How to split big xml-messages with file inbound adapter

Hello,
we have big xml-messages in our filesystem, which are processed by XI 3.0 (SP11). We are using the file inbound adapter. Now we want to split these big xml-message into some smaller messages.
Exist there a corresponding function to the "xml.recordsetsPerMessage" which is working with xml-files?

Hi,
maybe you can split the message in the BPM
with 1:N mapping?
Process Integration (PI) & SOA Middleware
I don't think anythink like "recordsetsPerMessage" is possible for xml messages

How to Post XML Messages with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL

Greeting to the Oracle B2B Community. We are currently working on how to post a Custom XML Message with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL. I would really appreciate if anybody could provide me some inputs or links to some documentation on how to achieve the above requirement. The details are below:
1. Our Internal Application generates a Flat File (PO Extract).
2. The Extract then needs to be transformed to an XML Message. We are planning to use BPEL to do the transformation to XML Message.
3. Once it is transformed to an XML message it needs to be posted to the Trading Partner URL as an HTTP Post and with SOAP Headers.
We are planning to use B2B to do the posting but I am not sure on how to do the set-ups and what all parameter files in B2B needs to be updated in order to achieve the same. Also it is mandatory that we send SOAP Headers in the XML Message.

As you are already doing the transformation from Flat file to XML in BPEL which is typically the capability of B2B, please use the Soap binding in BPEL to send the document to Trading partner.

I think there is not native rule for this, but you could try a transport rule which removes all attachments over a very small file size like 1KB.

I assume you mean load it into XML DB ?. Fundamentally your document is about the upper limit for 9.2.x. I would strongly recommend trying to break it up into a set of smaller documents using a SAX parser before trying to load it into XML DB. In 10g it should be possible to load much bigger documents than this.

Sure others will have some other ideas, but here's what I typically do to get the XML from a JMS queue. Inside the Global Automatic that pops the messages off the queue you'd have logic similar to this:
artifactInfoNodes as Any[]
xmlObject as Fuego.Xml.XMLObject = XMLObject()
load xmlObject using xmlText = message.textValue
. . . Once you have this, it's a matter of deciding what you want to do with the message. Most times you'll parse the XML (using XPATH statemens), set argument variables and create a work item instance.

Yup. You all are right. I ordered Adobe Acrobat today and the order is still processing. I can get to Adobe Acrobat.com but that too does not work. How to associate a test message with a change document

I am using solution manager 7.01.
accessing my change documents through the workcenter I need to create a new test message - so I use the Create transaction button on the button bar, Service Process, Test Message
Then I am in the create test message screen. However from here I cannot see how to associate my test message with either the change document that I was processing or to the maintenance cycle.
Ideally I want to link the test message to the change document however at least to the maintenance cycle.
How do I do this?
Am I creating the test message in an incorrect way?

How to get rid of messages in idx5 idoc adapter

We are having a lot of messages in idx5 (327828 for a particular date). When I go to sxmb_moni "Monitor for processed xml Messages" I do not find these messages there.
We are running the archiving/deletion reports and I expected theese to take care of the Idoc Adapter messages as well. Is this not the case? Are there separate archiving/deletion jobs for the idoc adapter? How do I get rid of the messages in the idx5 xml messages in the idoc adapter?
When running the report RSXMB_SHOW_STATUS this is today (after archiving/deleting all messages older then one day) showing good 30.000 messages in the database - and do not show the huge number of messages in the idoc adapter.

The baseball is probably the symbol assigned to you in Address Book - take a look and see. It appears on all your sent mail in Mail, but not on the messages as they appear to recipients, so don't worry about it too much. If you don't like it, you can remove or replace it through Address Book.

I am unable to find a similar feature with the J2EE File Receiver's Communication Channels configuration.

Issue with JMS inbound Adapter and Asynchronous BPEL

Hi Gurus,
I am facing the below issue with JMS inbound Adapter and Asynchronous BPEL .
I have 2 JMS Queues one inbound and one outbound . The Composite has multiple BPEL Components around 4 on an average and i have 4 composites similar to that .
Totally 4 Composites * 4 BPEL Components = 16 Services
Propoesd Solution :
I have used MessageSelector in the JMS Adapter for selecting the incoming message. The BPEL gets invoked if the message selector is true and proceses the Message and writes the response to the other Queue.
Initially i had no problems but intermittantly the BPEL processes are getting invoked but they are not processing the data ( Bpel process is supposed to invoke an external service and get the response in a sync call) and each BPEL processe instance is in running state for ever . This remains even if i restart the servers .
The message gets read by the JMS Adapter , BPEL instace gets created but it wont proceed futher and remains in the runnign state for ever.
If i redeploy the Composite then messages get processed but the issue creeps up again ( i tried to checl the logs but ino cluea about the issue .
Getting frustrated day by day tried the bpel.config.transaction, increased the JMS Adapter threads , inreased the worker threads but all in vein..
please let me know if any one has faced similar issue .

We are also facing this issue in 11.1.1.5.
Breifly the issue is : The BPEL process which polls an inbound JMSAdater ( consume_message) either stays in running state forever ( whatever we do) or go to the recovery queue. It doesnt recover even if i try to recover it. This happens intermittently. Redeploying the application / restarting servers sometime solve the issue but as know we cant do that on prod systems .
Can some one look into this on priority and help us giving a solution/workaround.

This is because you are attempting to read the entire file at once.
File I/O allows you to read anywhere from one byte to the entire file.
I don't know what is in your file, but the read characters from file has
an input for how many characters. Or you can use the more advanced File
Open followed by File Read with specific types wired up.
Either way, determine how you will break it up. 40 10M files, 10 40M
files, etc. Then make a loop where you create the new file, read the
data from the old large file, then write it to the new file, then clos
e
the new file and go to the next iteration of the loop.

How to find an XML message ID with a wildcard QueueID

Hi,
My scenario is: transfer purchase orders from SAP SRM to marketplace(3rd party system)
The QoS is EOIO, therefore my POs are transferred with Queues but each queue has a leading prefix which are all registered.
The project is already go-live for over 6 months.
I have tried with SXMB_MONI of course, the display of Messages is far too limited(only 2000 messages is allowed to be displayed one time, or, is any way to adjust this?)
And also a table called SXMSPMAST, I searched with a queue id "*3000012345" in the field "QUEUEINT", no result. (3000012345 is the PO number)
Is there any other table to find a certian message by queue id?

do you realy want to search for message id by queue it?
wouldn't it be easier to search with PO number
(which is probably inside the XML message?)
if so then you can use TREX to search inside the XML messages
payload (from XI SP15)
isn't this an easier way?

I need to upload an :AZT file and then SPLIT the data of .AZT fiel at ";" into various fields into an internal table "itab" and then I need to save/update these data of internal table "itab" to database table "ZLT_AZT" . But I am facing some problems in the output. So please follow the following to understand my problem and please suggest me as how to SPLIT the data correctly at each ";".
1) The code that I wrote in se38.
2) The attachement; Projekt ABAP AZT file upload doubt5.jpg; the screen shot of the output that i am getting in internal table "itab" during debugging after my code is executed in se38
PROBLEM: I am unable to SPLIT the data at ";".

PROBLEM:              i) I am not able to see all the columns. I am only able to see the 8 if 9 columns.
