Hi,
a) The procedure is as follows:
1. Create Depreciation area via OADB.                                                                               
2. Activate Depreciation area via OAYZ.                                                                               
3. Automatic opening of new depreciation are via AFBN and program  
   RAFABNEW :                                                                               
3.1     Indicator: Leave values initial = not ticked.           
           Do not set this indicator if you want the system        
           to copy the values from depreciation area 01.                                                                               
3.2     Indicator: Leave values initial = ticked.               
           Set this indicator if you want to open the newly created
           depreciation area without any values i.e. blank.                                                                               
4. Recalculate depreciation via AFAR and program RAAFAR00.   
b) Helpful notes:
430618 (Procedure for setting up new depreciation area)                           
301113 (Restrictions of RAFABNEW)                                                 
421549  (RAFABNEW: Error with closed fiscal years)
c) A documenttation you find if you enter RAFABNEW in SE38 and press the butto "documentation"

      The issue is relating to New Depreciation area. We have created new Depreciation area as 80=IFRS.  We had followed three steps
    1. Create Depreciation area via OADB.
    2. Activate Depreciation area via OAYZ.
    3. Automatic opening of new depreciation are via AFBN and program RAFABNEW :-
    3.1 u2013 Indicator: Leave values initial = ticked.  Set this indicator if you want to open the newly created depreciation area without any values i.e. blank.
    In this we have find that the old assets value has been copied. But when we are doing internal order settlement through KO88 i.e. from pre-cap to AUC we are not finding new Depreciation area 80=IFRS in AUC. We had checked in AW01N.
    Letu2019s assume that creating a new deprecation area is normally not required since these assets are not depreciated. But During the final settlement, the new depreciation area should also automatically supplied with values from the reference depreciation area from the AUC(assets under construction) in the completed assets. But we doesnu2019t find any values of in Dep Key = 80 IFRS for final assets.
    In Assets Class of AUC we had used  Investmnet Measure as Status of AUC.  
    Kindly provide solution for the same.

    Check Transfer Variant 5 (under Transactions->Intercompany Asset Transfers->Automatic Intercompany Asset Transfers->Define Transfer Variants):
    5     Investment measure settlement
    Your Transfer Method is most likely 1 now (without transfer to dependant areas), change it to:
    4     Gross method with transfer of values to dependent areas
    This should help.

    Hi,
    There are 2 aspect which you need to consider.
    1) For exisiting asset as  used AFBN as suggested by Srinivasa to activate the depreciation area.
    2) For new asset OAYZ configuation would populate the dep key and life.

    1.I created a new depreciation area 13( tax depreciation) . When I am executing the transaction AFBN for adding this depreciation area to all the assets, first I am getting the error message
    +/- sign rule for the new depreciation area is too restrictive
    Message no. AU 113 " and
    " Closed fiscal years for areas 01 and 13 differ by more than 1 years ".
    2. I am in 4.6C and in OAAR, for depreciation area 13 the closed fiscal year is 2002 and for all others 2007.
    3. The OSS note 421549 is already implemented.
    Any help for resolving this is highly appreciated.

    as u said the message says that the closed fiscal year for dep.area 01 and 13 is more than one year.
    and u also state that the fiscal year close for dep area 13 is 2002 and for all others is 2007.
    so first step u need to do is to close the fiscal year for dep. area 13 till 2006.
    here the functionality of AA works like it allows only 2 fiscal year to be open at the same time.. so as the dep. area 13 is open since 2003 it will give u an error..
    so please try to close all this and i m sure it will solve ur query......

    When  you get an email ids from the third party vendor and you are loading into CRM BP master data.  how to delete the duplicate email address already exits in the system.  In CRM you can create the same BP with different id.   I would like to know how to delete the email address during importing email addresses from the third party tool.
    During the campaign you are sending email to all your customers, when the customer want to unsubscibe the email address from your list, how to unsubcribe the email address and how to updat the BP master data. 
    If you are sending the email to customer, you are using html or simple text, if the customer wants only html or simple text, how you to specify in the system?

    1. I think you should clear the data with duplicate E-Mail adresses in the external tool.
    2. Unsubscription could be done by a Marketing Attribute which could be set by using a Target Group which is created by Campaign Automation. Have a look at this Toppic. There is also a Best Practice avaliable at http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/CRM_DE/index.htm.
    3. Also HTML or Simple text can be mained in a Marketing Attribute. You have to use different Mail Forms to which are sent to different Target groups.

    I have chosen the screen layout and review all Logical Field Groups. And there's no field "Functional Location" is available. I also didn't find "Add New" button to add "Functional Location" field.

    I am sorry this is not possible.
    Note 140482:
    The field was created as a precaution. However, it is not being used at 
    present and consequently is not supplied.                               
    In particular, you cannot use the field as a criterion for a selection  
    in Asset Accounting reporting. This is still true even if this field has
    been included in the selection view delivered for the dynamic selections
    by modification.

    First of all the Tempro alert is only a notification that a new update is available but this doesnt mean that you HAVE TO update it.
    If you have no problems with your notebook and software then I would not update anything.
    I follow always this recommendation; never change a running system ;)
    However, I presume you need to remove the old version before the new could be installed.
    You could remove the tool from the Software area which can be found in control panel.
    But as I said; its not necessary if everything is ok.

    I need to create a campaign in CRM through program. For the same I have created it using the below:
    1. create a Profle set using "'BAPI_PROFILESET_CREATE' with the appropriate "segmenttype".
    2. create a target group using " BAPI_TARGETGROUP_CREATE" based on the Profileset guid.
    3. assign Target group to Market element calling the FM"MKTPL_TGGR_ASSIGN_CREATE".
    I need to assign the pricing amount , sales area data and the product to the campaign. Could you let me know the name of a Bapi/FM to update the same.

    Though Lakshmi suggested you the right option, it may not be carried out for Sales Documents in random and will be much suited for Sales Documents with continuous sequence like 00010, 00011, 00012, 00013, etc.
    If you want to New Pricing to be carried out for Specific Lists of documents like 00010, 00017, 00043, 00057, etc, then you can do by following option:
    Go to Transaction "MASS", Select the Table - VBAK and Field - PRSTD and proceed by entering the Sales Documents Lists to carry out New Pricing.

    Hi Dev,
    Go to the change/display mode of the info object (0CUSTOMER) in your case. Go to the Master data/Text tab. Here you will find the master data tables according to your settings (P orQ or X or Y). Double click on the table name and it will take you to the SE11 display. From there, you can check the number of records as you do in any transparent table.
