Hi sir,
Here i want to know how to store the data's of a .txt file
in to a JTable in java swing.
Where here the .txt file like for eg,spooler.txt is in the server and from there it will come to my client machine what i have to do is to take that .txt file and store the datas of the .txt file
in a JTable.This is what i want.So pls. do help and provide the code as well.I will be thankful.Since i am involved in a project which involves this it is Urgent.

You can't just display data from a text file in a JTable. You have you understand the structure of the data so that you can parse the data and create a table model that can access the data in a row/column format. Here is an example of a simple program that does this:

Hey Kevin!
Using FORMS.TEXT_IO to bulk load data from a file strikes me as re-inventing the wheel. It is just about justifiable in a self-service environment, but I regard the EXTERNAL TABLE is a better solution for that situation as well.
The same applies to UTL_FILE. I think the ability to read text with UTL_FILE is primarily intended for read file-based configuration or file manipulation/processing rather than data loading.
Re-writing a text file into SQL statements is too much like hard work (even with an editor that supports macro definition and regular expressions) for no real benefit. You lose all the bulk load peformance you would get from SQL*Loader. But for QAD I'd probably let you off with it.
You missed out one obvious alternative: using Java to turn the contents of an XML file into a CLOB and inserting it into a table which is read by a PL/SQL procedure that parses the XML records and insert the retrieved data into a table.

i don't think this is complicated enough for anyone to write a tutorial. but i could be wrong about that.
you have 2 steps:
1. use the urlloader class to send data to a server-side php script that saves your data to a .txt file
2. use the filereference class to download that file.
they're both pretty easy if you use the flash help files to start you off.

if I have a File, and the data in the file are type int, type String...
And I have a ArrayList which is of type Question
How do I store the data of that file into the ArrayList
I tried to use the while loop(use the hasNextLine() to read the data line by line)
But I cannot add data which are not of type Question to the ArrayList.
Can you tell me what I should do, please?
I also wonder that
The data of the file are of many types, but when I try to read it with the nextLine(), the data all turn out to be of type String. Why?

No, a line in the file is just part of a question
The format of the file is like this:
*<question type code>                    :     String*
*<question point value>                    :     int*
*<question category>                         :     String*
*<question difficulty level>               :     int*
*<question text>                              :     String*
*<question correct answer>               :     String*
*<optional question-specific data>     :     String*
*<question terminator>                    :     String*
And here is an example

I'm using Agilent 8719ET network analyser and wish to store the data coming from netowrk analyser into a text file/ excel file.
Presently I'm able to get the data on Labview graph using GPIB . Can anyone suggest how to go ahead after collect data sub vi. How can the data be stored into a file apart from showing on the graph?

First let me say that your code really looks pretty good. The data handling could be made more efficient by calculating the number of datapoints that are going to be in the completed dataset and preallocating the entire array -- but depending upon your answer to my questions, the logic in the lower shift register may be going away - so we won't worry about that right now.
The thing I need to know before addressing the data storage question is: Each time you call "Collect and Display Data.vi", how many element are in the array? Are you reading single data points, or a group of data? (BTW: if the answer to that question is obvious based on the way the other VIs are setup, I don't have the drivers so I can't tell what the setup values are.) Second, how fast does the loop iterate? Are we talking msec per loop?, seconds? fortnights?
The issues here are two-fold: how much data? and how fast is it coming? The answer to these will tell you how to save the data.

How to store the data instead of memoryengine to database when use XML file

Hi Experts,
I have doubt which is into XML to database data transfer.
While transferring the data from XML to database the tables will be store in memory for the xml files, my aim is instead of storing this in memory engine
is there any way to store the data in to the data base itself..
I am assuming when the data size increases say for example huge amount data, storing this much of data is big issue here right, so to avoid this is there any way to store
this data directly in the database level.
Please understand my requirement or else I have the good explanation about my requirement and please assist me how do this job....

The above are the details I have applied to my ODI studio for creating the dataserver.
After applying this I got the following error.

One way is to use sqlloader. Three files are used. A control file, an xml data file, and a file with the path of the xml data file. Here's the control file. It reads load.file, which is the file with the path of the xml data file. It names the path ext_path, and inserts the xml into field xml_field.
CONTENTS OF CONTROL FILE:
load DATA
INFILE 'load.file'
APPEND
INTO TABLE xml_table
( ext_path FILLER CHAR(13),
"XML_FIELD" LOBFILE(ext_fname) TERMINATED BY EOF

hey guys
i installed the sqlite and sqlite-net as requested in other answers i found, changed to x86, and add the .db3 file in my project.
but the problem is how to retrive the data that already in the file( i am not creating any table or data in the app, just read)
all the answer i found is to create a table first and then read the table, i tried to skip the step of creating a table, and read from the table directly, but failed with " no such table", by the way, i set the property of the .db3 file as "content",
"copy if newer"
can anyone please help? i appreciate that !

From your description, you want to read data from available sqlite file. When you add the sqlite file into your project, you need to change the sqlite file build action to content. After deploying to device, the sqlite file is located in installation folder,
you need to copy that file into storage folder before reading data. Please try the following code snippets.

How to export the data to a excel file from RSA3?

1.I am trying to save the RSA (SRM extractor) to excel spread sheet to compare SRM data with BI data. When i run the the transaction RSA3 it just showed me 10 different data packets. How to export the data to excel spread sheet for reconciliation?
2. Does any body know if the stepup tables exist for SRM extractors?

Hello Sharat,
You have two options of saving data to excel sheet:
Step 1:
Goto RSA3, change the "Data Records / Calls" to 1000 and then execute. This way instead of 10 different packets you will get one packet.
Step2:
Click on the list button, open the packet by double clicking it. You will see all the data on your screen.
Step3:
Goto System -> List -> Save - > Local File -> Spreadsheet and give some name for your xls file.

my code something like that using java reflection,
