HP Officejet 150 mobile, HP scan does not work (Can not find scanner)

Hi,
I just bought a HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One. I installed the complete software package (downloaded from HP Site) with bluetooth on a windows 7 Acer Aspire S5 laptop. Printing seems to work fine, but when starting HP Scan, i get the following error message:
Saing that the software can not find the scanner with suggestions to solve it.
Is it possible to scan with a buetooth connection? Any other suggestions what is going wrong?

Scanning is not supported through a Bluetooth connection, only printing is available for such connectivity, You will need a USB in order to scan:

NOTEcan functions are not available through a Bluetooth connection. Scan functions are supported only through a USB connection.

    Who is your ISP, how is your mail configured - POP or IMAP and do you get any error messages and if so what are they?

    when I attempt to send an email with pictures, I can not download them,..the bar with "Attachments doesn't do anything when I go to load the pics in the email....it works fine on Internet explorer and was fine before I downloaded Firefox 4....now I am reading that forefox is not using the memory it is supposed to have....should I just find firefox 3. something and use it?

    Are you shooting RAW? Are you exporting masters or versions? Is there a size limitation on the Walgreens site?

  • Report Concern not Working, Can not remove Wrong Review Posted

    I'm the writer of a specific review - (1 Star  Rating as the product did not work at all)
    And published this review by accident in the WRONG place for another product by clicking on the WRONG item on the Apple original invoice.
    When Signed in using my Itunes account - this review does not show up in my account, so I can not remove it.
    I've contacted the company for who the wrong review was placed and they can not remove it either.
    Clicking on Report a Concern, does not help either, as nothing happens when I click to submit the report to Apple.
    I've done the following: and nothing worked.
    1. Signed in with my own Apple ID to report the concern.
    2. Signed in with a different Apple ID to report the concern.
    3. Used a Windows PC & Itunes.
    4. Used a Mac & Itunes.
    I really would like this wrong review to be removed, and could also not find an email address to report this issue directly to Itunes/Apple either.

    I have grant permissions to the user and the report in BI webcatalog and also in BIP under admin tab I have addes the role which the user belongs to and also the shared folder . Still the problem exists.
    My BI presentation servcies security is working . My user security is also working , all that I need is the user should be able to see the report when he clicks on BIP link placed in dashboard.

  • Power Saver utility not working/can not uninstall

    When I trying to start Power Saver from the control panel, it writes something like:
    "Power Saver is nor running. Please first set Power Saver as a default power control scheme in power management".
    But power saver is already set as my power control scheme.
    I tryed to reinstall Power Saver (downloaded from Toshiba site), but it writes "fatal error while uninstalling previous version".
    The manual start of the uninstallation give me the same error.
    I found that I can delete deinstallation protocol of Power Saver.
    After doing so the new version was installed without problems, but still not working. The same error:

    For what purpose are you trying to connect them?
    Only specific apps support Bluetooth connections between iOS devices, and you can only connect an iPhone to a computer via Bluetooth for internet tethering.

  • Apple TV3 not working - Can not connect to iTunes, Very, very slow streaming. Help please?

    For just over a week I have been unable to stream film/TV shows from Netflix via my Apple TV. When I have been able to, the streaming is painfully slow... for example, to watch a half hour program I have had to pause it at the beginning and leave it for 30-40mins before I can watch it and even then i'm not guaranteed to be able to watch it all! On top of the streaming issues, I tried to purchase a film from iTunes via the Apple TV - this took 3days to download!! Then finally, last night, it all seemed to stop working - will not connect to iTunes account at all (can not connect to server). I have checked again this morning and the error message says the same thing. My internet connection is fine (perfect on both mac, dell laptop and iPhone. I have tried the obvious troubleshooting methods - nothing has helped.
    Can anyone please tell me whether this is an internal Apple issue and if we know how and when this will be resolved? Or has anyone else had the same problems and been able to resolve them?

    This would be an issue with your network. Netflix will constantly adapt to your connection. iTunes content is fixed, will cache as you watch, and will need to load a portion before playback begins. As you have not provided information on what you have tried, I will list common things to check.
    What is your current connection, via speedtest.net
    Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)
    Make sure router is up to date, if on wifi try ethernet
    Go to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC) to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise

  • Java not working - can't find missing plug in

    I just installed updates for both Java and OS X 10.7.5 and now Java isn't working. All preferences are enabled, I downloaded version 7 update 9, but I can't get it to work. I tried reverting back to version 6 using the terminal window but I can't get it to work, it tells me to enter my password then won't let me type. Any help would be appreciated.     When you check your plugins list, is QuickTime listed there as disabled, or just completely missing? (The disabled plugins cluster toward the bottom on a gray background.)

    If you still have errors I would think that your e-mail config files might be wrong, but your error message is very strange. So maybe something wrong with permissions. I'm afraid I'm just guessing.
    To be clear.
    Each command
    systemctl start [email protected]
    generated an e-mail message.
    None of
    systemctl status [email protected]
    commands generated any e-mail messages.

  • 2ND Battery is now NOT working(&)Can NOT restart(&) Going very slow!

    I apologize if I am posting in the wrong place. I am new to this and I am wondering if anyone had any solutions or input to my post subject. I have just replaced the original MacBook battery and now the replacement will no longer charge much like the previous. Also, I am NOT able to restart the computer. I must shut down and start using the power button. Finally, the computer is very slow now and not able to properly stream most media online. If anyone has any idea what might be the problem I would appreciate any and all input. Thank you.

    Was it an Apple-branded battery? Any chance the charger is bad?
    Try booting from your OSX installation disk and use Disk Utility to repair permissions on your hard drive.

    Good idea for the steps. 
    Actually there are two ways 
    One way
    1. install hotsync version 6.
    download this palm application and select autoupdate option
    http://www.trvlink.com/download/delta/dlpalm.exe
    2.  Upgrade to hotsync 7.0.2
    3.  this is a weekly download so the next week, it will hot sync and get the errors.  NOTE: if you never download 7.0.2 the autoupdate would work with no problem.
    The other ways
    1. install hotsync 6
    2. Upgrad to hotsync 7.0.2
    3. download this palm application and select autoupdate option

  • Officejet 150 mobile scanner not recognized

    Win 8.1 desktop connected by usb to officejet 150 mobile printer/scanner
    Installed using latest driver install package from HP.  Install completes with no errors.  Printer works normally
    HP scan fails.  Gives error box saying scanner not recognized -  attempted uninstall and reinstall
    Used utility from HP to do complete removal did not fix.  Ran HP diagnostic which says driver not recognizing scanner and to contact support.

    I understand you are having problems scanning despite the troubleshooting your best efforts. I'm sorry to hear that, but will certainly do all I can to help out
    Although you have already uninstalled and reinstalled, I suggest trying a more comprehensive uninstall. Please complete the following steps and let me know the outcome;
    Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type %temp%
    Delete all files and folders from the temp folder. Choose skip if any pop ups appear saying any of the files could not be deleted
    Download the software and choose to save as, save to desktop > OJ150ML511_Full_14_en.exe
    After the software downloads and extracts, open the temp folder again, use the instructions from step 1.
    Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
    Open folder Util
    Open folder CCC
    If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have anon-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
    When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
    Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
    Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
    In the Open box, type msiexec /unregister, and then click OK.
    Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
    In the Open box, type msiexec /regserver, and then click OK
     *Note: there is a space between the c and the /
    If you have any difficulty with this step, please use this link to perform it another way. Restarting Windows Installer

    Locate Print Spooler and double click on it to open the Spooler properites 
    Make sure startup type is set to Automatic, if it is not please click on the drop down and choose Automatic
    Under Service status, please Stop the server, and then wait a moment and click Start
    Deleting the printer from Printer Server Properties
    1. Open the ‘Devices and Printers’ folder
    2. Choose ‘Print server properties’.
     Win XP – With no printer selected, click ‘File’ then ‘Server Properties’.
    Windows Vista – With no printer selected, press ‘Alt’ then click ‘File’ then ‘Server Properties’.
    Windows 7/8 and 8.1 – Select any printer in the ‘Devices and Printers’ folder and click ‘Print Server properties’ above.
     3. Click on the ‘Drivers’ tab at the top of ‘Print server properties’ window
    4. Choose the printer you want to uninstall and click ‘Remove’
    5. Choose 'Remove driver only'
    6. The next screen will give a warning, letting you know that deleting the driver package will remove it from the system. Click ‘Yes’ to say that you are sure you want to do this.
