In the generated PDF am not getting the required format

Hi,
ur text edit is binded to some context attribute  and attribute has some data type ,
u can save the data as lower case means the upper case conversion will  not be done by checking the lower case property of domain.
create a domain with the data type u want , in the defination tab set the check box lower case . and then create a data element using this domain and use it ...

  • How to import xml with data?

    Excel 2013
    i got an XML file generated by the GPinventory tool. when i import it into Excel, i only get the headers.
    how can i import the data as well?

    Hi,
    As far as I know, the GPinventory tool Supported Operating System :Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, I suppose it generated XML file with Excel 2003 schema, but Excel 2013 have a new XML schema. This issue usually caused by the XML scheme.
    Please create a Excel 2013 schema XML file
    to test with Excel 2013, if the file could be import well. We'd better check the generated XML file.
    As a workaround, we'd better save the results as
    a tab-delimited text file and then import to Excel 2013.
    If this issue still exists, please upload the XML file through OneDrive. I want to test it.

  • How to edit XML parsed data and save on iPhone app

    Hi,
    How to edit and XML retrieved data that is displayed on an iPhone app and save again in the same XML file using iPhone SDK.
    In other words I want to change the XML file data or edit and save.
    Thnx in advance.
    Regards
    Amit

    Hello amit,
    No, not at all. Surely you will parse your XML file using the NSXMLParser class. OK! i think i get it now, do you wants to change/modify the value of any tag in the XML file? For that you will be required to parse your XML file using NSXMLParser class, and fill out some data structure (according to the the XML format) do some changes into your data structure, and then write your XML to the file (according to the edited data structure) using the method i told u earlier. This is what my preferred method is, and i am pretty much sure that it is not a bad way to do this at all.
    Hope this clarifies some of your queries.

  • How to generate xml using "Data Template"

    Hi,
    Can any one please tell me the steps to create xml using "Data Template".
    As per the user guide the execution method for "data Template" is "Java Concurrent Program" and the Executable mentiones is "XDODTEXE".
    But there is no information about the "execution file name" and "execution path name" which is mandatory.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sandhya

    Hi Sandhya,
    To put a Data Template into use, you don't need to define any new executables. XDODTEXE executable is already registered in the system, as it ships with the application. The Data Template is not an executable as such, but a collection of instructions for what queries to perform and what should the resulting XML look like. XDODTEXE knows how to interpret those instructions, and produce the XML output.
    (And if you add a layout template, handle that too.)
    You do need to do the following:
    1) Create a new Data Definition (XML Publisher Administrator > Data Definitions)
    2) Upload your Data Template (remember the Code for the next step)
    3) Create a Concurrent Program that is linked to the Data Definition (Short Name = Code) (System Administrator > Program > Define)
    4) Add your Concurrent Program to a Request Group (System Administrator > Security > Responsibility > Request)
    I recommend you take a look at the XML Publisher Administration and Developer's Guide, you will find more information there.

  • How to retain original song data (Date Added, etc.) after computer reformat.

    Hello!
    I recently had to reformat my computer, and I was able to copy all my music files and data to an external hard drive.
    I currently have iTunes installed on my C drive (Windows 7) and all my music files are on a partition of my PC hard drive (P:). See image below.
    What I like to do is to retain all the original song information (Date Added, Last Played, Play Count, etc.) from before I reformated, without all the songs having a Date Added of today's date and time.
    I've tried to research this elsewhere on the Internet. A couple suggestions I've read pertain mostly to Macs but included the following:
    ~ Using the "iTunes Library.itl" file by choosing a library. Not sure how to do this method on the Windows version. (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3155068?start=0&tstart=0)
    ~ Changing the iTunes Media folder location (under Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced tab). I changed it to the folder above (P:\My Music\iTunes\) and clicked OK but nothing happens.
    Any help or detailed instructions are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    OK, I partially solved the problem.
    I primarily followed the steps under Re-creating the iTunes Library file on this page:
    iTunes: How to re-create your iTunes library and playlists  http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1451
    I imported using the iTunes Music Library.xml file that I saved before reformating. This file had all the correct library information before I reformatted, including the Play Count, Play Date UIC, Rating, and Date Added data. Snipet here:
    <dict>
              <key>Track ID</key><integer>20090</integer>
              <key>Name</key><string>Killer Queen</string>
              <key>Artist</key><string>Queen</string>
              <key>Composer</key><string>Freddie Mercury</string>
              <key>Album</key><string>Greatest Hits I</string>
              <key>Date Added</key><date>2011-02-27T21:44:06Z</date>
              <key>Play Count</key><integer>5</integer>
              <key>Play Date UTC</key><date>2011-04-14T05:11:12Z</date>
              <key>Rating</key><integer>80</integer>
    </dict>
    Upon importing, all the music and playlists are now in my library along with all the original data I had before (Last Played, Plays, Ratings)...
    ...EXCEPT for the Date Added column. All the songs in my library show the same date of 05/15/2012 under Date Added.
    Is there a reason why the Date Added data is not carried over?
    On a side note: my music hard drive partition before the reformat was "J:", now it is "P:". So, to make it work I made a quick find/replace to the iTunes Music Library.xml so that all "\J:\" now show "\P:\". If this makes a difference, let me know.
    Thanks!

  • How to Copy Sales Text Data from Customer Master to Sales Order.

    Hi SAP Guru's
    I have Completed Configuration for Central Text for Customer Master for two texts 1)Additional Attachments 2) Wooden Packing
    I got these two fields in Customer Master.
    I need these data to be copied from  Customer Master to sales order. But i am unable get these two in to sales order.
    Steps which  I have done for Text Determination.
    1) Text Id in for Text Object KNA1
    2)Placed Text Id  in Text Procedure  and assigned   this procedure to Customer Account Group.
    Could you please advice me
    Thanks in Advance.

    Text Control
    In this IMG activity, you define the rules for text determination. You must carry out the following steps:
    Select a text object and define the rules for text determination for this object. Text objects are, for example, the sales texts in the customer master record or the sales document header.
    Define the permitted text types for every text object. If the text types contained in the standard SAP R/3 System are not sufficient, create new ones.
    Define the access sequences. This way, you define how the SAP System should determine the texts for a text type.
    Group the text types together in text determination procedures. The SAP System then proposes the text types from the procedure when you maintain a customer master record or a sales & distribution document. The search for the respective text is carried out using the access sequence which you have stored for each text type in the procedure.
    Allocate the text determination procedures so that a procedure applies to the following criteria in each case:
    account group customer
    sales & distribution document type
    item category

  • How to insert XML/dtd data into oracle db

    Hi,
    I have posted this question on couple
    sites and unfortunately I haven't received
    any response. Hopefully this time,
    someone can at least direct me to the
    website/document/sample codes which can provide me solutions of my question.
    My question is:
    Given a DTD, can the XML SQL Utility generate
    the database schema?
    I am trying to find out how the XML data can
    be loaded into the oracle database.
    Thanks in advance,
    Judy
    null

    A DTD does not contain enough information to do a good job at creating a database schema. It contains no datatype information, no field length information for starters, so a table created by a hypothetical DTD->to->Tables utility would be at best able to create a table with all VARCHAR2(4000) columns. Not that useful.
    My book contains lots of examples of techniques for loading XML data into Oracle, include lots of sample code and a whole chapter devoted to building a flexible "XMLLoader" utility for loading XML of arbitrary size into the database.

  • How to load xml file data

    hi ,
    I know how to load data from csv file...
    Anyone can guide me for how to load data from xml file
    i need step by step guidence
    from
    naman

    hi naman shah,
    you can used XML DOM in SAP in order to read data from xml file
    first step to do that, you need to read the xml file using OPEN DATASET
    after that you convert the content of the file to XML DOM class in SAP using function modul SDIXML_XML_TO_DOM
    after that you can read / manipulate the data from xml.
    for the XML DOM class documentation in SAP, please refer to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/bb/576637dca511d4990b00508b6b8b11/frameset.htm

    Hi,
    ur text edit is binded to some context attribute  and attribute has some data type ,
    u can save the data as lower case means the upper case conversion will  not be done by checking the lower case property of domain.

  • Facelets - any ideas on how to output XML (text/xml)?

    Hello there,
    Instead of putting out an xhtml file I plainly wish to output an XML file.
    First of all, is it possible or even necessary to develop a special extension aside from the .xhtml for these types of files. If so then is there a common standard being used such as *.xxml or should I just make something up.
    Secondly, I simply want my client to receive the page with the content-type header of "text/xml".
    Please keep in mind, I'm looking for a very simple example or suggestion(s)/references.
    thanks in advance.

    According to the latter there is an answer in the Facelets FAQ:
    http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Projects/FaceletsFAQ#How_do_I_change_the_response_con
    And according to the file extension question, I don't think there is any standard, why don't you use .xml extension?

  • How to search xml file data based on the given keyword from html form

    hi,
    i'm new to XML. I have this problem regarding searching within a XML file.
    the
    idea is that my search will be based on the keyword entered
    in
    by the user from a HTML form. the keyword is then used to search all
    the
    question nodes and the choice nodes within a XML file. once the match
    is
    found, i will have to display the results.
    But i don't know how to do so - especially the part of searching xml file.
    Can
    anyone help me in this? Your help is much appreciated.
    Edited by: Moti_Lal.D on Apr 4, 2008 7:28 AM

    yeah.. what i was trying to do is
    i have one xml fine. then i have to read all the tag values say
    <book>
    <title>Java</title>
    <author>agarwal</author>
    <price>200</price>
    </book>
    <book>
    <title>Xml</title>
    <author>saxmann</author>
    <price>300</price>
    </book>
    i can read the tag values like this
    File file = new File("dom.xml");
    try {
    DocumentBuilder builder = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance().newDocumentBuilder();
    Document doc = builder.parse(file);
    NodeList nodes = doc.getElementsByTagName"book");
    for (int i = 0; i < nodes.getLength(); i++) {
    Element element = (Element) nodes.item(i);
    NodeList title = element.getElementsByTagName("title");
    Element line = (Element) title.item(0);
    what i want is i may give any xml file
    like File file = new File("xxx.xml");
    (it may be one level/two level/3level tagged one)
    then the i should read all the tag values and store them in some array. Then when i enter some character from keyboard (say "a") then it has to show all the tag values starts with "a" and display them.
    i guess u understand my problem.

    Also I am using ODP.Net.

    Hi,
    Are you getting an error? If so, what?
    This works for me..
