HP Solutions Center doesn't work for my C7280

I have a C7280 All In One and just got a new PC running Windows 7 (32 bit). Now when I try to run the Solutions Center to scan a picture it says that I don't have the SW installed so I went to the site and downloaded the entire SW suite for my printer and I still get the sam error message when I click on the icon on my desktop. I have tried to use the Help function on the Start/Program/HP menu and that doesn't help either. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the entire SW suite to get it to run or what? Please help.                                        I hope you enjoy your experience!
I see that you are having an issue with installing and running the HP full feature software.
I suggest that you do a complete uninstall of the software and drivers. Please remove the usb cable from the computer and the printer.
If you are using a Firewall or anti virus protection, please disable before going to the following link and downloading.
Here is the link for the HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers. This is specifically for Windows 7 32 bit.
Please save the file to your desktop so that it creates its own icon.  Double click on the icon and follow the instructions.  Please do not connect any cable to the printer or computer until the installation prompts you to do so.
If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.

    I can't use  HP Solution Center for scanning with my HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a (I have windows 7 O.S.) because, when I click on "Scan document" , a white error windows appears and says"Necessary Component is not founded or not correctly installed. Install again HP Photosmart software" . I uninstalled and installed again the software but it doesn't work. Previously it worked with XP. Recently I've updated XP with Windows 7 and I found HP Solution Center doesn't work. Perhaps it doesn't match with Win 7?

  • HP Solution Center doesn't work after upgrade from Vista to Win7 64b

    Two problems. 1) Upgraded Dell 1737 Notebook from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 64b. HP Solution Center no longer works. Have HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a printer hardwired into router. Downloaded new printer drivers, still cannot print. 2) Cannot get Solution Center to execute. Message says can't find "SolutionCenter.msi". No Win7 upgrade for Solution Center on HP site.

    Lets first try Uninstalling the existing printer software using the listed steps..
     Press the keys Win + R, a RUN box would open. Type in the command %TEMP% in the box and hit OK button.
         A temp folder would open, locate for the folder name begning with 7z..... , open it , then do the following ..
    Locate for folder "UTILS" and double click to open it. Locate for folder "CCC" and double click to open it. Locate for file Uninstall_L3.bat and double click to Run it. Follow the onscreen instructions
    After the uninstallation is done you may have to restart the PC. 
    Then download and run the HP Printer Install Wizard from www.hp.com/go/tools

  • HP Solution Center won't open for HP C7280 Printer

    Photosmart C7280 and Vista 64 bit
    First of all, I just wanted to say that before what's written below, I've not had an issue with this printer concerning printing/scanning/faxing.
    Now, here is the problem. I just moved, and since setting up my computers and printer, I've not been able to successfully open Solution Center, nor can I scan or fax from this Vista 64 bit computer.  I've installed the printer and can print successfully.  I then try to open Solution Center to scan a document, but it tells me that no devices are found.The bottom line is that I'm kind of dead in the water when it comes to scanning from this computer, which is extremely important for business purposes. So what do I do now to fix something that was working well enough before???

    Sorry to hear you cannot scan.  I want to provide you with a document that will cover all the most plausible steps to try first to fix this.  I know it can get complicated so start with this link and let me know if you have any questions or error messages.

    In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
    So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
    If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first.

    Rif t.code S_ALR_87012177. This report requires, for working, the flag in th filed "Payment history record" in the tab "payment transactions" of customers master data.
    I've adjourned the master data of the customers putting in the field "Payment history record". But the report doesn't work for histories. Is there a program which make the report working for histories too?

    when i seen the report there are two  arrears days are showing to corresponding to the months Feb
    as per the Report S_ALR_87012177 help  following below
    Arrears in days
    The average days in arrears are determined as follows: Every
    incoming payment in the periods concerned is multiplied by its days
    in arrears. These amounts are added together and then divided by the
    total amount from all the incoming payments. This process ensures
      that the days in arrears are weighted by the payment amount
    but for February month there are 9 payments on one customer  and when checked in FBL5N report
    there are no Arrears days on each payment document but in the report "customer history ' there showing  2 days as arrears under " payments with Cash discount .Arrears"
    User has doubt how this report is working to show the Arrears days
    Are there any Formula  , can you please advise me

  • HP Officejet Pro L7590 Printer - HP Solution Center does not work

    I am not able to get the Solution Center suite to work because the installation has an error.  I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.  The printer I am installing is the HP Officejet Pro L7590.
    If I go to Devices and Printers and add the printer.  The driver Windows 7 driver would work, it would detect the printer and the test page and everything would be fine. 
    However, if I install using the software provided by HP for the L7590 it would result in an error and it would not work. 
    The failed driver installation is only from installing the full bundle software provided by HP, if by itself through Windows 7 it would be fine.
    Because of the failed installation using HP software the HP solution center does not work.
    In Devices and Printers, the printer has the yellow exclamation point requiring troubleshooting, I click on troubleshoot and no device drivers were found.  In addition, I could not remove the printer.  Before installing the HP software, I could successfully install the printer and there would be a green checkmark, and there would be an option to remove the printer.  This leads me to believe HP has a faulty software bug that is causing the error.
    I am suppose to use the HP add a printer shortcut that populated on my desktop after installing the software, the first time it would show the failure to successfully install the driver, afterwards it would not even detect my printer if it is plugged in.  If I remove the usb and reinsert it, the Windows would just show the failed driver.  I repeat, it failed after I install the software, it works fine without.  The primary reason I want the software is to use the scanning feature.

    I see you are having software installation issues.  i would like to try and assist you.
    I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
    Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration.  You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
    Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would reinstalling the HP Officejet Pro Full Feature Software and Driver.

    I am not sure if i posted the same question before also. We have some customers who have set thier language profile in newScale requestcenter to French. However, all the javascript customizations configured on the service forms do not function for 'French' as a Langauge preference. Has anyone encountered the similar issue before and can anyone please suggest a solution for it?

    we had a similar issue a while back where the Approval button was not working in Spanish, needed a fix from nS for it
    The way to fix this would be to locate the language XML file, override the French caption with Submit and on onLoad write a global JS that would write the button label again (not so sure about this)
    But really its an major defect and they should be able to fix it.

    if you have the USB Mic connected kindly remove it first then uninstall the audio drivers for your B510.
    let windows install its generic driver.
    once done plugin your usb mic and test it again.

    My PC (Dell XPS 9000) is communicating with my HP C309a wirelessly for printing, but the Hp solution Center has stopped working. Shouldn't I be able to use all functions wirelessly?
    I'm getting an error message "HP Solution Center cannot run because your device installation is not complete. Please plug in the usb cable or re-run the set-up program from the instattation CD for a network installation."  When I put the installation disk in to remedy the problem, it tells me that my present software is the latest so it won't update. When I go to the update center, it tells me I have the latest software.

     Try  these:
     Click Start Menu icon>Programs>HP>HP Photosmart c309a>Add a Device
    With this, it will find the wireless printer and reconfigure the settings; simply follow the prompts. After completion, try to reopen HP Solution Center.

  • Lenovo Solution Center (LSC.EXE) asking for administrator password

    Hello,
    On my ThinkCentre I have configured an administrator account and two user accounts.
    The machine is running Lenovo Solution Center.
    When working with the user accounts (no admin privileges) the LSC.EXE program keeps coming up and asking for the administrator password.
    Does anyone have a hint on how to stop this?

    There's no solution for it - this is by design.  LSC cannot function without admin rights.

    This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

    Si vous avez utilisé la commande Save As Template depuis Pages, il y a forcément un dossier
    iWork > Pages
    contenant Templates > My Templates
    comme il y a un dossier
    iWork > Numbers
    contenant Templates > My Templates
    Depuis le Finder, tapez cmd + f
    puis configurez la recherche comme sur cette recopie d'écran.
    puis lancez la recherche.
    Ainsi, vous allez trouver vos modèles personnalisés dans leur dossier.
    Chez moi, il y en a une kyrielle en dehors des dossiers standards parce que je renomme wxcvb.template quasiment tous mes documents Pages et wxcvb.nmbtemplate à peu près tous mes documents Numbers.
    Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.
    Désolé mais je ne répondrai plus avant demain.
