How to return a data structure such as an array from PJC to a Form

Hello,
I am trying to find a way to return an array of data from PJC.
I know how to do it one cell at a time, but it is a very slow way to develope
a program.
Is there any way to return an array of data from PJC with a single method call?
This seems to be impossible, because the GET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY only returns
strings.

How to return complex data to PL/SQL pkg from java running in JVM

Hi, I don't know where could I post this question, so I post it here.
In Oracle, we could create object as type, and can pass it to Java (powered by JDBC I guess, but I don't know how to, if some one know, please tell me where could get the good document to teach me about this), but is there any way could return complex data (maybe in Oracle Object Type) to PL/SQL (not using long & seperated by sign string / using middle table)?
If you know, please tell me how to / tell me the url or book name for how to do this, thanks!

How to populate/import data in a XSD file generated from a webservice

I have an XSD file generated from the webserive using the CRM FM E2C_DOWNLOAD_CRT_SCHEMA.
I created a Adobe form with the Adobe life cycle designer using the XSD file.
However Data will have to be entered manually in this adobe form and cannot be pre-populated with data, How do we pre-populate data in the Adobe form generated from XSD file of the above CRM FM.

How to determine the data content of the uploaded PDF from local

I have a requirement wherein I will create a new program to upload PDF(contains contract information) from my local directory. Then base on the data in the PDF, I need to perform some contract validtion with SAP. The problem is, I do not know how to extract the data in the PDF. How to do so?

Hello Marc,
As we know in conventional ABAP when PDF file is read, SAP converts into binary format which is not directly readable. There are various applications which converts PDF to Text files, using these tools PDF file can be converted, uploaded and read the data.
SAP Portal technology gives reading PDF files option.

Keep explaining. The only way I know of to trap a selected cell value in VIEW is to embed into the desired VIEW area a second non-modal SUDialog that has a Table control or an XTable control displaying the values of certain data channels. There are callbacks in both table controls for cell selection, and you can configure the table control to allow only single cell selection if that's what you want. The regular table control will be easier to program, but the XTable control will perform much better for larger channels.
But what happens with that value the user selected? Is it used for a calculation? Is it added to a report? Why would the user select that cell in a table rather than selecting the corresponding feature in a graph with the crosshair cursor?

How can I handle data that I need to populate from arrays ?

Hi,
I am using JDeveloper 10g(10.1.3.3) and I have a case where I consume some web services and populate arrays from these calls.
Say that I have a search form where the user select a state from a combobox then the city combobox is refreshed according to the selected state.
And these state and city are based on different views. Since I populate the views programmatically I couldn't use a viewlink.
Any suggestion? What should I be using to support a data source like this?

How to return course data from different tables from a procedure

I have a procedure which must return information from two tables:
The sturcture of tables is as below:
Table 1:
id,
name,
property,
type
Table 2:
id1
id2 ,
property.
id1 of table2 refers to id attribute of table1. ie id is the foreign key for table2.
the tables are defined such that for corresponding to each id in table1 there would
be two or more rows in table2.
Now in the procedure given the id, i need to retrieve information from table1 and also all the rows in table2 which refers to id2.I want to return a cursor.How can i do this.
eg:
if table 1 has an entry with id 2
and table 2 has three entries with id1 referring to id(i.e id1=2)..I need to return the table1 entry with id=2 and three entires from table2 with id1=2.
If cursors are not appropriate, what other alternative methods can be used.
Any suggestions would be of great help.

The result set would be returned to the client .....which would do further processing.The client does not even know that the data is organized in two tables..Therefore given an id, client would expect to have all the information...i.e the info from table 1 and info from table 2 where the relation ship between id and other ids are stored.
i.e say client has id=6.This id has property,name,etc stored in table1.
This id can further be related to any number other of ids.It can be related 2,5,100,or may be even 10000s of other ids.This mapping between the original id and other ids..are stored in table2.
So given the id by the client , i would want to return property of the ids itself along with all the ids that it is related to .
I want to achieve this.....

Need help on how to construct proper data structure using vector

I have several data files need to be loaded to my application. The data file has only 2 columns: "mean" and "standard deviation". The data file is looking like following:
mean standard deviation
217.0 27.3
312.1 31.5
I used two vectors to store the mean data and standard deviation data.
Vector meanVec = new Vector();
Vector stdVec = new Vector();
the file is loaded once a time. so how to make a vector of vector to store the data like a matrix?
In another word, when multiple files need to be loaded, how can I keep track and store these data to display in two table (or files) which can display mean data from all the files and std from all files, like the following:
table1 or file1
mean1 mean2
217.0 282.3
table2 or file2
std1 std2
27.3 27.9

If your application doesn't require to keep track of which mean (or std.dev.) values come from which file, whatever you are doing is just fine.
Use ArraList in place of Vector, as Vector being part of older collection framework is avoided in newer programs (as far as I know).
While reading each file line by line in a loop, store the first value on each line in one list and the second value in the other. After reading all the files, you would have two lists containing the mean and std. dev. values.

How to return binary data from a servlet?

This is my problem:
I have a table (generated from a database), and I would like the user to be able to select a one of the items in the table. When the user clicks the link I would like to transfer a piece of binary data stored in my database.
I am quite new to Creator and web apps, so I don't really know the best solution to implement this. I have one requirement: I must log the file transfer in the database (the web-servers log is not good enough...)
Any help would really be appreciated...

How to returns multiple data with function in varray?

I have 3 rows in my table and i want the return in VARRAY, but
in my function bottom it works for only one row of my table.
I don't know how to have the return of values in 3 rows of my table,
it's possible to have multiple dimension in varray? Or another way for

What is the format of the period date you want to get, is this date in the DB and you want to filter it based on the month and the given Date?
Did the month and given date are two parameters in the report? if possible, could you please provide some sample data in the DB and also the snapshot of the report structure
I assume you want to get the period date(mm/dd/yyy) between the select month(e.g:Feb) and the given date (10/1/2014) and you should get the date between(02/01/2014-10/1/2014).
If so,and you also have two parameter "Month","EndDate"(EndDate is the given date), please reference to details information below:
You can create an new parameter "BeginDate" (Date/Time) which is the begin date of the period, you can use the expression to get the value based on the value of the month and the year value from the given date,finally hide this parameter:
Specify the available value:

How to read a table/structure value in a container from a Z program

Experts,
I have a WF with one of the container element is a multiline table element of the strucuture BSEG. Now I have a report where given a WID, i need to read the contents of this structure from the workflow container and display in ALV grid.
I'm using the FM SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER or SWW_WI_CONTAINER_READ to read the container. No issues till here now.
I'm able to read the contents of the attributes that are simple without being in a structure/table.
But, how do i read the values from the table/structure in the container from this FM?
I see lots of threads talking about SWC_GET_TABLE or something like that. But I don't know whether and how to use it in my scenario. Any sample programs will be greatly appreciated.
