How to set the radiogroup default value?

I have created a radiogroup named P521_SIZE_NUM(Dealsize, DealNum) and want DealSize is checked when the page is showed. how can I set default value in the page Definition?

If you made a radio group off of the following static LOV:
STATIC2:One;1,Two;2,Three;3if you set the default value of your radio group to 2, the radio button with the label Two will be selected. You have to make sure to set the default value to the actual return value not the display value.

  • HOW TO SET A ITEM DEFAULT VALUE  to today

I have a item using select list and I like to set this item default value as
today's date , such as "select to_char(sysdate,'YYYY-MM-DD') from dual"
HTMLDB failed recongnize the default value, or throw error Error ERR-9132 Error in PLSQL expression for item default code, ...". I have tried each of 3 avaialable Default Value Types
Per http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=443287, it is used to be doable, but the default value type (sql) is no longer avaialble in HTMLDB 2.0
I would appreaciate it very much if anyone has successfully done this before, either set to today or current month

Ching - Did you try a PL/SQL Expression using to_char(sysdate,'YYYY-MM-DD')?
There have been no changes to the item default types available in HTML DB. The thread you referenced is for Oracle Portal, a separate and unrelated product.

  • How to set radio group default value

    Hi,
I have a radio group in a portal form. How do I set one of them as checked when the form comes up?
    Thanks;
    Kelly.

It might be possible with javascript. since a radio group is an array, you should loop
through the index to set the correct
    checked value.

  • How to set the parameter ID value for a range

I am trying to call transaction KSB1 (Display actual line items for cost center) by supplying all the default values for the selection options/parameters and skipping the selection screen from the calling program. However, for the cost center range, both HIGH and LOW field have the same PID (i.e. KOS). Same thing for the cost element range. When I set the value for PID "KOS", only the low value got populated.
I tried to pass a BDC table to the
    CALL TRANSACTION 'KSB1' USING  bdc_tab
, but the PID used before takes higher priority so the bdc_tab values got overwritten by the PID values for those fields.
Does anybody know how to find or set the PID for a selection range? I need PID for Cost center range, cost element range and the period (PID="VPE").
Any advice is appreicated. Thank you

otherwise try to make use of SUBMIT command.
    <b>Hi Preetahm ,
KSB1 is a Report , not a Tcode to maintain master data or any thing like that ?, u can also cross check?</b>

  • How to set a 3 default values for a dependent key flexfield

    hi,
I have an inquiry in oracle applications 11i - Oracle General Ledger module, Accounting Key flexfield structure.
we have an independent key segment PROJECT and a dependent key segment SUB-PROJECT.
Can we define 3 dependent value for the SUB-PROJECT to be the default for any new entered value in the PROJECT segment??
e.g creating 3 default SUB-PROJECT values: X, Y, and Z. Any new value entered to the PROJECT key segment will have X, Y and Z by default as it's SUB-PROJECTS.
If the above scenario is possible, please guide me to the best solution...
    Thank you...

I can find that the value set of any dependent value set has only one room for a default value.
What are the implications of creating a new Independent value set and assign it to the SubProject segment, on historical data and reports?
    thank you...

  • Workspace Preferences -- Setting the right default values

    Good afternoon --
We are in the midst of rolling out Hyperion Planning 9.3.x along with Financial Reporting, SmartView, etc. to a large population (~1000 users). We would like to be able to set and/or reset certain user preferences.
The most salient example is Financial Reporting > General > User Point of View > Preview --- default setting is "Off" but this causes user confusion and support calls the first time users log in. Is there a way for us to set the default to "On" for all users instead?
[Other potential examples -- default start-up content, PDF vs. HTML Preview, position of the POV]
    Thanks,

  • How to set the EJB timeout value??

I made a Swing application connecting with EJB to provide some service. If I set the correct J2EE server IP, everything works fine. However, it will throw an Exception after some time, if I set an incorrect IP. I would like to ask if there is any means to set a timeout value for the Swing application that it throws an exception while it cannot connect to the server after the timeout value.

    Hi,
Amount of time required to call an EJB on a remote server depends on, I would guess, multiple factors, like server performance, network speed, link quality, etc. I'm not sure if there is a direct way of telling the client-side code to wait for results for a limited amount of time, but in general blocking on the client side until the server results are available is not a good idea (at least not from the GUI perspective, since you would be locking the display). Either way, you could make all your EJB calls from a separate thread, and timeout that. This way your client code would have complete control of responsiveness of the server side.
    Just a thought.

  • How to set the system default file character encoding to UTF-8?

Hi all. This is driving me nuts, on both my Windows box and Snow Leopard; I figure much more chance of finding the answer for OS X.
My language and locale are set to Australian English. $LANG=en_AU.UTF-8
However, as I believe is expected, OS X (and Windows for that matter) will create files by default with character encoding of Cp1252 (Latin-1). That is, the FILE encoding in the file metadata - the Byte Order Mark I believe. The file itself, not the characters written to it.
This, in a word, bites. I don't want to be restricted to only ASCII by default, and it is causing me problems with certain software (a Firefox plugin) that creates text files, passing in UTF-8 encoded content, which is then mangled because the file encoding itself is still Cp1252. (I know, I've tested this by changing the file encoding manually and having it overwritten again by the plugin: works correctly.)
As a simple example, just `touch somefile` from terminal creates a file in Cp1252 -- I'm obtaining that info by opening in jEdit by the way (anyone know of something better?).
In other locales that are not English-based, I believe the default file encoding is UTF-8. But surely this can be controlled independently? There must be a system configuration value somewhere that specifies file encoding default. Can someone please tell me what it is?
    Thanks!

Apps like TextEdit and Mail have settings that let you determine the encoding of text produced. The default would normally depend on the character content of the file, ranging from ASCII for basic English to Windows Latin-1 (Win 1252) or ISO Latin -1 (ISO 8859-1) to UTF-8 for other content.
Win 1252 is not ASCII, but has twice the number of characters in the latter.
Byte Order Mark is something totally different --it's a particular character used to signal certain encodings.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byteordermark

For what Terminal does and how to change it, it might best to post in the Unix forum:
    http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=735
For problems with a FireFox plugin, it might be good to ask on their own forums as well.

  • How to set the compiler macro values in the IDE?

    Hi,
I want to change the values of macros ($(OutDir), $(TargetName), $(TargetExt), etc) when setting my VC++ project.  For example, $(TargetName) is set to the project name by default.  I would like to change it to, say, "Connector".
I spent quite some time to find the information but failed.  Many web sites direct to replace $(TargetName) totally with a hard-coded name instead of changing the value of the macro.  I am a little surprised and embarassed about failing to find information
for such a simple task.  Please kindly help me out.  Sorry to bother you with this simple question here.
    Thanks.
    Tony

When I change my output name in the project setting (Project->Properties->General->Output Directory) and rebuild the project, I get the following error messages.  I suppose that I should change the value of $(TargetName) instead of manually
replacing the output path "$(OutDir)$(TargetName)$(TargetExt)" with the new output file name.  But I cannot find where I can change the value of the macro $(TargetName).  Can you please help me out?  Thanks in advance.

  • SRM 4.0- How to set the default values for product type (01) only for SC

The radio button “Service” should not be visible.
Also for search help (e.g. search for internal products) where a search should only be possible for product type 01 (goods). The system should not display the product type and internally always search for goods only.
How to set the default values for product type (01) only for SC
We needs to use Search help BBPH_PRODUCT which having parameter PRODUCT_TYPE
Here we can set defalut value 01 but it is not correct one since same search help is using several places.
We need to limit the search help results only for SC.
    Kindly help out me ASAP.

The easiest way to set defautl values is to edit the batch class.
Goto the characteiristic and go to update values.
In here you probably have something like 0 - 100 as a spec range.
On the next line enter the default value within this range.  At the end of the line, click in the box in the column labelled "D".  This indicates the defautl value for the characteristic.
If you need to you can do this in the material classification view as well.
Just to be clear, these values will only show up in the batch record.  You can not have defautl values in resutls recording screens.

You need to specify "Default Values" in the report parameter property. Choose similar option used in the "Available Values" option, this will allow the parameter to check "Select All".
