Blu-ray Error: fatal error, code 6, audio buffer underflows...

Ughh.... So its been a few months since I stopped using CS6 Encore because it loves to crash for all kinds of bad reasons. Today I needed to do a new project, and used a simple 1920x1080p MP4 file created by Adobe Media Encoder, and used a basic menu template in Encore. Also added a slideshow timeline with one Mp3 audio set to loop. During the building image part of the build process, I get the fatal error code 6, audio buffer underflows. Total bitrate too high neat time = 0.00000 seconds -
First off, I set the BR transcode setting to auto and it spends pleanty of time transcoding the file to a 15mbps bitrate, so why is Encore not first taking care of all the source files correctly in transcoding...?

Ok.... 100% the fault of the software. I am an SE, and build systems all the time for my business, so if I knew of these simple problems, Id go into the code and devise a solution...please Adobe, fix Encore.
Here are my simple finding from solving this problem (first post):
- Of the 2 simple Mp4 files produced by Media Encoder, one, which runs only 2 minutes, had a peak of a little over 10mbps. I dropped the file back into Encoder and set the same mp4 profile to max of 6mbps and then replaced the file in the encore project, ran build and it worked fine.
SO.... If I can use a simple free bit of software to look at the bitrate of a file (google Bitrate Viewer) and determine that the peak was possibly too high, why oh why cant adobe write a better transoding logic algorythm to decide if a video in a timeline needs to be reprocessed at a slightly lower bitrate before just attempting a build and then throwing an error. For the love of all that is holy, please tweek your transcoding decision process to prevent these simple errors.

I have been trying to build a project (a 50gb Blu Ray disc) for the last couple of days and I keep getting an error message I have never gotten before. The error says: "fatal error", Code: "6", note: "vide buffer underflows Total bitrate is too high near..."
I don't know why this is happening. I build this entire project from the ground up once before using the exact same assets but I accidently deleted that project file so I had to put it together again. But it was practically identical. And it would build the project just find. I deleted the cache folder. I deleted the main video timelines and recreated them. I made sure the transcode settings for bitrate were not too high. I did everything I can think of.
Can someone please help me? I have no idea what to do now. The frustrating thing is that the error message doesn't tell me what asset the problem is with or anything. This is a rather complicated project. I have two full length movie files (about 90 minutes each) and seven video special features. I have five audio tracks and a couple of subtitle tracks. I don't have any idea what asset is causing the problem!
But I used all these same assets before and I built the project perfectly. And it is not the subtitles because I deleted the subtitle tracks and I still got the error message.
Is there any way of knowing what assets are causing the problem? How can I fix this?
I have a number of people who are waiting for the completion of this disc so I need to get this resolved pretty soon.

What version of Encore and what operating system?
using the exact same assets
What format? Already transcoded m4v/a3c 5.1 or what? Does Encore show them for Bluray as "Do Not Transcode"?
What were the export settings, particularly bitrate?
Is there any way of knowing what assets are causing the problem?
Not through the error message.
Rather than deleting elements to see what causes it, I would add elements (e.g. you got the error, deleted the subtitle tracks, and still had the error, leaving the possibilit that a cache or similar is contining the problem even if the subtitles caused it).
So add just the menus and timelines, no extra audio, no subtitles,
When starting a new project, make sure you are using a new name for the project.

That's the error I got when Encore CS3 started to actually write to the bluray burner.
It's worked many other times but this time it did everything except the burn.
If I reboot or change blanks it doesn't seem to matter. When it gets to the stage of starting to write to the disc, I get the message above.
Real helpful, right?

I can't seem to get any response here so I'm wondering if there is any list of Encore errors on the Adobe site? Errors like this are pretty meaningless unless you have a list of explanations. Any cluses who might have one?

CS6 - Blu-ray Error: "Fatal Error", Code: "6"

I have gone through about 15 Blu Ray Disks in the past week, trying to burn one wedding project.
When i burn to DVD - its fine... but when i choose Blu Ray, it gets about 1 hour in and then comes up with 'Blu-ray Error: "Fatal Error", Code: "6".
I have tried to re-export all files for burning, in two different blu ray formats - but it continues to come up with the same.
I have used Encore for years but have just upgraded to CS6 and im getting these errors.
What am i doing to cause this?

I had a broken /incomplete button in a menu. After replacing it with a new button everything worked.

How OC4J handles fatal error codes

1. Does OC4j cleans/closes all connections in the connection pool when OC4J detects fatal error codes? Does OC4J really work as per oracle documentation? Can I get an example showing how is it done?
Oracle Documentation says:
For each data source defined in data-sources.xml, you can define fatal error codes that indicate that the back-end database with which the data source communicates is no longer accessible. When OC4J detects one of these error codes (stated when a SQLException is thrown by the JDBC driver), OC4J will clean its connection pool. That is, it closes all connections in the connection pool. For Oracle, the predefined fatal error codes are: 3113, 3114, 1033, 1034, 1089, and 1090.
2. When OC4J detects fatal error codes defined in an connection pool in data-sources.xml, how connections in the connection pool are handled by OC4J?
3. When OC4J detects fatal error codes on one connection to Oracle database, then will OC4J restore / close the connection back to connection pool?
4. Does OC4J really work on fatal error codes?

EVENT 36888, Schannel A fatal alert was generated and sent to the remote endpoint. This may result in termination of the connection. The TLS protocol defined fatal error code is 43. The Windows SChannel error state is 252.

I keep losing my network connection for a few seconds at a time. Not a big deal unless I just spent time filling in a form and have to redo it.

I am using Encore CS4 4.0.1 (the latest version from what I can see) on Mac OSX 10.6.3
I am on a Mac Pro 1,1 with 2 2GHz Xeon Dual Core Processors
I have 5 GB of Ram
The Mac has the standard Nvidia 7300GT.
I have successfully created several BD and DVDs and nothing has changed.
I have a 1080 50i BD h.264 project with 2 hour 37 minute timeline and I am looking to create an h.264 BD 25 image. The project has two menus: a main menu with two buttons and a chapter selection menu with 7 buttons. Check project reveals no issues with anything.
I have searched the forum and tried the various solutions I found such as disc name, etc. The name is all in capitals with no spaces.
I googled and found msxml problems/solutions and other such things related to windows that do not apply to me as I am on Mac.
I get the following error at the very end of the build process:
Encore CS4 bluray error: fatal error, code "6" Internal error m_ptsOfNextGOPis empty

I do not know exactly what the problem was with the menu. I am assuming the menu was the problem because when I created a new encore project with the same video, audio and photo assets but with new menus there was no problem. I think that at the time I read there some people were having a problem with the template I originally used for my menus so I simply built a new menu from scratch in PS CS3. I think the original menu was party menu hd.
Sorry if that is vague but it worked so I did not look any further into the problem and I have not had any recurrence.

Power Saver Fatal Error code: 0x2 - Equium A100-147

I've just formatted my HDD and re installed windows xp home. Been downloading drivers and all was going well untill power saver. After I installed it I got a message saying +A Fatal error has occurred. This program will be terminated. code: 0x2+ I tryed to uninstall power saver but got the same message and it would not let me uninstall. What should I do? Any help would be amazing.

Formatted HDD when prompted and ran the restoration disk. When I restarted my laptop it did the normal windows loading then after it the screen went blank and stayed like that. I then started up in safe mode and it told me "The system is not fully installed. Please run setup again." then restarts when I click OK. Any ideas how I can fix this, and if I have to get a new recovery cd where can I get them. Because I called Toshiba and they don't make them anymore so I can't get hold of them there :(

FATAL ERROR code; 0x800701E3 WD Elements 5TB

HiI've received an 0x800701E3error saying;Due to a device error number 0x800701E3..............something.........
...............fatal error device hardware.This was when I was copying files from the laptop to external hard disk. I done the Windows error check thing and it came back as fine. I began another attempt at transferring new files and it came back again with same error code 0x800701E3.I've downloaded the WD diagnostics tool off the website and it read the Seagate 2TB HDD which got a PASS and the Toshiba internal laptop HDD also got a PASS.
The WD Elements 5TB however got a "?Not Available" reading. I hovered over it and saw a message ribbon saying something like a "S.M.A.R.T. error reading", as for as I can tell anyway. I'm hoping I was just me imagining it and after I've done the test, I'll come back as PASS. BTW what does S.M.A.R.T does that mean?
I've got it to start testing the WD 5TB HDD with the Diagnostics and its working away doing an Extended Test right now. It looks as though it will take 8 long hours. I've already have a backup and only 1TB data has been moved from the old backup so really, no real risk of data loss.Question;
1)Can the diagnostics tool tell you the real issue with the HDD even though Windows error check is saying its fine.
2)What does the S.M.A.R.T error mean?

I've completed the extended test and it was a pass. Still, I don't want to deal with something that might fail or corrupt data along the way. (unless I'm wrong?) I didn't want to bother going through all the trouble of RMA it, but for peace of mind, I'll do just that. Rather worrying that I'd be getting fatal error response on a brand new HDD a couple hours after unpacking it. I already have backups so, no need to all of a sudden rush all at once to help out.
