How to see the peak values in a chart?

I have the following situation: I am applying the FFt to an acceleration signal. In the FFT-peak graph I see different peak frequencies. However I would like to know how much are those peak values and either display them in the chart on top of the peaks or extract them in numerical indicators. Is any of these solutions possible in LabView?
I guess the question stands for any kind of graph or chart where you want to extract and see only certain or peak values. Any suggestions?

OK. Attached is a VI which allows you to move cursors 0 and 1 to select any section of a graph, and then click a button to get the maximum of that particular section. It also places the third cursor (red) at the location of the maximum it finds. It is all done using property nodes of the graphs.
This VI is based on an exercise of the LabVIEW Basics II course, which I took a long time ago, but the manual of which is still very useful.

Here when you have the callableSattement as ?=proc(?), the first ? is an output parameter. So you should register it as out parameter using registeroutparameter.
Then you can get the value from the outparameter using callablestatement.getXXX().

How to see the values of subtotal

Hi Gurus,
I have a small doubt regarding pricing procedure. In pricing procedure we have a column called Condition subtotal, it stores the value in the table and we can call this value whenever we required.
My question is here where we can see the subtotal value and how. I tried to view this value in table but it is a structure that is the reason i could not view it.
Please respond to this thread.

Hi:
What you can do is to used subtotals on to the pricing procedure. If you uses subtotals 1 to 6 this will be store on table VBAP on field KZWI1 to KZWI6. You can also used other subtotals D to M is you want to used formulas.

How to see the content of an attachment in sxmb_moni

Hi all,
Does someone know how to see the actual content of an attachment in sxmb_moni?
If I look under Inbound Message (CENTRAL)/Payloads, I would see one node for MainDocument and another node with the name of the attachment.
When I click on the attachment name, a word document shows with one line in it. That line is just the name of the attachment and nothing else.
How can I see the actual content of that attachment?

MT940 - How to change the text value in AC doc created through EBS

Dear All,
I would like to know how can we manipulate the payee details sent by the Bank so that unncessary things are removed from the text of the accounting document created through EBS posting (FF_5)
My bank statement has the below lines

After running the program the I see the below values
FEBRE-VWEZW : 999/00BGCMDIR 5735826JAN165635826
FEBEP-CHECT : NONREF

I think, text value in the ac document is the concatenation of FEBEP-CHECT & FEBRE-VWEZW.
However I dont want FEBEP-CHECT & few initial chacters of FEBRE-VWEZW in my accounting document text. I would like the text to be MDIR 5735826JAN185635826
Can anyone please suggest how this can be achieved?

One of the solutions is (taken from another source):
As of Release 4.70, there is a Business Add-In (BADI) with the definition name FEB_BADI that is called immediately before the standard posting in program RFEBBU00. In this case, you can change the procedure of the standard posting or make additional account assignments by changing the tables that are to be transferred to the posting interface (FTPOST, FTCLEAR). To do this, go to the SAP menu and follow the path Tools->ABAP-Workbench->Business Add-ins, create an enhancement that you assign to the FEB_BADI BAdI and then implement the CHANGE_POSTING_DATA method.
When you activate the BAdI, you receive a message, telling you that the active implementation of this BAdI already exists. If you do not use the public sector industry solution, you can deactivate the active BAdI of the IBS_PS area and activate your own implementation.

For what I understand, you know the user and want to know the groups that the user is member of (am i wrong?)...
With this query you pass the user's DN to the ldapsearch and the search gives you back the list of groups the member is a member of, all you need to do is change the value "uniquemember=cn=orcladmin" in the query for your own user.
For example:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapsearch -h localhost -p 389 -D "cn=orcladmin" -w oracle10g -b "dc=acme,dc=com,dc=au" -s sub "uniquemember=cn=orcladmin" dn
will give you the list of groups that the user "cn=orcladmin" is a member of.
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapsearch -h localhost -p 389 -D "cn=orcladmin" -w oracle10g -b "dc=acme,dc=com,dc=au" -s sub "uniquemember=cn=smithj,cn=Users,dc=acme,dc=com,dc=au" dn
will grive you all the groups that the user smithj is a member of.
if you don't want to get the DN of the group you can change the last parameter of the query like this
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapsearch -h localhost -p 389 -D "cn=orcladmin" -w oracle10g -b "dc=acme,dc=com,dc=au" -s sub "uniquemember=cn=smithj,cn=Users,dc=acme,dc=com,dc=au" cn
will give you the CN of the groups the user is member of.

Actually I have integrated Apex 4.2 version with EBS r12
select FND_PROFILE.VALUE('ORG_ID') from dual ; in apps schema I m getting 198 value
but the same query(select apps.FND_PROFILE.VALUE('ORG_ID') from dual ) in custom schema (XXCVBB) returning null value..
Is there any pre steps I have to do...
kindly provide the useful inputs to retrieve the profile value..........

Hi,
fnd_profile.value('ORG_ID'); will fetch you value only if there is a organization assigned to any application [or only if its a single Org], being it custom application you should have used set policy context or mo_global.init to populate the global temporary table which will hold all the Org's which that specific user has access too.
in your custom code use MO_GLOBAL.SET_POLICY_CONTEXT('S','ORG ID WHICH YOU NEED TO SET');
after setting the policy context, you should be able to see value from fnd_profile.value('ORG_ID');

i would like to measure and hold the peak value of voltage while measuring using an accelerometer,when the voltage goes above certain range . also save highest 5 values.

You could have a shift register on your acquisition loop that is initialized to hold an array of 5 values. Start with all 5 element holding something less than the expected normal input value.
Now each time through the loop, test the new reading to see if it's greater than the minimum value in the 5-element array. If not just go on and repeat the loop.
If the new reading is greater than the minimum value in the 5-element array, append the new reading to the array, sort it in decending order and drop the last element (the old minimum value).
The array will hold the 5 greatest values and the max of the array will be the peak value.

You can use Analyze>Signal Processing>Time Domain>Peak Detector.vi or
Threshold Peak Detector.vi
I'm not sure if it's in the normal LabVIEW version, I'm using Full
Development...
For every peak detector you'll have to think very hard what you consider a
peak. E.g. a peak caused by noise might be of interrest (or the only
interrest) for one application, and not of any interrest for another. I've
done several peak detection applications, on network analysers, freq.
analysers, oscilloscoops, even vision applications... It's one of the
hardest things to program.
Olso, there might be several solutions, including Artificial Neural
Networks, Genetic Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic... If possible, go the easy way
and use the VI's mentioned above.

How to update the table value in the valuechange event?

I have an input field in the datatable with the valueChangeListener

After calling the valuechange method, the screen output doesn't update the cost.
How to update the table value in the valuechange event?

As you're misusing the valueChangeListener to set another input field, you need to skip the update model values phase. Otherwise the value set in the valueChangeListener will be overridden by the submitted value. You can do this by calling the FacesContext#renderResponse() inside the valueChangeListener method. This will shift the current phase immediately to the render response phase, hereby skipping the update model values and invoke application phases.
