Hp 8500a PLUS EPRINT FAX QUERY _ IS IT POSSIBLE TO REPRINT FAXES THAT YOU SEE ON THE EPRINT LOG

hi there
my friend and I have the same printer - his printer is at the hotel where he receives his bookings via FAX from a company - now and then the printer plays up - and when  it is restarted the printer will  EMAIL him all the FAXES to his email address that came through - he can see a LOG of his FAXES on his EPRINT - our question is this - is there anyway to REPRINT faxes say over the last 24 hour period - is there any way the printer stores faxes locally or on eprint - if not is there any software method so it can store backup faxes on a usb memory stick or DROPBOX, evernote - is there an HP print APP or a feature to solve such a problem?
This question was solved.

Sorry, but you will not be able to print a FAX out from E-print. Also there is no way to re-print fax that already came through before. You can print a confirmation page. Which consist of the times and the numbers you sent them to.

    Hi,
Most likely your printer does not support AirPrint. But please check to see if your printer in the list:

If YES, you can use this to fix

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus - Magenta Not Printing

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus (A910), Model number CM756A, Serial number: [Moderator edited Serial Number] that is not printing magenta.
Firmware version: LRP1FN1231AR. Service ID 21057. IK Number 658.
Software version: 028.000.1315.000. Printer Driver version: 09.84.00.1189
The Printhead Status for all cartridges reports as "Good" in the Self Test Diagnostic Page.
I have run a Print Quality Diagnostics and in Test Pattern 2 there is no red/magenta colored block appearing.
I did not have any alert for low print quantity, however I replaced the Magenta inkcartridge with an HP Officejet 940XL new magenta ink cartridge (HP genuine) and still there is no Magenta printing.
When I open the ink cartridge holder, the printer shows HP Model: A910g, HP Ink Cartridge 940.
I have gone through this exercise several times, however the latest Magenta ink cartridge that I removed from the printer prior to replacing had the following information on it:  C4908A, 2016/05/22.  The newest cartridge I put in has a September 2017 expiration date (part number C4908A).
I am not getting any error messages or anything, there is just no Magenta being printed.
First - I would like to know how to fix this issue with the HP printer.
Second - is there anyway to get a refund for the ink cartridges I have had to use (and waste) trying to resolve this problem.
    Thank you.

  • HP Printers - 8000 Pro and Pro 8500A Plus all in one wireless setups

First, six weeks of customer support has not been able to get my 8500A Plus all-in-one install on my XP Pro SP3 laptop.  I've uninstalled the printer using HP's utility, the Control Panel and still can't install it wireless to this laptop. I am about to attempt an Ethernet connection, but have little to no confidence in it's success. The support has been terrible - repeating the same steps over and over, promising call backs and never calling back, promising escalation and always talking to a level 1 support person that repeats the exact same steps, and promises to solve the problem.  The last person couldn't figure out how to shut off the wireless feature on the printer - it hung every time I did what he told me too.  I also get periodic "crashes" white screens on the printer's display and all of the lights flashing.
Anyone have a suggestion?  HP want to replace this printer?
Second, since I've had so much trouble with the 8500, the uninstallation process uninstalled the 8000 Pro I had on my network, wireless and working.  Now, the installation of the 8000 Pro has failed three times.  I'm attempting a USB installation with hopes to switch to wireless, but the process (at around 33% of step 3 of 4) is taking hours!  What gives?
Any suggestions?  I surely don't want to call HP Customer Care for support, and waste another six weeks on a second printer.

  • Printing through the eprint center

I have a 8500A plus and can't seem to figure out how to get the attachment to print when an email is sent to it from the eprint center.

    Hi mattinkent,
You can use the HP ePrint Home & Biz app found HERE. This app will allow you to change the paper size on the fly, so you can print the photo on A4, bypassing the need to preload the 4x6.
First, you'll want to create an ePrint account HERE. Then, enable ePrint on your printer and register the printer with your ePrint account. Click HERE for guide on setting up ePrint on your printer.
Lastly, you'll want to add the printer to your HP ePrint Home & Biz app.
Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

  • Can you see ink levels from Eprint center for the OfficeJet 7500A/E910

Can You monitor ink levels from eprint center for the OfficeJet 7500A/E910?
    This question was solved.

    Hello Raimonds,
To answer your question, you are not able to check your ink levels from ePrint Center. The only thing that you can do in ePrint Center is monitor the status of your recent print jobs that you send via ePrint and monitor the status of connection of your printer to the ePrint Servers.

  • SQL 2012 SP1 - How to determine a query that causes Error 8623 in SQL Log: The query processor ran out of internal resources and could not produce a query plan. This is a rare event...

We are getting multiple 8623 Errors in SQL Log while running Vendor's software.
How can you catch which Query causes the error?
I tried to catch it using SQL Profiler Trace but it doesn't show which Query/Sp is the one causing an error.
I also tried to use Extended Event session to catch it, but it doesn't create any output either.
    Error:
The query processor ran out of internal resources and could not produce a query plan. This is a rare event and only expected for extremely complex queries or queries that
reference a very large number of tables or partitions. Please simplify the query. If you believe you have received this message in error, contact Customer Support Services for more information.
    Extended Event Session that I used;
    CREATE EVENT SESSION
        overly_complex_queries
    ON SERVER
    ADD EVENT sqlserver.error_reported
        ACTION (sqlserver.sql_text, sqlserver.tsql_stack, sqlserver.database_id, sqlserver.username)
        WHERE ([severity] = 16
    AND [error_number] = 8623)
    ADD TARGET package0.asynchronous_file_target
    (SET filename = 'E:\SQLServer2012\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\XE\overly_complex_queries.xel' ,
        metadatafile = 'E:\SQLServer2012\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\XE\overly_complex_queries.xem',

    WITH (MAX_DISPATCH_LATENCY = 5SECONDS)
    GO
    -- Start the session
    ALTER EVENT SESSION overly_complex_queries
        ON SERVER STATE = START
    GO
It creates only .xel file, but not .xem
    Any help/advice is greatly appreciated

    Hi VK_DBA,
According to your error message, about which query statement may fail with error message 8623, as other post, you can use trace flag 4102 & 4118 for overcoming this error. Another way is looking for queries with very long IN lists, a large number of
UNIONs, or a large number of nested sub-queries. These are the most common causes of this particular error message.
The error 8623 occurs when attempting to select records through a query with a large number of entries in the "IN" clause (> 10,000). For avoiding this error, I suggest that you could apply the latest Cumulative Updates media for SQL Server 2012 Service
Pack 1, then simplify the query. You may try divide and conquer approach to get part of the query working (as temp table) and then add extra joins / conditions. Or You could try to run the query using the hint option (force order), option (hash join), option
(merge join) with a plan guide.
For more information about error 8623, you can review the following article.

  • Printing using the ePrint Center...can't possibly be this limited?

Hi, I've just installed an Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One and am trying to get the ePrint Center to work...
Any image files I email are rejected by my printer. It spits out a blank page and then tells me the paper size is wrong, with no other option but to cancel the whole job.
I see you can only send images above 100dpi - which is kind of dumb as most images you pull off the web are 72dpi and there's a 5mb limit so you can't print many 300dpi images either but hey - but when it says you can only print to 4x6, does that mean it won't print out on A4 at all?
Surely this can't be right? That I'd have to - in advance - replace the A4 paper with 4x6 photo paper before I leave the house, just in case I want to print an image while I'm out by email is weird enough...rather negating the convenience of the whole shabang...but I'd have to print only 4x6 images that happen to be above 100dpi? What if the image is bigger than 4x6?
    I've got this wrong haven't I? Surely?
    Matt x
PS I've got the mobile app which is peachy but my iphone doesn't swap files with PCs very easily <understatement> so that won't help with printing files off my netbook.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus Printer will connect to apps but will not connect to EPrint

OS MAC 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.  I am using a wireless connection, no USB, and everything worked fine at one time.  Recently, all remote printing, including Airprint stopped connecting.  I am unable to access anything on the HP website via the printer except for the Apps.  My network is working fine and I have done all the troubleshooting steps recommended throughout the Help system with the exception of returning the printer to factory defaults.  Unfortunately, I removed the printer from my ePrint account and have now lost access to my printer e-mail/claiming code.  Thus, I can do no troubleshooting via the HP website.   I have tried using the original code the printer came with and the e-mail I changed the printer to after installing it and neither works.  I have a bad feeling I will not be able to use the ePrint features any longer with this printer and with my warrantee expired, I will be thoroughly po'ed about this.

    Hello lynnmilicevic,
First I want to reassure you by letting you know that the web services support has no expiration.  Next I want to address the issue with ePrint.  You will not have to take the printer completely back to factory settings, but you will have to disable and re-enable the printer's web services.  You can remove the web services by going to the setup menu,  select the web services setup, select restore factory defaults ( note, this only restores web services to the factory defaults, everything else, i.e. wireless, fax, ect., will still have the settings that you have created), and select yes.  You will get a message saying that the web services have been reset.  Now go back to the setup menu, select web services, and follow the prompts to re-enable web services.  Once you have the web services enabled again, you will have to go the eprintcenter.com, log in, and add the printer to the account again.  A very unfortionate part of this is that you will not be able to get the same custom e-mail for your printer.  The original custom e-mail will be locked for about 6 months.  If this does not help, let me know and I will see what can be done.

  • Cannot fax from my iMac to my Officejet Pro 8500A Plus A910g

I have researched HP help and followed the directions on how to add the fax to my available printers, but when I try to fax a document, the printer prints 3 pages with one line ofcode on each but does not fax the document. If I use the fax feature on the 8500A, it works as designed. I can scan from the 8500A to the iMac and print from the iMan to the 8500A. I would like to be able to fax documents from the iMac without printing them and then faxing.

    Hi A-BPlumber,
I would like to help you be able to send a fax from your mac without having to print it. Please ensure you are choosing the Fax driver next to the printer selection in the 'print' dialog box.

  • Hp Officejet Pro 8500A Plus - eprint not working

any eprint type request fails despite the hpeprintcenter page showing everything is correct. ie printer is 'connected' and 'ready':
    1. email name & information page doesn't print (even though the email name is displayed OK on the display screen). Pressing the 'Print' button brings up 'connecting' on the screen display, but after a couple of minutes it reverts to the normal home screen display.
    2. emailing from apple mail gets as far as the hp eprint server OK since I get an email back saying 'Your print job has been received and prepared for printing', and 'you can check the status of your print job at http://www.hpeprintcenter.com.' If I check the hpeprint centre it does indeed show the email in the queue as 'pending', along with all the information page print attempts.
    3. If I try to use one of the print apps on the printer - it goes to the hpeprintcentre and brings up all the various apps OK, and indeed I can even 'preview', but when I select (say the FT worldwide page) to print (either in black, or colour) it just says 'downloading from the web...', then after a couple of minutes of that screen: 'The printer is connected to the internet but www.financialtimes.com is not responding. Would you like to retry Yes/ No' Reties don't work, different apps result in a similar message.
The printer is most definitely connected OK to the internet as it can send email notifications OK. Local network printing is OK too. I can confirm that I definitely used the rigth email address for the printer, the printer is online, and that I have permission to use the printer.
This really does seem to be some problem with the hp eprint server.
Others seem to be having same problems I note...
    Thanks

The eprint server itself was the root of the problem here as the print outs eventually came through after 24 hrs. It seems there is a very very long lag between registration for the service and the ability to use the service. This really needs to be made much clearer on the HP sprint centre website. It is not a small delay as stated. Perhaps the server was having probs or overloaded. If so. The website should have a status indicator and the standard printer acknowledgement email should also indicate the potential delay length.
That way new users don't have to waste their time and forum members time chasing out a problem on their own rapt or set up that isn't there.
Thanks for your advice re rebooting router etc. I confirm that I didn't need to do that though. It really was an HP sprint server issue.

  • GOT A HP OFFICEJET PRO 8500A PLUS; I MUST RE-ENTER WIRELESS SETTINGS EVRYTIME I USE IT??

I just got an OfficeJet Pro 8500a Plus, on the touchscreen i have to set-up (username and password) the wireless connection to my wireless SSID; and that confirms the connection ok. At that point i can print no problem, scan and fax.
The problem arises when my wireless router fails and restarts, the next time i use my printer it says it is not connected and i must reconfigure from the touch screen again username and password. Is there no way to have these settings entered permanently so if my router resets or whatever i do not have to re-enter all settings? Thanks for the help and hopefully good news.
    Thank you so much

This is strange.  Does the printer ever lose power?
Let's set a static IP address for the printer:
    - Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
    - Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
    - Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
    - On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). You can change the DHCP range of the router using its internal settings page.
    - Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
    - Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway and first DNS. Leave the second one blank.
    - Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • My iPhone and my iPad are connected by wi-fi, but I can't print on HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus. On the other hand, I can print over wi-fi from PC. What can I do?

Hallo, thank you for trying to help. Here is my problem:
In the past, the airprint was possible without problems from iPhone 4 and iPad 2. Since today it doesn't work anymore. My iPhone 4 and my iPad 2 is connected by wi-fi and I can serve in the internet. But I can't print on HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus. On the other hand, I can print over wi-fi from PC.
There are low ink-levels and therefore a message comes to indicate this by printing from PC. iPhone and iPad are accepting the print order without any messages after, but does't excecute the print.
    What can I do?

    Hey helmut,
You can also try the ePrint method listed here if you can't get AirPrint working:

The application HP home and biz app is free in the app catalogue!

  • 8500A PLUS - Scan to Email - to another 8500A Plus email address will it print with no PC?

Wanted to know if anyone has tried using two HP Officejet Pro  8500A Plus  SCAN to EMAIL feature without the use of a PC. Anything to look out for before spending the money on two of these units? Basically i want to set one up at my office the other at my home and use them without a pc using dsl internet to send  and receive scans .

If you have 2 8500a with the scan to email option you will need a pc to set up your scan to email and once that is done you could register those 2 printers and enable eprint and using that address you could scan an item from one and email it to the other and it will work using eprint.  I hope this helps
