How to switch frames using keyboard

Hi,
I'm new to Actionscript. Now using Actionscript 3.0
I have to switch next or previous frame in timeline using
keyboard. I wrote

How can I assign arrow keys to switch frames...

arrows...
Take a look at how it works and edit it so it suits your
needs.

in the preferences tab you will see keyboard, and then you can change it to be in french instead of english... and if need be you can pop out the keys and move them around to how you are used to...

Magic wand, switch contiguous using keyboard Shortcut?

When using the magic wand tool, I would like to be able to switch between contiguous and non contiguous using a keyboard shortcut, is it possible to assign a shortcut?

It looks like if I did this I would have to have an F key to tuen it on and then another f key to turn it off.
Scripting is best I think as I would be able to assign any key as opposed to F keys

Firefox: how to press button using keyboard?

In Firefox, anyone know how to choose a button on a web page without using the mouse? tabbing doesn't work.

Open up System Preferences and click on Keyboard & Mouse. Now click on the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. At the bottom of the window, choose Full Keyboard Access: All Controls. Close System Preferences. Tabbing through a page in Firefox should now stop at buttons.

How to skip words using keyboard shortcuts

Using Ctrl+Rt arrow usually skips words when typing in a free text box but FF uses that keyboard command to move through the open tabs. Is this customizable?

on the Keyboard Shortcuts page, under the Windows & Tabs section, it says that CTRL + LEFT ARROW (or RIGHT ARROW) will navigate between tabs. this means that when you are in a text box (e.g. typing an email in a web based email provider like gmail, or in the box i am typing this reply in right now) when you press CTRL + L/R ARROW it changes tabs instead of skipping words. so basically firefox is overriding ability to skip words using CTRL + L/R ARROW. this is rather annoying when typing emails using firefox. i have resorted to typing my emails in a word processor, then pasting into gmail.
is there a way to disable the CTRL + L/R ARROW shortcut in firefox? it seems redundant to even have that shortcut because CTRL + PGUP/PGDN already does this.
i did find [http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=211030 this page] on the ubuntu forums with a user experiencing the same issue. one user suggested the following (quoted below), but it didnt work for me because the setting was already set to true.

BPMON Alerts Detail Info - how to switch to use TRUSTED RFC ?

Hello Experts,
we have configured BPMON for our customer and it works fine, alerts are flowing in.
Now the users start using it and they complain about having a logon prompt popup every time the hit "Detail info" button to jump into satellite system to see alert details. It's very annoying when they need to check many alerts simultaneously.
So I investigated and found that the function is using LOGIN type RFC for the logon and it seems that SAP designed it to work this way, as SAP's own DEMO shows same thing.
Question: Is there a legitimate way to make BPMON function use TRUSTED RFC to show alert details instead of LOGIN RFC ?
By "legitimate" I mean, I know the LOGIN RFC can be "adjusted" to behave like TRUSTED, but that is not "legal" fix especially in production.
Appreciate any comments.

I assume you are using Login RFC in SolMan setup.
If you switch current RFC to Trusted RFC, if the user has Trusted RFC profile and same user exist in both system, user can use trusted connection.
Please go to transaction SolMan setup, and side bar menu managed system configuration and open managed config screen to target system. In the 3 rd step of the wizard, there is a place to configure RFC.
In case if BPMon, Read RFC is used for data collection(as of SAP TMW is used instead of READ).
And then there are 3 RFC TMW, Trusted and last one(RFC for Solution manager).
When you press the detail info button, last RFC is used. To this RFC type, you can assign RFC Login( this will ask login screen by default) or Trused RFC. I think you assin RFC login right now. That's why you have popup.
If you switch this to Trused one, Trused RFC is used.

Is there any way to reprogram a MacBook with a Japanese keyboard to English chacters?

In System Preferences>Keyboard check the box for Show Keyboard And Character Viewer In Menu Bar. Then then go the box that will appear on the Menu Bar between the sound and the battery. Select Show Keyboard Viewer. This will show you your keyboard. If you press the Shift key it will show you what letters will type when you type with the shift key. Same with the Option key.
Or you could open Text Edit and type each row of the keys and see what comes up.

i got my own answer
press the "command" then "space" button, then screen will show the international keyboard to choose. using the "space" to choose and confirm.
btw. the wireless keyboard is awesome!

How to switch off internal macbook screen when using external monitor(s)

as far as i observed, adding external displays ( running different screens on them, not mirroring) to a macbook pro increases the gpu workload and with that comes temperature rise in the laptop and increase in ventilator noise - and probably increased hardware aging and risk of component faillure due to high temperature inside the laptop.
simply try connecting two external 27" screens and open some flash video on both of them. then run a temperature monitoring software and watch temps rise, compared to running same flash videos / demanding tasks only on one connected external screen or only on the laptop screen with no external monitor connected.
especially in mavericks, due to its increased background routines, such a set-up appears ever the more taxing, then again who does not love apple`s nice adds showing laptops with two 27” screens connected to it and the workspace vision they invoke....
i have seen temps around 100° to 102° celsius on a 13" macbook pro 2012 edition, which i would expect is territory where the cpu / gpu temp safety switches will trigger system shutdown any time soon ( hardware status before verified as fully in order by apple service and default osx installation)
imagine your anti-virus software starting some realtime content screening while runnign some demanding tasks already and the system shuts down easily (all such situation observed in reality)
(would be interesting to see how a retina display macbook fares with 2 external monitors running demanding tasks, considering the retina display already increased taxing for the gpu - any experience from users of such a setup would be very much appreciated as it will provide critical purchase decision intelligence for all of us envisioning a retina-book and two big screens adoring our desks...)
turning down the macbook`s built-in screen`s backlight may reduce power consumption but i have not seen any evidence that it switches off the gpu-to-screen feed and respective gpu load - it certainly did not prevent gpu, cpu, board, etc temps to rise to borderline levels.
so the key question here is, how to switch off the macbook pro`s built-in screen in order to avoid gpu cycles being wasted on that screen ( and the resulting heat developments) when working with big external screen(s) connected to the laptop ?

with the lid open, the keyboard offers a very efficiant heat escape vector, which is blocked when the lid is closed - this is a basic and commonsense insulation effect. this thread also mentions the use of temperature monitoring software and thus a repeatable test setup. the temps recorded were also mentioned. they rose when the lid was closed, the running task remaining unchanged. as far as i could track down the cpus in discussion will shut down around the 105 degree celsius range. i observed system shut downs when the system approached 103° celsius. not to mention that the fans will run loud well before that.
again this is on hardware checked and ok-ed by apple service.
the question still welcoming an expert answer: is there any way to switch off the built-in macbook monitor while the lid is open ?

He might have inadvertently hit a keyboard shortcut for zoom: go to System Preferences -> Universal Access and see if Zoom is turned on. If so, turn it off and it should return to normal.
If that's not it, there is another possibility: go to System Preferences -> Displays and click on Display. Check to see that the highlighted resolution is the last (highest) one; that is the native resolution; if you reduce it, everything becomes larger.
