HP 8753ES 'block input error' when recalling state

I use HP8753 save/recall state.vi to save and recall state with the HP
8753ES network analyzer. I try to recall state back into the analyzer.
Saving is fine, but when recalling state, I get 'Block Input Error'. I
tried changing '1' to '0' at the Exclusive-OR in Write Text to
Screen.vi in HP 8753 save/recall state as Sastry recommended on
Lilach's question, but it doesn't work. I even take the write text to
screen.vi off and modify the vi to run without it, but it still
doesn't work. Can you advice me how to recall state properly? Thanks

Hi,
a post from Paris, with cloudy weather :-(
learn string of HP8753ES is 7656 bytes long. So 5000 bytes used to read
the VISA ressource are not enough and must be increased to 8000. After
that, HP8753 Save/Recall State.vi works fine here. I hope it will be the
same for you...

  • Block input error in 8510A

    Hi,
    I want connect to 8510A .
    I know that, these are the error correction coefficiects created during calibration (also called a \cal set"). The error coefficiect arrays can be read from or sent to a computer, by the OUTPCALC and INPUCALC commands.
    I used attached vi for this data transfering.
    I can do saving a cal set to a file (save to pc),
    but when I want recall a file (the same one that is saved to my pc) from pc and save to a cal set, vi. do not work.
    system gives an error : "BLOCK INPUT ERROR"
    I do not know why is it?

  • Error when executing statement for table/stored proc

    Hi All,
          I am getting this error when executing IDOC to JDBC (Stored Procedure) Scenario.
         In my stored procedure I have three insert statements to insert rows in to 3 tables.
        This stored procedure is working fine for two insert statements i.e,
             For this I have created data type for stored procedure with 10 elements and executed the scenario and was successfully running.
        when I added 3rd insert statement to stored procedure ie., when i added 5 more elements to the datatype (totally 15 elements) it starts giving the bellow error in Message Monitoring.
    <i><b>Exception caught by adapter framework: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'COGRP_TMP_PROC_1' (structure 'Statements'): java.sql.SQLException: General error</b></i>
    <i><b>Delivery of the message to the application using connection JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'COGRP_TMP_PROC_1' (structure 'Statements'): java.sql.SQLException: General error</b></i>
       Note:- I have run the stored procedure  with three insert statements in Sql Server, and also by calling an external program also, and was working fine.
    <i><b> Note : Is there any structure needs to be follow when working with IDOC to Stored procedure.</b></i>
    I am struck up with the error, can any body resolve this issue.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Murthy

    Hi narasimha,
                      This seems to be any error due to incorrect query formation.In your receiver jdbc channel set the parameter logSQLstatement = true.you can find this parameter in the advanced mode. Using this parameter you will be able to see the sql query which is generated at runtime in the audit log in RWB.

  • Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement...

    Hello,
    I want to INSERT data from R/3 System to AS400 via JDBC adapter into a DB2 database. The interfaces from R/3 are Ok. but i have some problems to use the JDBC in DB2 Systems. The message in comunitation channel is:
    " Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'SPE106TST' (structure 'STATEMENT'): java.sql.SQLException: SPE106TST de SADMT1 no válido para la operación."
    in the SXMB_MONI -> Request Message Mapping payloads this:
    The connection to the database is fine, Sender adapter with a SELECT * works perfect.
    Please Can anyone help me solve this problem? I'm lost.
    Best regards,

    Hi Nicola,
    This error occurs when the receiver side structure is incorrect.
    Your structure seems to be correct.
    Please use lower case for action, access and table.
    Please check whether the field names are exactly the same as in the actual Database table sadmt1.SPE106TST.
    Check if the table has permissions to write.
    You can try an alternate structure without using table tag.

    sure you can remove it using Replace function or by writing UDF.
    as I am seing # is last character..<b>so remove # with " " (single space) and then use the TRIM fucntion.</b>

  • Oracle giving Block corruption errors when using CDC for sending the data to SQL Server 2012

    Hello Friends,
    We are facing an error while using CDC with Oracle. It is a "Block corruption" error, which indicates at some level of data corruption. We ran RMAN validate command to scan the database for corruption but it returned with no errors, however he

    Hi Dee,
    Thank you for your question.
    I am trying to involve someone more familiar with this topic for a further look at this issue. Sometime delay might be expected from the job transferring. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you for your understanding and support.

  • "MediaKit reports block size error" when formatting drive

    I got a new 2TB hard drive, and I'm trying to format it as HFS+ journaled case sensitive encrypted, each time I try I get the following error:
    "MediaKit reports block size error, usually caused by not being a multiple of 512."
    This is a brand new drive, it has a GUID partition map with one partition, that was created by Disk Utility, and the disk passed a full hardware scan from Drive Genius.
    Normally when I get an error I can google it, but this particular error only gives me links to RAID problems, and I'm not doing anything with RAID.
    What determines the block size? I did not get an option to set it anywhere that I could see.
    How do I fix this error and get my drive encrypted?

    This does indeed seem to be the problem.
    Before you replied I RMAed the Seagate disk assuming it to be faulty, because, well, 4k is a multiple of 512b and all. Today, my new WesternDigital disk arrived - it gives the IDENTICAL error. The changes of two disks from two vendors both being faulty seem low, so I think we can safely say OS X has a nasty security bug that has been languishing for some time.
    It seems the only way I can protect my backups is to use 3rd party softeware, or to find an old 2TB disk somewhere that still has 512b blocks rather than 4k blocks.
    Hopefully Apple get this bug fixed soon, and hopefully others will find this post when they google the error message and at least understand that their disk is probably fine.

  • PL/SQL block query error when going to a remote system with 1 parameter.

    Hi,
    I am getting the error:
    Invalid function body condition: ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested ORA-02063: preceding line from HANSEN_REMOTE
    The issue appears to result from opening a cursor that is a select statement is in some way accessing records via a dblink and the 'where' clause is has more then one session parameter in it. Here is the smallest pl/sql block that results with an error:
    DECLARE
    CURSOR c_GetPay IS
    SELECT PERSON_ID
    FROM CASH_PERSON@HANSEN_REMOTE
    WHERE LAST_NAME = :P320_HANSEN_LAST_NAME
    AND FIRST_NAME = :P320_HANSEN_FIRST_NAME;
    BEGIN
    OPEN c_GetPay ;
    CLOSE c_GetPay ;
    RETURN TRUE;
    END ;
    If I remove 'AND FIRST_NAME = :P320_HANSEN_FIRST_NAME' from the curser, there is no problem. This block of pl/sql is in a On Load: Before Header
    on a page branch. This issue remains consistent in our 1.6.1.00.02 instance of HTMLDB with an Oracle database version 10.1.0.3.0. This instance is
    a fresh install of the 10g and HTMLDB.
    Does any one have any ideas of why I am getting this error message. I really need to get it resolve soon as we are trying to get an application up by the end of August and there is still alot of coding needing to be done.
    Thanks for the help.
    Lanie

    Scott, I have tried everything that this point except copy the whole table from the remote system.
    Here is a short version of what I have tried...
    -- hard coded condition...timing was not an issue here...it was quick.
    declare
    v_in_PersonId number(9);
    cursor c_GetPay
    IS select PERSON_ID --, first_name, LAST_NAME
         from HANSEN_CONTACT
              where first_name like 'LANIE'
              AND last_name LIKE 'MOORE'
    BEGIN
    OPEN c_GetPay;
    FETCH c_GetPay INTO v_in_PersonId;
    CLOSE c_GetPay;
    RETURN TRUE;
    END
    -- this is an internal variable set to the string literal...does not as the v function was not called.
    declare
    V_TEST VARCHAR2(150);
    V_TEST2 VARCHAR2(150);
    v_in_PersonId number(9);
    cursor c_GetPay
    IS select PERSON_ID --, first_name, LAST_NAME
         from HANSEN_CONTACT
              where first_name like :V_TEST
              AND last_name LIKE :V_TEST2
    BEGIN
    V_TEST := 'LANIE';
    V_TEST2 := 'MOORE';
    OPEN c_GetPay;
    FETCH c_GetPay INTO v_in_PersonId;
    CLOSE c_GetPay;
    RETURN TRUE;
    END
    -- this has the v function called in the cursor since no matter what I do, I have to call it so I don't get my original error. This takes over a minute to return, and it is using hard coded values...if I use session variables where I place the information from the user, it takes even longer.
    declare
    V_TEST VARCHAR2(150);
    V_TEST2 VARCHAR2(150);
    v_in_PersonId number(9);
    cursor c_GetPay
    IS select PERSON_ID --, first_name, LAST_NAME
         from HANSEN_CONTACT
              where first_name like V(:V_TEST)
              AND last_name LIKE V(:V_TEST2)
    BEGIN
    V_TEST := 'LANIE';
    V_TEST2 := 'MOORE';
    OPEN c_GetPay;
    FETCH c_GetPay INTO v_in_PersonId;
    CLOSE c_GetPay;
    RETURN TRUE;
    END
    It does not appear to be an issue if I am looking at a view going to the remote system or the table it's self. The slowness issue takes place. (In short I have tried replacing HANSEN_CONTACT which is a view with the direct table link of imsv7.contact@HANSEN_REMOTE and that did not solve the timing issue).
    Any ideas?

    Linux enchilada 2.2.14-5.0 #1 Tue Mar 7 21:07:39 EST 2000 i686 unknown
    gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
    Oracle version: 8.1.7
    added following lines to file plsql/demo/extproc.c:
    (at top of file)
    #include <unistd.h>
    #include <sys/types.h>
    #include <sys/stat.h>
    #include <fcntl.h>
    (inside UpdateSalary function)
    struct stat mystat;
    stat("/tmp/foo", &mystat);
    reported error:
    SQL Error: ORA-06520: PL/SQL: Error loading external library
    ORA-06522: /tmp/extproc.so: undefined symbol: stat
    NOTE: when I remove call to stat, procudure runs properly.

    I've talked to support, and this is supposedly a problem with Oracle not recognizing the library path. It is supposed to be fixed in 8.1.7.1.

  • Invalid Input Error When Compiling in CS5

    I am porting and AIR for Android app over to iPhone, but when I try to compile I get the following error:
    Invalid Input
    Invalid Input swf. Error executing : /Applications/Adobe Flash CS5/PFI/aot/lib/go.jar
    Has any one else seen this? Do you know how to fix it?
    Thanks.

    You need to update Flash CS5 under Help > Updates.
    I had the same problem. I thought Flash was up to date because the Adobe Updater pops up regularly. The Adobe Updater is just for CS4 apps, so you won't get the updates you need for CS5.

  • Double character input error when entering data in numbers using Bluetooth keyboard.

    Using a bluetooth keyboard (Logitech) sometimes causes a double character input when entering data in numbers.
    For example if wish to enter the number "22" or the word "in" they become "2222" and "iinn". Pressing enter of tab also causes a double jump
    This problem is not always solved by turning keyboard off and on or by closing down and restarting numbers.
    This problem does not occur in any other app.
    I have used 2 different Logitech keyboards (ultra-slim and the recently new folio keyboard) and both caused the same problem.
    The error is sporadic but frequent and has lead to me often having to switch back to touch input.
    Very frustrating considering these excellent keyboards are ideal for using in numbers when working correctly!
    ANy advice would be much appreciated

    Zombie,
    Not much help I'm afraid, but I just saw your post & wanted to let you know that I have the same problem, but for me it manifests itself in many apps, and it happens with the Apple bluetooth keyboard
    . The only thing I've noticed is that it only seems to happen when I first start typing after not using the keyboard for a while (I'm not sure how long a while is, but maybe 30 seconds or so). Then I'll type & the first few letters will be fine, and then one letter double-types, and then it's fine again until I stop using it for whatever the threshold amount of time is. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the iPad's battery management & that it's shutting off the connection to the keyboard or something & once it picks it back up, then it double-types that letter.
    At least in Pages, it isn't as big of a deal because I know it's coming, I can correct it & then type for a long time. In Numbers, my keyboard use is much less consistent, so I need to be more cognisant of it.

  • Incorrect Block Length error when configuring SSL

    Hello, gurus:
    I am messing around with SSL configurations on WebLogic 6.0.2. I have generated
    a CSR, and located my non-password protected private key and CSR files to the
    /config/[my_test_domain] folder. I have received my test cert from VeriSign, which
    I have saved to /config/[my_test_domain] as cert.pem. Lastly, I copied off of
    VeriSign's site an Intermediate CA certificate (or Server Cert Chain), and saved
    that at ca.pem.
    Now when I attempt to start WebLogic, I am seeing the following Alert messages:

    Can you elaborate on what you did to get the root ca cert from verisign's repository
    page and
    convert it to DER format using OpenSSL? I've been trying to figure out how to do
    this for about
    a week now... I finally got verisign support to just email me a root ca cert but I
    would like to know
    what you did.. Did you just cut & paste the class 1 root ca from the repository page
    (http://www.verisign.com/repository/root.html) to a file? Where did you get OpenSSL
    and what
    did you do to convert the file to a DER? I looked at the OpenSSL site but I couldn't
    figure it out.
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I can't believe how much time I have
    wasted
    looking into this...

    ..... And that was the whole problem. After doing more search of the resources here,
    I discovered that the Server Certificate Chain File Name needed the Root Server
    CA cert from VeriSign. The solution was to copy VeriSign's Root Server CA cert
    from their repository page, and then use OpenSSL to transform that into a .der
    file. Using this .der file as the Server Certificate Chain File did the trick.
