Please note that the namespaces stored in this table are not used by any of Oracle's operations. This table is merely a convenience for the user, and a similar table can be created in the user's schema, which is likely to be much more convenient than storing it in the mdsys schema. Going forward that is the approach we recommend, as future versions of the product might not include the rdf_tablespace$ table in the mdsys schema (nor the associated add_namespace() API).

  • How to remove SOAP tag from request going from OSB flow

    Hi,
    I need to send message to external party...I am using OSB for that. ...But the external party said they dont want any soap tag in the message as they need only required information .

    please suggest for the same.

    Hi All.
    For removing the namespace from header I found following function but not sure how tom implement it for my requirement.
    Pleae help if possible.
    I need a XQuery function to remove name space from my xml message.
    my message is
    <Body xmlns:soap-env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <TransactionAcknowledgement xmlns="">
    <TransactionId>HELLO MSSL</TransactionId>
    <UserId>MC</UserId>
    <SendingPartyType>SE</SendingPartyType>
    </TransactionAcknowledgement>
    </Body>
    I need
    <Body xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <TransactionAcknowledgement xmlns="">
    <TransactionId>HELLO MSSL</TransactionId>
    <UserId>MC</UserId>
    <SendingPartyType>SE</SendingPartyType>
    </TransactionAcknowledgement>
    </Body>
    Function I found is
    declare namespace xf = "http://tempuri.org/vijfhuizen/com/myMessage/";
    declare function xf:strip-namespace($e as element())
    as element()
    element { xs:QName(local-name($e)) }
    for $child in $e/(@*,node())
    return
    if ($child instance of element())
    then xf:strip-namespace($child)
    else $child
    declare variable $e as element() external;
    xf:strip-namespace($e)
    I have created the function but not suire how to execute it.
