How to use SDK (IAC, Javascript ...) to open a policy protected file

How can I use SDK (no matter Javascript or VB.NET or C#) to open a Rights Management protected file? I found that there is no method for me to pass the username and password.

That is correct - there is no way to pass the username/password to the opening of the file. This is done explicitly to avoid potential security holes.

You need to develop a (eventually small) application (= Add-On) which uses the SDK to do what you need it to do + is packaged and installed like e.g. any SAP Add-On.
It should then just watch out for the "right" events which are propagated from the SAP Business One application through UI API (an interface in the SDK) to "interested" Add-On(s)...

You can use vb coding in BEx Analyser to calculate your unit price. For this you have to first display the attributes of your object "XYZ". Then you can use VB cosing to calculate the value for the unit price field.
One more thing cna you clarify whether is it display attribute or variable ?

Reader 9.0, 9.1, 9.1.2 blue screening when opening multiple PW protected files

I have a user, using MSOffice 2k3, who get a blue screen when opening multiple password protected files thru Outlook. The error suggests to update the BIOS, which has been done. This occurrs in all 3 versions of Reader 9. It specifically occurrs AFTER he inputs the password in the PW box. It does not matter which file he opens 1st. Any assistance would be appreciated.

No, you are wrong (Gene & Mike). First, the forms, at least my forms, have NOT been edited since being created in designer. They were created and saved directly to flash. Second, this issue has been posted on the acrobat forum as well as the life cycle designer forum and both thread were ended with adobe expert posts saying it was an adobe reader issue and to post here.
I have experimented more with this issue and it seems to be a 'trusted identity' issue within reader, but I have not wholely figured it out yet. My forms work on Reader, 7, 8, and 9. They work on all versions of 7 and 8 regardless of what the form was optimized for (my forms were optimized for 9 and higher). The only trouble is on 9.0. I have found that when updating on client machines, reader gives a prompt (sometimes) that says reader has found a set of trusted identities from a previous version, would you like to use these identies or create a new set of identities. If you choose to keep the existing trusted identies set, the form works, even when upgraded to reader 9.0
Not trying to be argumentative (Mike and Gene) but the 'experts' bail on this issue by telling people it's a reader problem and to post here.

Example on how to use the NI "saving a front panel img to file" on a prog.

New to the labview program - I'm trying to save the front panel of the displayed output to file. I downloaded "Panel_Image_to_File.zip" from the NI site. But I'm having problem using the code to our program so as to save the image as a jpeg.
A simple example on how to use the code or any other code that will be able to save the front panel to a specified folder will be great.

All you should need is an invoke node of VI class and the the method Get Panel Image. Wire the Image Data output to the Write JPEG File on the Graphics & Sound>Graphics Formats palette. The Invoke Node is on the application Control palette. When it's on the diagram, right click and select Class>VI Server>VI. Right click on it again and select Methods>Get Panel Image.

Can not open a password protected file from OSX2.8 in OSX4.x

I have a few files that I password protected in OSX2.8 that will not open now in OSX 4.6. The are not part of the vault type protection. It seems that the feature of individually password protecting files in the earlier OSX system do not open, nor give the option to even give the password. In the get info window there is no option to change or type in the password. The password is not related to the administrator password and it seems that it was a feature that did not follow through to the later OSX version. The only alternative I can think of is to install OSX 2 on an external and hope it gives me the option.
Does anyone know how to deal with this type of individually protected file in OSX 4.6? I have tried the vault, and the get info, but nothing seems to work to even give me the option to enter a password for an individual file. They are jpeg, and QuickTime, and Photoshop .psd files.
Any ideas?

Hi! I want to know if it exist a way to use the mailForm method (this is javascript) in adobe reader 9.3?
Or, are there any equivalent method? I want to send by email a FDF with my PDF.
When I run my javascript, I got the following error: "NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.

How to use CR Viewer 2008 to open a report created in CR 2008?

I have CR Developer 2008 version 12.0.0.683 that I am using to create a report whose data source is through the iHistorian OLE DB connector. I can preview the report in the Developer, but as soon as I use Crystal Reports viewer 2008 (12.2.0.r325)to open the report, I get the following error: "An error occured trying to load the report: The field size is not allowed to be negative:
"-1".-----Error code:-2147215356 Error code n".
CR viewer 2008 is able to open the samples reports, but not the report I create.
Any help would be appreciated

I am not using a .NET application. I not using Visual Basic either. I just have Proficy Historian 3.1 collecting data from an iFix tag, and i am reading that data into CR 2008 designer.
I think that the viewer is unable some how to connect to my server with the iHistorian OLE DB. I tried adding the server in the viewer "server configuration" but no luck. I was able to view the report I created on crystalreports.com. So i believe that the problem is with Crystal reports viewer 2008 connecting to my data source server.
