How to use my QT Pro info when re-installing QT

I bought QT pro in July 05 - in hopes to fix a problem I was having with QT 7. It didn't fix it and I had to uninstall QT and reinstall. I reinstalled 6 - and left it at that afraid that QT7 would give me the same problems. Now I want to update to Pro 7 - does anyone know how I can now use my access key again. The only way into Pro looks like re purchasing.

Since installing Tiger, and having the unpleasant surprise so many others have had, in that my QT 6 Pro features were gone, I've seen much reference to this trick of using the old QT 6 Player under QT 7 in Tiger. But it doesn't work for me! I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I still only get the short menus and no Pro options when using the old player.
I even rebooted into 10.3.9, entered my registration code for 6, and received the extra features in the QT 6 player (after restarting it). I copied the player into my new, Tiger "applications" folder under a slightly altered name, then rebooted with much anticipation.
Back in Tiger... it was the same old story! My pro player magically was reduced to a basic player.
In a word... aRrrgggGGh!
You know, I happily used the ancient "MoviePlayer" for years for the same reason - it maintained the features that were "Pro Only" in the more current versions. Why has this trick stopped working?

It is unclear where you are having a problem. Is your issue at runtime (when the form runs in the browser) or when working in the Builder on the form?
Also be aware that you will need to sign your jar and include some new manifest entries. Refer to the Java 7u51 documentation and blogs that discuss the changes.

Within this iterator, I want to make a decision absed on the index of the iterator. To do this test, I am using jstl as follows

This test is however always evaluating to false. I have tried cahnging my code using various combiantion as below ...
<c:when test="#{vs.index == '0' or vs.index == '2' or vs.index == '4'}">
<c:when test="${vs.index == 0 or vs.index == 2 or vs.index == 4}">
<c:when test="${vs.index == '0' || vs.index == '2' || vs.index == '4'}">
But nothign seems to be working fine.

It is just as the message says. Your video card is not compatible.
You can add a compatible graphics card and use FCP X with your mac. I can't suggest which one, but maybe other people on this forum can guide.
And you may also get good suggestions in the Mac Pro forum.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I need to make a master DVD that can then be duplicated in bulk as a single layer disc. This surprises me because I tried burning a different DVD project that has worked in the past which is also 4.5 GB and now I could not burn that either. I also reencoded some material to get the new project down to 4.4 GB but it still would not burn. Any ideas are appreciated.

I want to use Final Cut Pro on a clean user account. How do I set it up? How can I access my old FCP library and still work on it from multiple users?
Also, I want my DropBox account to back-up my media. Any tips?

I use external drives as backup. But I don't trust them. And in case of fire or what ever...It is of no use...
But I agree on your comment about DropBox. It would have been the perfect solution though.

I have a 2TB HD but these projects are huge and still growing - so I have to move my projects to several external drives. So maybe I should just work directly from external drives and skip the partition of the computers main drive? I am thinking of the disadvantage of reducing the total storage of the disk.

I'm using a PL/SQL package with an Oracle 11G database to send mails. It works fine but instead of use of my mail in "From" field like "[email protected]" as sender E-mail address, I would like to have "Toto" in the sender address. I tryied to use utl_smtp.mail(l_connection, '<toto> [email protected]') but it doesn't work. The only way I can send mail is when I set utl_smtp.mail(l_connection, '<[email protected]>') directly. When I use the Alias, I have an error from smtp server telling that I use a bad syntax address.
Does someone know how to use the alias ? Where do I do a mistake ?

I use Acrobat X1 Pro. When I launch it I get these pop up about buying or trying DC. I pressed the privacy link to stop it, but it hasn't. It says Acrobat Application Manger. It literally overrides launching Acrobat x1. I use a macbook pro with yosemite.

Last time I launched the software, I got this Abrobat Application Manager poping up and overriding the Acrobat launch asking to buy or try Acrobat DC. I can't make it go away, even when I press the privacy link. Please don't tell me this is some malware bug. Should I uninstall the current AX1Pro and reinstall it. This is very frustrating.

How to use Final Cut pro with external hard drive?

I have too little space on my computer so I have to use final cut pro x with an external hard drive, but whenever I have the hard drive plugged in and Final cut going, my computer goes very slow. I just upgraded to 16gb ram... but can't seem to run FCP x while an external hard drive is plugged in. FCP just freezes up and I have to force quit.

You don't need to "delete everything". Rather, you first figure out what needs to be moved. You copy those files to the other drive and then verify that all the files you copied are in two locations. At that point you can delete those files from your boot drive.
