HR - Benefit enrollment for employees

I need a FM, BAPI, etc.. to enroll an employee into benefit programs (health, life, spending, etc...).  How can this be accomplished?

  • Benefit enrollment for dependents ?

    Hi Experts,
    In my company, All employees are eligible for standard health plan, ( Includinf probationer ),
    And for who has worked for 5 years or more ( in my company ) , Or with a posiontion higher than manager will be able to enroll this plan for their chidren or their spouse . I have defined dependents coverage in the IMG , Then i create the infotype 0021 ( family/related) ..For example : I create a new child , and the create the adjusment reason ...
    But when i enroll for a spouse , or a child of an employee , the status 'enrolled' will disappear , this means to say that  i can not enroll the employee and the spouse or child at the same time . In the cost report, there is always 1 choice ( EE only or EE +Spouse or EE + Child ) . Here i want to enroll for all of them and in the cost report , they will appear to calculate the cost ...

  • Benefits enrollment for a single employee without spouse

    Currently on ECC6 (ERP 2005) and EP7......We have an enrollment reason for "anytime" reasons and within that, several plans are offered, one of which is spouse life insurance. On the backend, this works fine (ie. via PA20/30) however, for the ESS side of things, we seem to have an issue.....
    Now, first off, for a single person, this would cause an error message to pop up saying the spouses' date of birth could not be determined (used in the insurance calc, I suppose) since the person did not have a spouse. Doh! Sooooo we applied a note that implements a BAdi and removes the error.
    (notes applied:
       - 861657 Missing spouse information during benefit enrolment
       - 1012001 BADI Correction for ERP 2005   )
    Problem now however, the error does not show, but the user STILL has no plans offered to them. If we add a spouse, viola...they all show up. If we keep the person without a spouse and simply remove that plan from the enrollment....still no plans offered.
    Ideas?

    Found and fixed ! Additional notes had to be applied....
    Note 999510 - ESS:webdynpro application do not display any benefit plan
    and the main one that fixed it....
    Note 973390 - No Benefit plans are displayed for Adjustment Reason

  • Benefit Enrollment (HRBEN0001) Showing Annual instead of PayPeriod Costs

    HCM:  In the Benefits Enrollment screen, when selecting a particular benefit plan, the Employee and Employer costs for that plan are supposed to display the cost amount defined in the cost rule for that plan and adjusted to the employee's pay period.  For most of our plans, this is indeed what is happening.  However, for our salaried US employees, it is displaying the annual cost of the plans instead of the pay period cost.  This does not occur for our hourly-paid US employees nor does it occur for our salaried or hourly-paid Canadian employees.    If we go into PA30 to adjust the benefit plan, we can change the period from annual to bi-weekly and save it but when we return to that plan, it has again reverted to annual.  It occurs only for Insurance plans and not for Health, Savings, or any other plans.  As well, it does not occur for all the Insurance plans but only for some of them.  (We are running ECC 6 with support pack 18.)  Any ideas/suggestions on how to correct this?

    The problem appears to be the deduction model (thanks Sarah).  I have to do more testing to confirm this and will let you know whether it resolves it.  (I will also award the'Forum Points' at that time, depending on the results of my testing.)

    in benefit re-enrollment HRBEN0001 for employee setup with car allowance of wage type 1006 getting an error  u201CError occurred when calculatingu201D . Kindly help.

    Hi Kumarpal,  we are in the process benefit re-enrollment, using HRBEN0001.  we have few employees setup with
    info-type 0014 (re-occuring payments used for car allowacne). if any employee has this info-type and has LTDI plan for
    future date (begda 2009/01/01).   'Error occcured in calculating
    salary' message appears in the error list.  if I remove this info-type 0014, then there is no issue.    Thank you so much

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to implement Benefits Enrollment through GP process under "My First Days". I have copied the SAP delivered action for benefit enrollment as per note 968360.
    The action has Input parameters:
    Enrollment Reason: HIREE (Bold E as per note)
    Service ID: EMPLOYEE_BENEFITPAY_GENERIC_ENROLLMENT05HIRE (HIRE is the adjustment reason).
    I also have a callable object:
    Object Definition:
    Web Dynpro Application: BenefitsApplication
    Package: com.sap.xss.hr.ben
    Development Component: com.sap.pcuigp.xssfpm.wd.FPMComponent.
    Parameters:
    Enrollment Reason: HIREE (Bold E as per note)
    Service ID: EMPLOYEE_BENEFITPAY_GENERIC_ENROLLMENT05HIRE (HIRE is the adjustment reason).
    For some reason, the above configuration is working on portal. It is throwing an error:
    No correct adjustment reason specified
    How to get rid of the error. It is very clear that adjustment reason should be passed from GP Design time. But I can not figure out what is missing.

    few questions
    when you add the service that you have mentioned in the service area for an employee I want you to answer following
    1. check the IT 378 entry and reply with how many reasons are configured for current period
    2. in portal for the same employee how many services are seen
    3. What is the link that you click and you get message "no enrollment reasons found"
    I had a similar issue and this was because we enable a wrong service.
    The correct service if enabled will show all the reasons configured for current period in infotype 378.

  • Benefit - Enrollment  to delete a benefit plan

    Hi,
    The requirement is to delete a benefit plan (e.g. DENT) from enrollment screen (HRBEN0001):
    a) Is to delete a benefit plan via "Define Benefit Programs" the best way?
    a) Currently, there are employees already enrolled with benefit plan DENT and have payroll run with it. Is there any impact that need to be considered?

    I think the requirement probably is to exclude this plan from showing up in 'HRBEN0001' for specific benefit adjustment reasons.
    If this is the case, you can remove this through V_74HB_A (for health plan as it's Dental plan). Note, this only exclude the plan from showing up in benefit enrollment; it doesn't prevent user from actually adding this in IT0168 through PA30.
    You really don't want to physically remove an existing benefit plan that's either currently or previously used as this would cause inconsistency.

    Who should handle benefit enrollement depends on client requirement.
    In SAP Benefit Administration module we do have enrollment function.

    Client may chose to only store benefit related information and take help of other third party vendor and use interfaces to communicate it to SAP for payroll and master data maintenance.
    Aon Hewitt is one of the well known vendors. Might be more not sure of all names.

  • Require Flexi Benefit Pay for India in ESS Portal

    Dear All,
    We need Flexi Benefit Pay option in ESS portal for India.
    We tried a lot for the same but could not get any break through....
    We found Salary Packaging option in R3 under the Tcode P16B_admin...this is wrking fine in R3 but we want this option in portal so that employees can choose their own salary structure.
    We tried to pull this tcode thru Iview but the R3 screen is giving an option for employee to input pernr no. ...so now any employee can input anybodys pernr no. and modify the salary structure.
    also please letme know if this is a standard feature or we have to go for standard development.

  • ESS BP-50.4 Benefit Enrollment - Dependant Selections

    Hi - I have installed the ESS BP 50.4 and for benefit enrollment all of the screens that all you to select eligible dependants - the check box shows at the top of the screen when the dependant name shows in a table at the bottom of the screen....how/where do I correct this?

  • Auto Benefit enrollment Program

    Our employees are enrolled for new year benefits changes.
    My issue is there are few hundred employees they don't have any changes for 2008 enrollment. I can auto enroll them for 2008 by runnning program e.g. CAT. Can any one give me some inputs how to get this done?

    Its necessary selecting ranges of personnel number in order to perform a massive data input for employees as a salary benefit or bonus for a group of employees.

    You could also use T Code : SCAT/SCEM  for mass upload or deload.
    You may use below method to create SCAT in ECC (This is not a Direct method)
    1) Run transaction SCEM
    2) Enter a CATT name
    3) Click on change, prompt appears saying it doesn't exist, do you want to
    create. Click yes.
    4) Enter the TCODE to record.
    5) Execute the TCODE and save data.
    6) Back out. Click End and copy button.
    7) Double-click the TCD on the left side of screen
    8) Click F5 or Field Inputs Variants
    9) Use black down-arrow to step through screens.
    10) Double click on fields to set variables. (SAP adds leading & to each
    variable name).
    11) Save and back out.
    12) Go to menu path Environment --> Extended CATT.
    13) Click change and change type from (M) Manual Test Case to (C) CATT.
    14) Assign component.
    15) Click save. Back out.
    16) Execute SCAT and Go to --> Variants --> Export Default and save as text
    file.
    17) Edit file with new test data.
    18) Execute CATT.
    After step 6 you can also leave SCEM and run SCAT and perform the
    parameterization there as usual.

    In SharePoint Foundation 2013 I want to create a report / chart / Graph for Employee (Employee Id,Employee Name & Department) which will show month wise from which date to which date Employee are on vacation in particular department.

    Chart Web Parts are useful for visually representing data in line charts, bar charts, and other views. Charts enable you and other users to view performance information at a glance.
    In SharePoint 2013, chart web part is one of the discontinued features. We usually use Excel Service to replace it, however, Excel Service is only available in Enterprise edition, so we need to figure out coding methods or third party tool if you are using
    Foundation edition.
