You can the option in Customizong "Define Versions"  > Settings for Fiscal Year > choose the Integrated Planning,
but if already exists planned data, set the indicator by tcode KP96.

    Hi..
If you use classic PCA, refer to Plan Data Transfer - Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA) - SAP Library.
If you use new gl pca, refer to Transferring Plan Data from Controlling - General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL) (New) - SAP Library

  • Balance sheet planning in EC-PCA - Profit center accounting

Does anybody has experience in planning balance sheet positions in EC-PCA ?
We create balance sheets by Business Unit in profit center accounting for inventory, WIP, assets and AR/AP.
Now it is the goal to use this data for the planning.
I only found a function for inventory. Does anybody know if it is generally possible to do this for all the mentioned balance sheet positions and what is the best way to go for it ?
    Thanks and regards, Sebastian

    Have you tried 7KEV transaction?

  • Data extraction from Profit center accounting and load to BCS

We need to extract data from profit center accounting in SAP R/3 and then we will have to load the same  to BCS ( Business consolidation) module as file upload.
Can anyone please explain me the steps involved in extracting the data from Profit center accounting.
    Advance thanks.

One way is to view GLPCT table and summarize in Excel as needed. This can subsequently be saved as CSV to fit the flexible file upload configuration.
Another alternative is to extract the table to a basic infocube and use this a the source data basis for the load from data stream data collection method.
    Good luck.

    Hello
There is many ways, like define in the post before, and you can transfer it monthy,
There is also another way is to implement NewLedger.
But this is more harder than activate profit center.
    Best regards

  • Automatic plan figures updates at Profit Centre level.

    Hi,
I would like to know whether do we have any scenario like Automatic Plan figures updates at Profit Centre Accounting level when we do Cost Centre planning.  The Profit Centre should be picked up by the system automatically from the Cost Centre master.
Of course, here the Cost Centre to Profit Centre relationship is 1:1.
If anybody come across the above required scenario, please let me know how to achieve it.
Thanks for your inputs well in advance.
Note: I know we can copy the Cost Centre plan figures to Profit Centre level by using copy function.
    Regards.
    Chandra

    Hi
In version maintenance, you need to tick integrated planning....
In PCA, create the doc types for planning and maintain no ranges...
Also, if you are on New GL and you want to use New GL planning, you need to do settings in new GL menu for the same... assign version to ledger, fiscal year , etc
last month there were couple of threads on it .. Refer this link for new GL planning settings

  • COPA Planning to Profit Center Accounting

    Hi,
    We are using ECC 6.0.
When we do COPA planning and transfer the values of COPA to Profit Center, no data has been transfered to profit center plan items.
We have not activated Planning version of Classic Profit Center Accounting. Is it required for ECC 6.0 also to activate Classic Profit Center Accoutning?
We have Mapped requisit Value fields of COPA to GL Accounts.
Can any one guide us in this regard.
    Thanks in Advance
    Sudhakar

    Hi,
In COPA the planning has been done to the value field of PRCTR which represents Profit center. Through report forms the actual and plan data for the value fields can be derived in COPA itself. I dont think that the planned values can be transferred to profit center accouting. On the other hand the actuals of profit center with the same value fields can be derived in COPA.
    Assign points if its useful

  • Error in Plan Data Transfer from CO

    Hi,
I need to use Plan Data Transfer from CO (FM9C). But when I execute it, I have an error "CO Objects without FM Assgmt".
How can I setup the derivation between CO and FM objects?
All documentation that I've found are for SAP 4.6, but we are using SAP ECC 6.0...

    Hi,
Are you using former budgeting or BCS? If you use BCS, you should use FMCYCOPI_CO. In any case, to link CO objects to FM entities, use FMDERIVE strategy - it works for planning in the same way as it does for real postings.

  • How we can automate the data loading from BI-BPC

    Dear  Guru's
Thanks for watching this thread,my question is
How we can load the data from BI7.0 to BPC.My environment is SAP-BI 7.0 and BPC is 7.5 MS version and 2008SQL.
How we can automate the data loading from  BI- BPC Ms version. Is manual flat file load is mandatory in ms version.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Srinivasan.

    Here are some options
    1) Use standars packages and schedule them :
        A) Openhub masterdata file into a flat file/ BPC App server  and Schedule the package - Import Master Data from a Data File and  other relevent packages.
2 ) Using Custom Tasks in Custom Packages ( SSIS)
    Procedure
From the Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence Developer Studio, open the Microsoft SSIS folder.
Create a new package, or select an existing package to modify.
Choose  Task  Register Custom Task .
In the Task Location field, browse for the target .dll file.
    Note
By default, the .dll files are stored in BPC/Websrvr/bin.
    End of the note.
Enter a task description, select an appropriate icon, then click OK.
Drag the icon to the designer window. Enter data as required.
    Save the package.

  • BPS Copy plan data from one cost center to another using vairables

    Hi experts,
I am trying to copy the planning data from one cost center to another in BPS.
I have just done it using a copy function and in the parameter group entering the costs centers for source and destinations.
What I am trying now it is to let the user select what this destination cost center could be.
I don`t know if this can be done using a variable. What I am thinking is; when the user enters executes the parameter group a pop-up appear that let him select the cost center for the destination.
May be this is not possible. Can you suggest me other ways of doing this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
u can achieve this by creating a variable with the replacement type as  'User Defined Values'. You also need to enable the check box 'Input Allowed by user'. And at the planning level, in the 'Selection' tab, you should map the charecteristic (Cost Center) with the created variable. Same thing should be done at the planning package level.
Then, when you execute the parameter group, a pop-up comes asking for the value of the costcenter.

  • Profit Center Accounting-Transfer of Accounts payable/Receivable

    Dear All,
in our company SAP  was implemented in  2005 . Now we configurd PCA and  transfering the Ending balance of Accounts Payable/Recivable ( Transaction 1KEK). System only select the invoices which were posted in last month ( Feb,2009) and ignore all the open invoices which were posted  before Feb,2009.
Please advise me, How I'm able to post the ending balance of Accounts payable/Recivable on respective profit center.

    Hi
The transaction 1KEK is specific to a period. The first box that you would provide the period and then the year. Subsequently you will be providing the fiscal year. So only the entries for Feb 2009 will be going over to PCA. If there were any entries subsequent to the execution of 1KEK, you need to execute it again in order that the delta entries make it to PCA.
You transfer payables and receivables to Profit Center Accounting in the course of normal period‑closing activities. You can transfer payables and receivables as often as you wish, since the system deletes previously transferred data before each new transfer.
Hope this clarifies. Else please get back.
