How to update a posted message or delete it
i posted a question on the forum a couple of hours ago and i need to delete it because of some typo errors etc. i have no idea how to contact the administrator etc. can someone advise?

You can't delete it. If you noticed the errors right away you could edit it but that option disappears within 2-3 minutes or so. Why not just choose "Add Reply" to it with the corrected information.
Frankly, looking at the post in question I wouldn't worry about it. It's clear enough. If you want to see bad spelling, poor punctuation, awful grammar and bad syntax just hang out in these forums for a while.

Select all your folders in Disco Administrator,ALT+ENTER to go to properties, then change the database from the default database to the remote database.

can we update input message data before the orchestration execution.
I want to add some more order line item to the input xml by calling some external webservice.
Suppose CRM submits order with 3 order line item. Now once we have that in Input message i want to add some more order line item to this input message.
I dont want to add processing/adapter layer above OSM that does the updation of the XML.

You use Order Data Rule to generate data for the creation view of the orchestration order. The source schema of the Order Data Rule is the schema for the incoming message. The output returns the <_root> portion of the creation view. Note that the Order Template already has the Sales Order (look for "order <XML>") and automatically populated by OSM Core. So, what you are trying to do is not to add/change the Sales Order itself, but to first add the desired enriching data model into Order Template, and then use Order Data Rule to populate those enriching data into the Order Template.
Example of Order Data Rule:

ArunBasically to to create a business service to send to a HTTP post all you need to do to point the business service to the desired URL.
In the OSB console you can test using the debug option. All you need to do is paste the XML you require and execute.
If this works then you know your business services is sorted. Can you confirm you can complete up to this point?
As Anuj correctly states you need to populate the body variable. This is the fundamental concept of OSB. All service calls request and respond using the body variable. So if you create a proxy service and route to the business service and provide NO routing. The proxy service will pass the input of the Proxy service to the input of the business service as the body has been populated by the Proxy service.

How to display a confirmation message before deletion

I have an application and I want to display a confirmation message before people delete a record.
The button on page 42 is number 90 "Supprimer cette fiche". It is a Submit as "DELETE_ALL". I have seen that the delete buttons are redirections to the url javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'DELETE');, but I cannot use this as my button is not a redirection, but a submit.

You can use the same logic for your own processing logic.
the syntax is...
javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'YOUR_PROCESS_NAME');Replace 'YOUR_PROCESS_NAME' with the name of your page process that handles the bulk delete. Don't for get the single-quotes either side of your process name.

Update suspends with message: Close ElementsAutoAnalyzer - How?
After installing Photoshop and Premiere 10 on a Mac I decided to do the usual update.
At about 51% of the way through installing a RAW update the error message came up:
Close the following applications: ElementsAutoAnalyzer
The question is how?
The Mac cannot fimd this file.
I would have to say at this point that installing Adobe 10 suite on a Mac from the discs
is very poor and Adobe should really adress the many problems, and soon!
I wiped Elements 8 and updated Reader 10, plus Flash for the Mac, so that everything
was ready.
Premiere 10 aborted at about 51% on four occasions! In the end I had to download the
recent copy from the web (2 hours) and then install it from there.
Before going into the updates I deleted the help program and analysis program so that
this would not interupt the updates but to no avail.
Having spent a total of 6 hours trying to install and run two programs I am not impressed.
Can anybody help with stopping the ElementsAutoAnalyzer, please.I am not sure if you are updating Photoshop or Premiere Elements 10 but I would recommend you post to their respective forums regarding your questions regarding the update.

When I sync with itunes, the photos sections says I am syncing with my iphone, so I assume that anything I physically delete from my iphone should not be showing up again. Right?

If you read this, http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4236 and this http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314 they don't actually make how sync works very clear. I had thought that syncing my device to itunes would allow I tunes to copy what was currently on my phone so that I could restore that information when needed ie if your phone dies and you need to do a clean install of the iOS system, you always have what is currently on your phone saved in Itunes.

What you seem to be saying is that iTunes saves every contact, message, photo etc and when you click sync, it reuploads things that you deleted? This seems like it should work the opposite. Make a mirror image of my iPhone on my computer, not make a mirror image of my computer onto my iPhone. You delete things for a reason.

Help! Itunes wouldn't update so I tried to delet and reinstall. I keep getting a message: The instillation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it. I also get this message: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes64.msi' in the box below. Help I have no idea what that means or how to fix it.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page). Here's a screenshot showing the particular links on the page that you should be clicking:
After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
(2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. How can I set my phone to delete messages after a certain period of time? 6 months, 1 year??? It is taking up over 4GB on my phone. I don't want to delete everything just the oldest ones.
If you update to iOS 8, you can select that in Settings>Messages>Keep Message and then select your option. If you don't update to iOS 8, you'll need to do it manually.

Thanks for your prompt reply. However, the sources you gave do not seem to apply exactly to my situation. I have attached some screenshots that show what the dialogue box looks like for a pdf download, and what my settings in the Apps panel of Options are. You will note in the first screenshot that I have checked the box to handle this file type automatically; however, the next time I try to download a file of that type, the same dialogue box appears looking exactly like the one shown, so checking the "automatic" option appears to do nothing. The files to be downloaded from my Gmail messages are not generic or altered file types - they are shown as pdf, doc, docx, etc. So while your intent was good, your post did not help. Thanks anyway. -
How to post message (or Notify) a frame?
Hi I would like to know about how to notify a frame of some event? Say I would like to do the following.
On clicking buttonA
1. disable some other buttonB.
2. Perform some lengthy operation in multiple other threads and post message saying operation completed
3. Enable buttonB on receiving the message
As the operation involves controlling multiple hardware components, which run in different threads I dont want to modify the code to enable buttonB using swingUtilities.invokelater.
I would like to know how I can post a message to the message queue of Frame (or panel) on which buttonB is present so I can process it enable buttonB.
Also how do I check for and act on the messages in message queue.
I have programmed something similar in MFC. I am not sure if something similar is possible in swing. So please let me know if this is possible. I would be thankful for any suggestions or leads.
NOTE: I use a windows 2000 system. I know I can do this by synchronizing the threads, but that creats lot of overhead in my program, whereas this asynchronous method will help.
ThankyouWell, notice that in the sample code I posted I did not pass a handle to the button to the second thread, I passed a handle to the dialog box as a whole. The enableB function is not a function of the button, but of the dialog. This technique IS sending a message to the dialog box, it is just doing it directly rather than putting it on a message queue. (If you're thinking in Windows C terms, its like "sendMessage" as opposed to "postMessage".) That enableB function could do whatever you want: it could enable six buttons, it could alter values in display fields on the window, it could read a file and connect to a web site, whatever.
So for your "generate a number" scenario, I would suggest very similar code. The "enableB" function could easily take a parameter. In HardWork we generate the number and then call enableB passing in this number. In MyDialog we accept the number and display it or whatever. Of course "enableB" is not an appropriate name for the function in such a case. In the case your describing it could just as well be named "processDone".
If the second thread is supposed to send a message to the dialog box and then continue running, presumably sending more messages in the future, there is just the slightest variation. The call to "enableB" (or whatever we call it at this point) is inside a loop instead of being the last line in the function.
Well, here's a complete (while trivial) example -- I just tried this and it really does run succesfully.
Click the "start" button and it starts up a thread that generates random numbers between 0 and 9. It disables the Start button while the thread is running. When the thread happens to generate zero, it quits, and the Start button is re-enabled. The HardWork thread communicates with the dialog purely through the "update" function -- you could put any code in there you like.
