How to upload the image after Cropping or rotation
i have developed the applet for image rotation and cropping at the client side.i am able to do the all operation at client side but my problem is to how upload those file to server.please any one help me regarding this issue because i am new to java technology
here by i posted my html page.here what actualy happening is first user selects the number of image to be upload.then i will create that much applet.here user will clicks on applet to select the image then he will do the all the operation.then user will clicks on submit to subit the image.here hidPath contains path information about the image but not the file ex (d:\image\image.jpg).if i submit this hidden variable to server i cannot get the file but i will get only the path info.but i know if i use <input type=file> then i can upload this image without any problem.so please go through this code and send me what all the necessary changes i have to make

If it is on request only, then your buffer should be cleared each time you do a read (assuming you told the VISA Read to grab enough data). If your instrument is constantly sending data, then you need a second loop that does nothing but read and parse the data coming in.

In the thread I just referred to, I already provided information about the HTMLB upload control. With this at hand, you'll get the file from the client to the server.
At server side, get an ICollection instance where you want to store the file and create the corresponding resource. Need to Upload the image into XMII server from a desktop

Can anyone let me know how to upload the image from my laptop on to the server which i should be using in my pages. I tried using Image Loader and Image Saver. But it lead me no where. Is there a detailed documentation for this ?

Could you give some details on what you are trying to achieve.
Is this a use case scenario where images need to be uploaded by a handful of people using some web UI?
or
Is this a use case scenario where you wish to upload images from the harddrive of absolutely any user?
The reason for my questions is as follows.
If you wish to allow some high-level (technically savvy) users the ability to upload images to be shown in dynamic content for remainder of the public, you could, in theory, set up a network directory that xMII is able to see. These High-Level users could drop their images in the folder and specify the path in a text box.
You could go one step further and use Get Folder List action from within an Xacute transaction and display the list of images in this folder on a web UI. Users could pick the image from the list and "Bob's your Uncle!".

I have a requirement in the sense, soon after i login into the application with the username and password....
I will be having an file browse item, in which i need only to upload the images, soon after selecting the picture and if i give upload means, the picture has to populate immediately above the browse item in the front end itself......
How to achieve it friends, i dont have idea in uploading the images in the front end itself......
for example: suppose if i want my photo to keep in the front end Soon after i login into the application means, i will select my picture from the file browse item and immediately after giving upload button, i has to come above the browse field in the front end itself.........
Inorder for getting the image in the front, whether i need to create a separate region where the image has to come soon after given the upload button....
help me friends, how to achieve it from the scratch........

i upload the image from C:\image\center.gif. i use request.getParameter just can get the image name like "center.gif". Can anybody help me how to get the full path name. Thanks a lot..There is no need to get the path. It is also fairly pointless as the server cannot access the client's local file system.

Just go back in photoshop and use the Slice Select tool, then just click and select the slice and hit delete - if you're not sure which one is the active slice just right click and find the one that has the Delete Slice option.
It's possible you either added the slices by accident or if you received it from someone they just had the slices hidden. For the future, you can go to View > Show > Slices to display (or hide) slices. -
FIgured out how to overlay an image. But now the image is cropped!!!
OK, so I have a person speaking and want to go to an image as he speaks. I figured out how to do it with an overlay, but now the image is cropped. I want it to show the whole thing, with bars for the side if it doesn't fit perfectly.
I think this can be done easily if the image is plopped in. But as an overlay, I can't figure out what to do. I go to project properties and tried all different options, such as "crop", "full size", "ken burns", but it doesn't make any difference. It always displays exactly the same, with the top and bottom cut off.
Help!!!The path to open the Library window is now Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks. That was changed several versions ago, maybe in Firefox 4?

How to get the image stored in archieve link as an attachment in work item.
Hi All,
through transaction OAWD we are storing scanned images.
Once this transaction is executed a workitem appears in the inbox of the initiator with the scanned invoice as attachment.
When the user executes the work item FV60 screen is displayed where the user enters the data based on the scanned invoice attachment.
After the user Parks the document the custom workflow triggers and a workitem appears in the inbox of an approver.
Our requirement is that the scanned image should also appear as the attachment.
Can you please suggest how to get the image stored in archieve link as an attachment in work item.

I need to create a link under objects and attachments in the work item, such that when the user clicks that link the image is displayed.
At present the following functionality is available.
The BO used is FIPP
Objects and attachments:
parkeddocument:AK0108500001252008.(via FIPP binding with WIOBJECT_ID)
On clicking the link below objects and attachments: the parked document AK0108500001252008 opens in display mode.
Now we want to have 2 links:
parkeddocument:AK0108500001252008.
image.
When we click on the link image then the scanned invoice linked to the document should get opened.
I am able to get the image id of the the image through SAP_WAPI_GET__OBJECTS,
export parameter leading_object provides the detail.
But I am not able to figure out how to use it in my workflow to display it as an attachment.
Hope this will give a better understanding of my question.
