How to save changes to preset instruments

I make changes to the preset instruments (reverb/echo/etc) and I would like to save the instruments so I can use them in different projects. Is it possible?

When you change the settings for a patch and then click the name of the patch again in the Inspector, GarageBand 10 should show the following prompt:
Click "Save as" to name the patch and save the settings.
If you want to use the saved settings again, you will find them in the "user Settings" section of the Library Inspector.

It looks like this is a driver that Tektronix wrote and donated to the Instrument Driver library. The VIs on the palette are a mix of examples and instrument driver VIs, and the examples hard-code the GPIB address. (The instrument driver VIs have the white background on the icon, and the examples have a gray background.)
So, if you are interested in using one of the examples in your application, I would make a copy of just that example VI. Be sure to rename the VI when you make a copy. (E.g., "My TEK 278X.vi". Otherwise, since LabVIEW only allows one VI of the same name in memory at a time, your application might link to the original VI in instr.lib.) Ensure that all of your VIs reference the new copy, and not the VI with the original name in instr.lib.
In these examples, it appears that there's a string constant on the diagram that you just need to change from "1" to whatever your GPIB address is.

This will come after the data was EDITTED and when SAVE was clicked by user in output scren.
Here now in the final internal table(ITAB) you can find the data changed in EDIT mode.
After this you can do manipulation what ever you want.

How to save changes in a Table?

Hi Experts,
I have included my own component into an SAP component as an assigment block. My component shows a table (Table Context Node). I have made some columns editable. However, when I try to make changes in this table, after pushing the Enter Button, the chaged values is being replaced by the old value.
I have set
rv_disabled = 'FALSE'.
in my GET_I_<attribute name> method. I guess there are other things to do..?
How can I make and save changes in my table?

I just saw that in Method IF_BOL_BO_PROPERTY_ACCESS~SET_PROPERTY , the condition:
if ME->IS_CHANGEABLE( ) = ABAP_TRUE and
LV_PROPS_OBJ->GET_PROPERTY_BY_IDX( LV_IDX ) ne IF_GENIL_OBJ_ATTR_PROPERTIES=>READ_ONLY.
is skipped (coding in IF statement is skipped)..
I think the IS_CHANGEABLE( ) thing is "true", but
IF_GENIL_OBJ_ATTR_PROPERTIES=>READ_ONLY
is set..
Where/ how can I set/ reset this? I have had a look around and did not find anything..

ESX24 Saves changes to my instruments in Editor - When choosing DONT SAVE

The header pretty much says it all...
I do editing in an instrument via the editor - when clicking in the "close" button of the editor I am presented with a dialog that asks me to whether save of dont save or cancel... I choose DONT SAVE on 3 different instruments--- However - when choosing another instrument and then going back to the instrument that I did not save - the changes I did not save are still there - in my case it left me with 5 un-playable instruments... Is this the standard behavior of the EXS24??? If so - what sense does that save dialog make ?

This sounds like the exact same (annoying) behavior as in L7. It's disheartening (I'm being nice) to hear that this hasn't been changed in L8.
The only way to work around this is to save your edits under names that will be easy to find when you later do a Finder search for them for the purpose of trashing them. Anyway, after you save those instruments, reload the original ones and you'll be OK.

You haven't said what version of Pages you are referring to.
Hold down the option key when you go to the File menu and Save As… appears.
It was Apple stiff necked response to users complaint about its removal. They couldn't just put it back.
Once you do do this it is pretty much what it was before.

Iphoto 11 , How to save changes to photos, not saving -/ snow leopard

Hi , after much ado then discovering the recent "fix" for Iphoto 11 I started using it today. I uploaded new photos , edited them and quickly discovered that Iphoto was NOT saving any of the changes I had made.There is no longer a "Done" button so I went back to again check the few photos I had adjusted , Iphoto only saved changes for one out of 10 of the photos I had adjusted.
Is there a "save changes" function I am missing here? Anyone else experiencing this problem?

How are you exporting? If you select the photo and export (file menu ==> export) with kind = JPEG or current the edited version will be exported
if that is not happening try renewing your preference file -
A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. This may help
This does not affect your photos or any database information (keywords, faces, places, ratings, etc) in any way - they are stored in the iPhoto library - the iPhoto preference file simply controls how iPhoto works - which is why renewing it is a good first step.

Videos - How to save changes made via Adjustments?

The new video features: Great!
I tried CTRL+S to save changes (changed Exposure to totally black for testing) to my .MOV video file - however, the file is unchanced. I'm guessing the adjustments are still just sitting in my Lightroom catalogue.
Is the correct way to export the video and re-encode it then?
If export is the only way - shouldn't there be some "save" function? I never trust the Lightroom catalogue to always keep all changes, I always do some CTRL+A, CTRL+S to save the changes to the files, so they are hardwired - would I have to export the videos, copy them back to the original folder and delete the original videos?

You cannot save changes to the video files as you can do with photo files.
In this case, everything is saved in the catalog, and you will need to export to render the video.
However, it is generally admitted that the catalog is a safer place to record changes, compared to individual files, and it is also easier to backup.

How to SAve changes with theGET_PREVIOUS & GET_NEXT

I have a form that I like to make changes and go to the next record, I've used the built in Next & Previous Button, but those doesn't save, I get the Warning (Are you sure you want to leave this page without saving?) so I need to click on Apply Changes and that send me back to the previous page or (if I change the navigation) back to the same page and then I click Next.
My question: Is there a way to do both at the same time, Commit the changes and GO to NEXT or PREVIOUS Page, with a single button?

Yes, go to the Next (or Previous) button properties page and go to the URL Redirect section. Change it to "No Target", this will make it submit the page as usual instead of the warning popup.
Open up the On Submit Before Computation Branch that is attached to the Next (and Previous) button and change its firing point to OnSubmit After Processing. Make sure that any unconditional branch on the page has the highest branch sequence (999) so it is evaluated last.
Assuming you have a Automatic DML process (Process Row of ...) process on the page to save changes, remove any When Button Pressed condition from it and make it conditional upon the following PL/SQL expression
:REQUEST in ('SAVE','CREATE','DELETE')

I installed my Premier CS3 on my new PC and wanted to use some of my old PRESET setting that i have saved on my other PC...

On my old PC i modified let's say a Trapcode plug in and saved it under PRESET , basically i chnged certain prameters within that plug in and saved it under a new name, now that i upgraded my PC and reinstalled my Premier on the new PC, is there any way i could go to my old PC and somehow save that file and use it on my new PC, so when i try to use my old preset, i get the same settings ?

Ok Harm here its..
I used the Magic Bullet's MisFire on one of my clips, but you know how you goto effect control settings and change certain parameters and then you can save it under a user PRESET, which appears on top of all effects as Presets, ok there we go .
so, everytime i wanna use the MisFire i goto Presets on top of effect page and use that one instead of the actual MisFire from Magic Bullet video effect section, that way i don't have to change any parameters , its already set the way i wanted to look !

How to save CS3 print presets?

Here is my issue: When I go to the print dialog and choose save preset, I make the changes ( I want a tabloid preset that selects tray 4 from our Splash server/Docucolor 12 setup) but when I select the "Printer" button and choose "Paper Feed" and switch it from Auto select to Tray 4, it won't retain my Tray 4 setting. It remembers everything else. This causes the print job to go to the error queue with the error "no 11x17 paper trays installed" - when there are and paper is in there.
I want to be able to share this preset with the other designers in the office.
Mac OS 10.4.11/Adobe CS3 Design Standard
Any thoughts?

Are the optional trays listed in the printer setup for your printer? Maybe they need to be activated.

How can I save the settings to individual slides in an iPhoto slideshow? I followed the instructions for changing the zoom and pan, but when I exit iPhoto an relaunch it the settings revert to some default. Help!

Try this: make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

I have a small problem with the onChange event with HTML input fields.
When changing a value of a input field or by creating a new value for a field the OnChange event is called by moving away the mouse pointer....
get_form_field( 'field_name' ).
But is it possible to write back the new value in the source field ls_screenstructure_field1 without using the OnInputProcessing?
I ask because my application´s structures have a lot of fields that should be filled and changed by input fields.
It´s not comfortable to request every new value with .. = request->get_form_field(... .

you wanted a onchange for a htmlb:inputfield which would also trigger server event. try the following code.

I do not find a way to store my individual name preset of the section picture import
Can somebody give me a hint
System : MacBookPro with 10.9.2 plus Aperture 3.5.1
Background : had to reinstall my system by reloading all original software. With this you get the standard set-up for file naming in the picture import section. the archive recovery I have done and have all pictures and its working files back, but what is missing is the user surface setup of APERTURE, which I had before. This has been not stored in the recovery file

How did you restore your home folder after you restored your system?
The file naming presets and other presets you are looking for are stored in your user library in your home folder in the folder
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/FileNamingPresets.plist
Restore the files in this folder from your backup before you erased your drive, e.g. FileNamingPresets.plist
You user library may still be hidden, as is the default in Mavericks: To open your hidden user library:
Select the "Home" folder icon (the little house) in the Finder's sidebar and press the key combination ⌘J to open the "view options".
Enable "Show Library Folder".
Then open the Home folder and open the Library folder inside and navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Aperture
