How to save a user version of interactive reports in 3.2.
My users ask me to save a "modified version" of a defined interactive report (eg. the want to change the selected columns and the remember them).
When I connect to a report as developer I see a "Save Report *" option which asks me if I want to apply the "configuration" as default for all users (this is not my need).
When I connect as normal user I simply don't see any save option.
I read in the documentation it's possible (if I understood well) but I din't find the way.
My reports were developed in 3.1 and then migrated to 3.2.

That can only work if you use an Authentication scheme (so not on a ' Public' page).
And check the Report Attributes of that Report: Is 'Save Report' ticked?

Details of interactive report subscriptions are available in the APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_IR_SUB APEX view. The maximum size of a subscription email address is 255 bytes. -

Goto SQ02 to create Ur Infoset by Giving Logical database name or Simple Database table
Then Choose What ever data U need to be included in The Qurey in field Groups.
Then Generate the Infoset
Now Assign the infoset to user group
Now goto SQ01 and Click on Other user group Button and choose Ur user Group.
Then in the USer group select Ur Infoset and then create Ur own Query and save this.
Now select the infoset query and goto More functions under Query menu and Generate report name.
Now Create a transaction code for the report name generated.
Now use the Tcode.
Hope U have got the basic idea of creating Queries.

You can use the Transaction STMS choose the option "Import Overview" . In the GOTO tab select "History" and choose "Import History".
Here you can find the history of requests imported to the prod system.

I don't think this is a standard feature of Hyperion Reports.
Why do you need to see all the users in a report. Administrators can always query EAS, Shared Services or MaxL.

lukxWell, to understand your requirements can I ask this:
You said earlier you want a report sent whenever records that meet a criteria exist, correct? So you want the application to query for a condition, and when that condition occurs (a row with primary Key = X, a select COUNT(1) for rows with column X returns a result of 1 or more)
Then you would schedule a batch job:

How to sort a average in the interactive report
I have a interactive report. The columns are candidate_name, reviewer_name, score.
each reviewer will have a score for a candidate. There are many candidates. My boss wants to know which candidate get the highest average score. I build an interactive report.
I can average the score for each candidate_name and break with this column. I don't know if we can sort the average score for each candidate_name column. If we can, how to do this.
Thanks a lot!Not sure if you got an answer for this, but the only way I know how to do it would be to use an analytic function on the query so that the average of the scores is listed as a column. When you have that, then you can sort by it. As of ApEx 3.2.1, you will not be able to create this new column using the interactive reports "Compute" feature. You'll need to build it into the SQL.

How to introduce blank line separator in Interactive Report

I've an Interactive Report that shows date-ordered records (game fixtures for our local Ice Hockey team).
I'm using highlights and filters to make the output more "meaningful".
Any advice on how to introduce a horizontal blank-record "gap" in the data to separate the rows of output please?
I know I can use the "Break" feature, but its not that pretty in this circumstance - it looks like overkill.
All I want to do is to deliniate the fixtures that occur in separate weeks.

a "to_number" for sorting purposes.
If you look at the output, its not that blindingly obvious which fixtures happen on which week - a simple horizontal
line gap when the week changes would look nice.
Some sort of SQLplus "break on weekOfYear skip 2" or so.

I have a doubt about Interactive reports/ ALV interactive reports. Is there any option to select multiple selections in interactive reports. If I am displaying in a screen CustNo, Name, Country.
I want to see order details of that customer in another screen using AT Line-Selection. Can I select multiple customer nos at a time and also can I see those order details whom I selected over in first list.

Praveen.Check out this sample. It uses two ALV grids. On the first one you can do multiple selection, hit the continue buttons and it will throw another ALV with those material/plant records. Implement the following program. Create screen 100 and 200. One each screen create a custom container called ALV_CONTAINER(screen 100) and ALV_CONTAINER2(screen 200). Create the gui status for both. Don't forget to create a "CONTINUE" button on the gui-status 100.

How to edit "Single Row View" in Interactive Reports?
Hi,
When using Interactive Report when one clicks on the little page icon on the left on a gievn row - one is presented with a small output from all columns for that row.
For example login as demo/demo to:
http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=12988:1
And click on the first icon in the first row. You'll get an output like:

How (and where) can I modify the output of this?

In fact this is what I have done. What I am looking after is simply how to modify what is already there. That way, I don't need to create different pages with Next/Previous buttons etc... for every Interactive Report I have. -
Question on Migrating repository files from Brio8 version to Interactive Reporting version11
We are migrating from Brio 8.3.1 version (unix) to Interactive reporting version 11.1.2.1 (linux)environment. I am referring hs_migration.pdf this is for 11.1.1.1 I couldnot find better version than that. There I can see migrating repository files on page 154 I attached screen shot and pdf for your reference. Here repository files means what are those .bqy reporting files or normal repository files?
Is it possible to migrate .bqy files, .oce files and folder structure in the Brio web application to Hyperion Interactive reporting workspace using the migration utility tool? As per my knowledge .bqy files sits on the unix server but not on the schema (repository) which we used for installation and configuration of Brio 8 environment. so repository files means not .bqy files I think that is my doubt.
I need your help in clarifying my doubts.That means to move .bqy files and .oce files should I connect to existing Unix Reporting server keeping it as source and existing Linux server as target? or should I connect only to Brio8 repository as source and Interactive reporting repository as target?

How to remove the edit icon in interactive report?
Hi All,
I am using the Customer Tracker 1.1 sample and I would like to remove the edit icon on the Customers list. (Instead I would like the Customer name to be the link itself).
However, nothing I do on the reports properties seems to have any effect on this icon!
I have even remove the A.ID column from the underlying SQL query but I still see the little pencil!
Any ideas?

How to open a link in an interactive report?
Hi all,
we have an interactive report which displays in one column an url.
If the url is formatted like this 'http://www.test.com', the link can be opened within the interactive report, when it is formatted like 'www.test.com', without the 'http', it can't be openend.
Is there any possibility that links with 'www.test.com' can be opened as well from the interactive report or do we have to mass update this column on database side?

For example

Note: In the code above, I have used a decode statement and an inner SQL to fetch the value from the other table. Modify it as per you case
You also need to change the emp_name column in the report settings to be shown as "standard report column" (instead of display as ..) -
