How to stop batch-procedure

I've recorded a handling in Photoshop and i played it in a batch by Bridge.
During this i saw my crop was  not applicable on all photos and now i want to stop the batch.
is that possible and how can i do that?

If the escape key doesn't stop the process you could kill Photoshop from the task manager.

    You could cancel the Job in SM51 transaction. Choose your PID from SM51 and go to menu-->choose cancel without core. It takes some time to cancel the job completly.

  • How to stop the internal batch session

    Hi ,
    How to stop the internal batch session, which is triggered from the program.
    When I execute the program, there is an batch session, which starts processing in parallel with the program, and causes an error message for the program, so the further process is affected.
    I tried finding the session through the Transactions - SM35, SM37. However, I could find any session in my name.
    However, when I try thro SM04, I could find an session with the same error message. But I am not able to end the session.
    Pleas advise.
    Thanks,
    cartesian.

    Go through transaction SM50. In case you have more than one application server (transaction SM51 will show) you can also use SM66 which will show all running processes on all application servers.
    With SM50 you will only see the process running if it is running on the same application server you are logged on to.
    Mark the process and use menu 'Program/Session - End Session' or 'Process - End with or without Core'
    Hope that helps,
    Michael

  • HOW TO STOP THE PROCESS CHAIN WHICH IS RUNNING IN THE PRODUCTION?

    HI ALL,
    CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO STOP THE PROCESS CHAIN WHICH IS RUNNING DAILY AT 5.00 PM. I NEED TO STOP THE PROCESS CHAIN FOR COUPLE OF DAYS AND THEN RESTART IT AGAIN.
    cAN ANYONE TELL ME THE PROCEDURE TO STOP THE ENTIRE PROCESS CHAIN RUNNING IN THE PRODUCTION.
    THANKS
    HARITHA

    Hi,
    First and foremost let me advice you to be very careful while doing this.
    For Rescheduling
    RSPC> chain > Goto > Planning view and
    click on Execution tab > select > Remove from Schedule and then in Maintain variant of start process reschedule for the day you require it to run.
    For terminating active chain
    You can start from SM37, find the process WID/PID then go to SM50 or SM51 and kill it. Once its done come back to RSMO and check the request, it should be red but again manually force to red and save by clicking on the total status button in the status tab. This shuld ensure that the process is killed properly.
    The next step will be to go to targets that you were loading and remove the red requests from those targets.
    Note: For source system loads you may have to check if the request is running in the source system and kill if needed and pull it again.
    But for BW datamart delta loads u may have reset the datamarts in case u are going to pull the delta again.

  • How to stop and start RAC Database

    Hi,
    Can anybody tell me How to stop and start RAC Database.
    Pls give me the exact procedure for OS - IBM Aix 5.3.
    Rajkumar

    Burleson,
    It so appears, as from the numerous times you have been published incorrect, untested information, and non-working scripts, you are not an Oracle guru,
    but only a self-proclaimed one.
    It also appears nothing on your 'CV' can be easily verified.
    You state you are an 'adjunct professor emeritus', however anyone who was kicked out after a few months can call himself a 'professor emeritus'.
    Looking at the enormous amount insults and slander you have posted directed to me and others on this forum, showing a highly unprofessional attitude toward your peers,violating this forums rules of conduct, don't you think you deserved to be banned completely?
    After all, you are always promoting your own publications here, which is also in violation of the rules for this forum.
    What makes you think that "Sybrand" is a man's name? How many male Sybrand's do you know? I don't know any, not one.
    That's your problem. I'm as much as male, as you are a fat, ugly, self-proclaimed Oracle-guru, which you are clearly not, you are only a fraud, and this glares from all of your publications.,

    How to end a procedure immediately before it is ended normally when some exceptions that I can't anticipate occur.

    If you want to stop the process, you have to propagate the exception through your PL/SQL blocks.
    Let's see this 2 examples :
    SQL> Declare

    18    when others then
    19      dbms_output.put_line( 'stop with error : ' || sqlcode ) ;

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.the main procedure is not stopped by the exception
    let's propagate the excexption from the p1 procedure (line 11) :

  • How to stop the mixed-content Yes/No question every time you log in or change screens.

    Since the new VZW forum format when I log in or change screens I have been asked if I want to accept content that was not sent encrypted (HTTPS:\).  See attached photo to see what I mean.
    Speaking for myself, I found this very annoying so here is how to stop it if you are using Windows Internet Explorer.
    Bring up Windows Internet Explorer.  I use IE8 and it fixed mine.
    Then go to TOOLS>Internet Options and Select the Security Tab.  Then Click the Custom Level button.  Next go down through the list in the Miscellaneous Section and change "Display Mixed Content" to ENABLE.
    Hope this makes your day a bit brighter, it did mime!
    JerryF
    If you want to see more about this you can look here.
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/askie/archive/2009/05/14/mixed-content-and-internet-explorer-8-0.aspx

    jco23,
    Go back and again check to see that it is ENABLED.
    I say this because the first time I "tried" to enable it, it didn't enable it.  I tried again and discovered that I did NOT do the proper exit procedure when closing (leaving) the miscellaneous list after I changed it to enabled.  Oh dopey me!!!
    The second time it worked.

    the above file is test.sql
    i am writing a code as below:
    begin
    @c:\test.sql;
    end;
    "@", "prompt" and "set serveroutput on" are all SQL*Plus commands. You cannot issue these inside PL/SQL code.
    Let's keep it simple and assume you have a script called "runme.sql" and it contains the following:
    set serveroutput on
    spool c:\tmp.output.txt
    begin
      my_procedure(123);
    end;
    spool offand the my_procedure procedure is like:
    PROCEDURE my_procedure(p_value IN NUMBER) IS
    BEGIN
      DBMS_OUTPUT(TO_CHAR(p_value*p_value,'fm999999')); -- display the square of the number
    END;and you want to put that into a procedure on the database.
    Firstly, the "set serveroutput on" is an SQL*Plus command that enables the output buffer to be displayed if any code uses DBMS_OUTPUT to put out information.
    PL/SQL has no user interface, so there is no such concept as a place where output can be displayed. Therefore we will just have to abandon the set serveroutput on statement for our PL/SQL
    Next, "spool" is a SQL*Plus command that takes output and puts it into the specified file. PL/SQL doesn't have a native spool feature, but it does have packages that allow data to be written into files. e.g. UTL_FILE. So we can do something with that to convert it.
    Next the procedure call. It simply does some calculations and outputs the data using DBMS_OUTPUT, which our SQL*Plus script is capturing and putting out to the spool file. Hang on though, we can't spool in PL/SQL so that procedure will have to be re-written a little.
    So let's just put all that into our procedure and make life simple...
    CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY MYDIR AS 'C:\TMP'
    PROCEDURE my_procedure(p_value IN NUMBER) IS
      fh  UTL_FILE.FILE_TYPE;
    BEGIN
      fh := UTL_FILE.FOPEN('MYDIR','output.txt','w',32767);
      -- DBMS_OUTPUT(p_value*p_value); -- display the square of the number
      UTL_FILE.PUT_LINE(fh, TO_CHAR(p_value,'fm999999'));
      UTL_FILE.FCLOSE(fh);
    END;
    /This procedure now opens a file, writes out the data and closes the file again. No spooling, no server output using DBMS_OUTPUT, just all self-contained within the PL/SQL code.
    Now, you need to do something similar with your own code. Take what you are doing in your scripts and put them into procedures and just have one procedure call other procedures as necessary. Stop confusing yourself by mixing SQL*Plus scipts and PL/SQL code.

  • My MacBook Pro switches automatically from a program to finder while working.  Can anyone make suggestions on how to stop this?

    My MacBook Pro will automatically jump from a program (Safari, Excel, etc.) to the Finder window.  Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of certain system caches.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and  Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • How to STOP syncing with Outlook via GPRS?

    I use an unlocked iPhone 3G with a prepaid mobile card.
    Everytime I open my Calendar function on the iPhone (just to see the days and dates) the iPhone attempts to sync over the air with my Outlook account calendar via GPRS.
    This costs a bomb on the prepaid card, and I want to stop the sync function.
    Would someone kindly tell me how to STOP the iPhone from syncing with my Outlook Calendar?

    If calendar events are synced over the air, this means you are accessing an Exchange account or a MobileMe account.
    If you don't want to sync calendar events over the air with the account, you need to turn Calendars off for over the air syncing for the account preferences on your iPhone. This will erase all calendars and calendar events from your iPhone and you will need to sync direct with a supported application on your computer via the iTunes sync process. If an Exchange account with Outlook on a Winblows PeeCee, this will not be possible.
