How to use page loading.htm of standard BSP htmlb_samples .

Hi All,
I am calling an RFC in the OnCreate event of one BSP page , so it takes a bit longer to load and a blank page is shown till the layout is executed.
I would like like to show Loading.... effect page , instead of the blank page , till the main page layout is executed.
I read in a [thread|Loading Message] that we can use the loading.htm page of htmlb_samples application for this.
I tried as described in this thread , but after the loading page the application dosent navigates to the main page.
So how to navigate from loading page to Main page of application?
Any other ideas for showing Loading effect page will also help.

From 1st veiw(Initial page) navigate it to the intermediate(Loading.htm) page then from this page navigate it to the second view(Main.htm).
In the intermeidate page you can use javascript and navigate it to the second page(Main.htm).
In a function of javascript put the code of re-directing Url and call this function in the onload event of the body tag in html.
window.location("url").
What happens is when the loading page gets called then, it will inturn call the main.htm page. So till the main.htm page comes the loading icon will be displayed.

For example, if I am downloading a paper by smith called "Surgery" that was published in 2002, it will automatically set the file name in the download to smith- surgery 2002. I have heard pages is smart enough to do this.

Pages can export only its own documents. They may be exported as PDF, MS Word, RTF or Text files.
Pages can import (ie. Open a file as, or Insert a file into, a Pages document) documents in several formats, but won't rename the document as you describe. Documents that can be Opened (eg. Text, AppleWorks 6 WP, MS Word files) are converted to Pages documents, and retain their original names, with .pages replacing the original file extension. Files that can be Inserted (generally .jpg, .pdf and other image files) become part of the existing Pages file and lose their names.
It may be possible, using AppleScript, to extract the text you want and to Save a Pages file using that text as the filename, but that would depend in part on being able to identify which text is wanted and which is not.
How will the script determine where the author's name begins and where it ends?
How will the script recognize the beginning and of the title, an decide how much of the title to use in the filename?
How will the script recognize the year of publication?
For papers published in a specific journal, with a strict format for placing each of these pieces on information, or containing the needed information as searchable meta data in the file, this might be possible. But it would require knowledge of the structure of these files, and would probably handle only papers published in a specific journal or set of journals.
Outside my field of knowledge, but there are some talented scripters around here who might want to take a closer look.

How to use Outline Load Utility with local encoding names of dimensions?

Hi,
I'd like to load metadata (dimensions members) to Planning classic application via Outline Load Utility.
Target dimension name has been set in local encoding (cyrillic).
After execution my batch file I get error that unable to find specified load dimension "????" in target application.
Batch file has been created to start OutlineLoad in ANSI encoding:
cd C:\Hyperion\products\Planning\bin

How to use SQL*loader in oracle9i???

I have installed oracle9i, and want to use sql*loader to load text data into table.
However, I can not find a tool called SQL*loader anywhere on the manu.
It will be appreciated if some experts can give me an advice where I can find it, and how to use it to load text data.

When I go to tahiti.oracle.com and search on "external table", I get dozens of hits that explain how to create an external table and give numerous examples. If you have specific questions, I'd be happy to try to go into more detail. A generic SQL*Loader guide, however, would be well bayond the scope of this forum.

How to use SQL*LOADER to read data in |SMITH|ALFRED| format

the data I need to upload to table using SQL*LOADER is in format as below:

|GB |England        |so how should I write my control file to read the data into two columns table?
I googled and people say that use Enclosed fields—delimiter (|), and I tried with below, but not working:

Problem solved, by removing the NLS_LANG=ENGLISH.

I am trying to use sqlldr to load an XML file into a table with an XMLType column. I have found plenty of examples where the entire table is an xmltype, but I would like to load many XML objects into a generic table for processing with one XMLType column and many other columns to identify the load. As a simple example, I have one constant column which I want to set during the upload.
The following example does not work :(. No errors either.
create table xml_upload

First you need to import the WD application to your NWDS and then you need to checkout the code for making any changes after making the chanhes you have to checkin the code.
First you need to setup the portal path in
1. WIndow->Preferences->Java Development Infrastructure->development Configurations.
2. You have to create a client in DTR by going into DTR Perspective.
3. Import the configuration from the track (this is your standard WD application) in Development Configurations Perspective.
4. Create the project from Inactive DCs tab.
5. Navigate to WD Perspective and build the project.
6. Check out the code to make chnages
7. Checkin the code after making the changes
8. Test the application in Portal

What I want to use this groups to restrict the access of some users to some pages that I don’t want them to see, that’s is why I want to create these groups…
So the question will be, which one is the difference between page groups and groups of users, if there is one… as I understand page groups “groups” pages that are assigned to a cluster of pages, but do not restricts user access… and groups of users, says which user that belongs to a specific user group.
As I mentioned before I think I am mixing concepts, and what I really want to do is to restrict the access of some users (that are assigned to a group) and to let some other user group go to every page on the application.
I will appreciate if you can help me out with this.

ITunes 8: How to Disable Page Load Sound Effect on Vista

I tried looking around the site for some answers to get rid of the annoying sound effect after a page loads in iTunes 8 on Windows Vista, but didn't see any. After looking in Vista and playing around with some settings, I have found the answer!
Vista users:
1. Right click on your desktop, and then go all the way down and click "Personalize"
2. Click "Sounds"
3. Scroll down until you see the iTunes category.
4. Click the "Page load complete" sound and then change the sound (bottom left of the window) to (None).
Annoying sound DISABLED.

Dear Ashok,
You can create "Z" copies of both controller and View page in the standard BSP application itself and not by taking the "Z" copy of whole application, by right clicking on the standard application and click on "Create".
You can design design your own page.

The plugins don't appear to be loaded when I start the program. The "about adobe plugins" optoin in the "help" menu indicates the plugins are not loaded and when I "generate a system report..." from within the "onlline support..." option in the "help" menu none of the plugins are loaded. What am I doing wrong here?
