I have 1.3, 1.5, and 1.6 installed here. You can install them wherever you like, and use the %JAVA_HOME% system variable to point your tool(s) to the desired one that you wish to use.

  • Using BOM's in a Retail System with Value only articles

    Hi
I have a few questions that i would appreciate some assistance on.
Background : I am trying to setup BOMs with articles that are assigned to a Value only Merchandise Cat Article. The BOM process does not allow such an article because the articles are not listed in the Site.
I have setup a Merchandise Hierarchy and assigned a Mercchandise cat group for one of the levels as I want to do Retail costing at department level for the specific group of articles in the specific MC. I have therefore assigned a Value only MC article to that level.
I have updated the Site with the corresponding indicator for the MC to be managed at group level.
All articles in the MC group (value only), are not updated in MARC and hence the error when trying to include this in a BOM.creation CS01
How do i get around this?
I am able to create Sales sets for the finished article and assign the value only articles to this Sales Set article in transaction MM41. What would be the limitations in using this function instead of BOM?
Are there any issues to consider by using BOMs or Sales sets?
The objective is to handle components on an department valuation basis and not on a stock count level hence the MC valua only article.
Please send me any feedback or experiences you may have on this.
    Thanks!
    Pat Pillay

Just wondering if you came up with anything.
My macbook doesn't even have a firewire input, but it does have an ethernet input.
I'll probably need something faster than the USB being that I want to record live drums while listening to other tracks at the same time. You're not the first I've heard mention that ethernet is even faster than firewire.
    Thanks

  • How to use the memory efficiently in SAP systems?

    Hi All,
We are using  suse linux X86_64 bit OS
All the instances are present in distributed environment. Eg we have one DB,1 ASCS(Message server and Enqueue), 1 PAS and 1 AAS
In CRM there are 100 end users are there.
Database is also 64 bit (Oracle)
    Ram size is 32 GB.
    CPU is:4
    Theoretically I know that the
RAM:Virtual memory should be 1:2 ratio
How to find the Virtual memory size in the existing system If it is a freshly installed means then how can we estimate it?
How to find the SWAP size allocated in the existing system If it is a freshly installed means then how can we estimate it?
How to find the size of virtual memory is allocated for the live SAP system and DB? And explain how to calculate if it is a freshly migrated system?
How to find the size of RAM is assigned to SAP and the same for DB?
If anything is increased in sap level like work process why should we need to increase the process and sessions in oracle and how?
Kindly help to me to find the solution for this questions?
    Thanks,

  • How to use Time Machine to do a system restore after clean install of mavericks

Hi I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro 15" ... I updated from mountain lion to mavericks and was having issues with mavericks running slow. Took it to Apple today and they were great with helping me upgrade the RAM to the max (8GB DDR3) ... I asked them to do a clean install of Mavericks as well. I have Time Machine backups that I would like to use to restore to my previous settings but I can't seem to figure out what to do.... When I enter Time Machine and I try and select a past date, it doesn't let me choose a date to "restore" ... What am I doing wrong? Please walk me through it thanks!

Use Migration Assistant to migrate your previous account from the Time Machine backup. Migration Assistant is in your Utilities folder.
Read: OS X: How to migrate data from another Mac using Mavericks
When doing so, select your previous User account but do not migrate "Applications", "Computer and Network Settings" or "Other files and folders". De-select those choices. Subsequent to using Migration Assistant, you will need to reinstall any essential software you may require.
"Essential software" means programs that have been verified by their developers to be compatible with Mavericks, and specifically excludes junk such as "cleaners", "boosters", "optimizers", or ill-conceived "anti-virus" garbage. Install that essential software from original sources such as the App Store, developer's websites, or original optical media, and not from untrustworthy download aggregator hosting sites such as C net dot com, Mac update dot com, etc, and not from backups that may have been corrupted.
Be aware that if you already created an account with the same name as the one you want to migrate, Migration Assistant will offer to rename the account it's about to create. In other words if you're already logged in as "Tara", and you want to migrate the account named Tara from the Time Machine backup, it will offer to name the migrated account Tara1. Migration Assistant will tell you what it's going to do, but the warning is easy to overlook. Therefore you might consider creating another, temporary account with Administrator privileges, and deleting the one you created subsequent to erasing your Mac and installing Mavericks.
For those instructions read: OS X Mavericks: Set up users on your Mac. Follow the instructions under "Add a user". Be sure to select “Allow user to administer this computer.”
Log in under that temporary account, then use Migration Assistant. Confirm everything works as you expect, then you can delete the temporary account.

  • How to use varaibke manager option at RPD in obiee 10g

    Hi
At RPD level , can anyone please help on uderstanding how to use the variable manager.
    thank you

    Hi,
    System session variables:
System session variables have reserved names, that cannot be used for other kinds of variables (such as static or dynamic repository variables and non-system session variables).
    e.x:
    1)
if u want to get and display user login ID,group,timezone...Date and time...etc... can be done by using session variable
    2) Exteranl application integration ( java -jsp) by using go url.
here u can specify the session variable and it will passed into Java apps.
    3) setting log level by using session varaible
    4) u can use it report tittle/header..etc

  • How can I use Pages 4.3 (from Retail pack) template on Pages 5.2 (from Mac App Store)?

This is a new machine running on Mavericks bought last year since my old Mac had a hard-drive failure. Installed Pages (part of iWork '09 package), updated to Pages 5.0 from the Mac App Store and no issues. However, now I need to use some of the old Pages template (San Fancisco Letter to be specific) and the new Pages dosn't have that.
So I had to extract the San Fancisco template from Pages '09 and tried installing under 'My Template' on Pages 5.3. But evertime I'm getting an error while installing. That's when I realised after going through the discussions here, that I can't install a Pages '09 template on Pages 5.3.
So my question is how to use a Pages 4.0 template on Pages 5.3? Is it possible to install Pages 4.3 while Pages 5.2 is still installed? Is there a workaround?
Note: I don't need Pages 4.3 but would like to use some of the templates from there, working on Pages 5.2.
    Thanks in advance - Sid

Due to the huge number of missing features in v5.2 that were functional in Pages ’09 v4.3, many of the older version templates expect features/functionality that simply do not exist in v5.2. You should realize that Pages v5 is a brand new application/design, and not a progressive version enhancement to Pages ’09.
When you updated to Pages v5, that process automatically moved Pages ’09 v4.3 into /Applications/iWork '09. You can continue to use the older Pages (and associated custom templates) on Mavericks.
I would resist removing Pages ’09 from your machine, as it is functionally superior to Pages v5.
Templates that you save with Pages ’09 v4.3 are kept in ~/Library/Application Support/iWork/Pages/Templates/My Templates
Templates that you save with Pages v5+ are kept in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iWork.Pages/Data/Library/Application Support/User Templates
One of the things that I noticed about the original Pages v5 installation is that it transferred a small subset of My Templates from Pages ’09 into the above User Templates location. These were relative simple templates. The complicated ones did not migrate.
Be certain to make a backup copy of any Pages ’09 template document. Once you open it in Pages v5+, it can no longer be opened in the older Pages application. Providing the template is compatible with Pages v5+, perform a File > Save as Template... to the default location.

    Thank you.
And another question if the data is already there in the child table if i try to load alone it must delete the old data in the child tablee and need to get load the new data and
    How to do this ?
    Arunraj Kumar
You can do that with an IF EXISTS condition
    IF EXISTS (SELECT 1
    FROM YourChildTable c
    INNER JOIn @temptable t
    ON c.Bkey1 = t.Bkey1
    AND c.Bkey2 = t.Bkey2
    DELETE t
    FROM YourChildTable c
    INNER JOIn @temptable t
    ON c.Bkey1 = t.Bkey1
    AND c.Bkey2 = t.Bkey2
    INSERT INTO YourChildTable
where Bkey1,Bkey2 etc forms the business key of the table

We have a corporate iPad in our auto showroom to show guests how to use features on their vehicles. Someone locked it with their account. It was not an employee. How can I get in? I did a restore of the software already?

Gather up the proof that the dealership is the original purchaser of the iPad,
and take the iPad & that proof to a physical Apple store for possible assistance.
It is highly suggested that you make a genius bar appointment to avoid delay
    at the store:
    Make a Genius Bar Reservation
    http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
If no Apple store close by, get the information mentioned above and contact
    Apple Contact Us for assistance.
Once the problem is resolved, you may wish it use Guided Access to limit
what customers can do with the iPad.
