HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE

Dear Sap Gurus,
In order to optimize our performance problems when using the IC Webclient, SAP has advized us to Start Buffering the Org Structure.
Therefore I activated buffering for the Sales and Service Scenario in table T77OMATTSC. (maintenance of view T77OMATTR via sm30).
Next I ran the report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE with following selection criteria:
<b>ATTRIBUTE BUFFER:</b>- Delete all buffers : flagged
- Restructure buffer on (date) : Flagged, with the date = today's date
<b>DISPLAY:</b>
- Shortened
<b>Distribution for mobile Clients:</b>
- No Distribution -is selected (since we do not use Mobile sales)
If I run the report, it is finished in 4 to 5 seconds, also in background.
Since this seems a bit to fast, but perhaps this is normal.
Can anyone tell me <b>how long it takes at your client to run the report</b> ?
furthermore could you indicate if I am using the correct selection criteria?
My last question is: <b>can somebody tell me which tables are actually being deleted and rebuilt again?</b> So at least I can do an initial check if the tables are filled or not..

The tables I have found back so far are the ones below, but I am still not sure if they are actual buffer tables..

In class cl_crm_orgman_scenario_sale there is a method Start Buffering, but in other methods,
I see other tables such as:

Buffering for CRM Organizational Data 
To improve system performance, you can use the HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE program for buffering organizational model and attributes.
Call up view T77OMATTR via SM30 and select the buffering field for each scenario to buffer corresponding objects.
Execute the HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE program every morning (after 0:00 hrs) before starting your systems. This time of after 0:00 hrs is important for starting up the buffer for the current day, as data for organizational management is time-dependent.
We recommend you schedule the program each night as a background job.
You can also influence performance through Customizing of org data determination by using the Responsibility rule type.
Responsibility determination rules determine the required organizational unit (or required partner) without evaluating the organizational model. That is why determination rules of this rule type perform better.
How to use this report is also mentioned in the documentation of the report itself.

    Gurus, i have an issue with Org. Model, an Org Model was created and transfered from  customizing box to testing box, then one error was issued when running HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE  report:  "missing COUNTRY for xxxx org unit".  then I checked it in ppoma_crm and HRP1000 table to solve it, but it does not exist in the system, so my Org, Unit determination rules are not working due this error.
    Has anyone gotten that error for  that kind of ghost Org Unit, how can I figure it out??

    You can set breakpoint at message -> get line in program there message appears and follow solve the problem.

  • No 'Sales and Distribution-data' in COMMPR01

    Hi All,
    I've download products from R/3 to CRM and eveything worked out fine, except the following: I don't see any 'tuples' assigned in the 'Sales and Distribution-tab' in COMMPR01. There is also no possibility to assign a tuple in this tab, because the button for 'assigning' is greyed out and I don't want to assign a tuple for every product manually.
    Before downloading the products, I've created a org. chart which seems to be fine. In this org chart you can see the correct sales organization and distribution channel. Besides that: 'Obj. Permitted in Determination' is checked.               
    Can somebody help me with this issue? So how do I incorporate a tuple in the 'Sales and Distribution-tab'?

    Please check the following:
    - The value for attribute Tuple(distribution channel,division) in Attributes tab of scenario SALES is not maintained for transaction PPOMA_CRM (Maintain Organizational Model)
    Also, the problem might be the buffer is not getting updated.
    Please check the following steps in your system.
    1.Check flag 'Obj. Permitted in Determination' checked on the attribute
    tab in TA PPOMA_CRM for the organization Unit in question
    2.Check the buffering for SALES/SERVICE is switched ON in table T77OMATTR
    3.Report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE be executed on a
    regular basis -> Please see documentation of this report

  • Service Desk: Can't find Support Team when creat.message in satellite syste

    Hi all,
    strange thing:
    In service desk I customized the partner determination rule for the support team with the rule AC13200137.
    (In the rule pretty much everything is filled with * )
    a) when creating a message via transaction NOTIF_CREATE within solman itself, the support team can be determined without any problems.
    b) when creating a message in a satellite system via ->Help ->Create Support Message, the message gets created in the solution manager, but the support team could not be determined.
    In the action log for "when message is created, find
    support team responsible" the protocol is red.
    Details of the log:
    - green: Date and time stamp
    - green: Processing CRM_DNO_PARTNER_1 is started
    - red: Rule container does not exist
    - red: Actim could not be successfully executed
    Any idea why this is acting differently ?

    It might be because of the buffer synchronization problem , you can try executing the program
    HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE
    in se 38 and see whether the responsiblites that you created are getting updated.Its because of the master data change and some time it take a longer time to get updated in the database .

  • Pricing Procedure could not be determined

    Hi..
    basic doubt -- but causing issue.
    I have assigned the combination of sales area + Doc. Pric Proc + Cust Pric -- > Pricing Procedure in customizing.
    customer pric prc. -> assigned to BP sales area , billing data (Also seen on Prices tab of transaction)
    Doc pric proc - > assigned to the transaction used.
    Sales area of transaction -- > same as used to assign pric proc
    Still error creating transaction - TA standard order, Message no. CRM_PRIDOC_COM401 - Pricing Procedure Could not be determined. Also the error says to assign a pricing procedure to the combination of sales area + doc pric proc + cust Pric proc which I have already done.
    But on the prices tab of transaction I cant see the "Pricing Procedure" and a blank screen on Conditions Tab of transaction.
    any clue.. pl help

    Hi,
    Please check again if your SALES AREA at header level is picked correctly and which matches with the SALES AREA in the PRICNG procedure determination
    ALSO if the above is maintained correctly, it might happen that you have created the transaction earlier then you have assigned the sales are to the Customer along with the BILLING tab information.
    Run one report
    HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE
    If you have done the second one then just delete the customer, assign any other customer with which this issue would not appear and the error would go. Now again delete the customer and reassign your previous customer and check.

  • Sales area Upload CRM to SAP R/3 Middleware

    Dear SDN team,
    We are facing a Unique Isssue when replicating a Sales area data of a BP from CRM to SAP R/3 .
    The versions are SAP CRM 5.2 and SAP R/3 4.6c
    Problem : We have created a BP with Role "Prospect" initially in CRM and added a Sales area to same using CRM Web UI. Now we upgrade the Prospect to a Role "Sold to Party" and later deleted the old Prospect role .
    Through Middleware Delta events , the Business Partner in Role "sold to party" is successfully getting replicated to SAP R/3 system with General data .
    But the Sales area is missing . Why is this ??
    One more point is that , when we manually change the Sales area in CRM again and save the changes made , the Sales area is flowing into SAP R/3 system automatically . this is strange for us !!
    Why is the Sales area not getting replicated into SAP R/3 system automatically whereas the General data of the BP is getting replicated ??
    Please help us ..Point will be rewarded for the correct answer.

  • Sales office data missing after patching in CRM

    Hi,
    We have CRM 4.0 for internet sales.
    Recently, we patched our Development and QA CRM systems from SAPKU40009 to
    SAPKU40016.
    Immediately after the patching, we see that the Sales office information in the BP (Sales area- organization tab) is missing.  We have only one Sales org and Dist channel with division not active. All the sales office belong to the same sales org. Nothing has changed w.r.t org model before and after patching and all the org units are checked for determintation.
    Everything was working before the patching. Just after patching, we find the sales office information blanked out in the BP and as well as the drop down list is empty.
    I can see the sales office table entries for all the BPs in CRMM_BUT_SET0140. But when ichange the BP data (for some other field) and save, the table entries get deleted as i am not able to assign the sales office any more.
    We have not buffered the attributes. I tried that also and ran the report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE, but it is of no use.
    Can somebody help?

    Hi ,
    What you can do is,
    Create a request for a material whose Sales Area data is missing in
    CRM , and perform the request load in transaction:R3AR4.
    And please check whether sales area data flows to CRM.
    Put a filter in txn:R3AC1, to download single material or material
    range.And before performing an initial load in txn:R3AS,please make
    sure that sales area data is missing in CRM.Now, perform the initial
    load in txn:R3AS.And please check whether sales area data flows to
    CRM.
    Check the  filter settings in transaction R3AC1 for
    object MATERIAL and please make sure that it would bring down all
    the expected materials from R/3 along with the sales area data. I guess there is some
    filter setting which is blocking it.
    Please check the entries you have maintained in table MVKE - the entries
    for the sales data maintained here must match with the ones maintained in the
    filters.

  • Business Partner in Organizational Model Missing

    I have added an Org Unit in Development Server and the ID and BP number is generated.
    I have Transported from Dev to Quality server by using RHMOVE50 to move the org unit.
    The Org unit and ID are transported successfully but the BP number is missing.
    Note: Earlier for all other Org Units in Qulaity the BP Number exist.
    Please prove me solution and points will be rewared.

    Apart from the above steps given by others you can also follow these steps as they did work in my scenario, this generally take some hours for the system to generate the BP ids so its better to schedule these activities in the evening so that when the Ids would be visible the next day I dont know whether this is a standard but this did happen in my case as i had to create the org structure twice so i had this experience twice.
    Scenario when the buffering is not done and the Business partner id is not getting created in ppoma_crm
    Check Settings for Attribute Maintenance
    Check the consistency of the attribute assignments to the organizational units.
    1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:
    Transaction code SPRO

  • CRM IC Webclient - Massive Performance Problems Searching in Agent Inbox

    Hi Forum,
    can somebody help me. We have massive Search Performance problems in Interaction Center Webclient in Agent Inbox. When agents searching, for example for open emails, the time to get a result takes approx. 2-3 minutes.
    Thats absolute inadmissible and endangered the running business.
    The queury reading the eMails from the workitem tables is very very slow.
    Could somebody help me with ideas to solve this big performance problem. Have somebody the same problems?

    Another aspect you could check is the following:
    Analysis performed didn't show anything strange nor any high consumers
    of the response time. The processing time occurs, since IC-Web on CRM 5
    is a bit demanding for CPU power.
    The only thing that could improve the performance a bit is the
    <b>buffering of org structure</b>, which is currently switched off for
    SALES and SERVICE scenarios as per table T77OMATTSC.
    The report <b>HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE</b> is running regulary
    however no scenario is being placed in the buffer to speed up
    org structure read. Please check this and provide feedback.

  • Sales Area is not visible in CRM for the products downloaded from R/3

    Hi Experts,
    Our client is using CRM 2007 and R/3 4.7.
    connectivity was established via Middleware.
    Before downloading the materials from R/3 we have done the following things
    1. Following customizing objects were downloaded
    DNL_CUST_PROD0
    DNL_CUST_PROD1
    DNL_CUST_PROD3
    DNL_CUST_SALES
    DNL_CUST_S_AREA
    2. Org structure was copied from R/3 using the Tcode - CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE.
    3. All the required sales are were correctly maintained( Downloaded ) in the org structure and under attributes tab " Object permitted for determination was selected".
    4. Executed the report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE.
    After down loading the materials also we have executed the above report.
    But the sales area details are not coming with the product.
    Not: If I try to create a product in CRM I was not able to assign Sales area, ASSIGN button was in disabled mode.
    Could you please guide me to solve this issue.

    Can you please check if all the condition tables are replicated correctly from R/3 to CRM. Eg ZDNL_COND_A805 and DNL_COND_A191.
    I hope the initial download for the same would be completed.
    Because there might be some fields relating to Material and Sales Area in these condition tables, which might not have moved to CRM.
    Thats the reason I am asking to check.

  • How to create/choose a sales organisation?

    Hello everybody,
    i am working with mySAP CRM trying to create a marketing campaign. I am struggling how to create / use a sales organisation.
    What i can do is create a sales organisation (within "create organisation modell", sorry using the german version, so definitions are maybe not correct)
    When i now want to create a Product catalog, i have to choose a sales organisation, but it just say "no values found"
    So my question is, is there a need to activate my sales organisation, or is something else wrong.

    Once you make changes to org model, if it has to be visible for applicaitons working on the model. You have to perform the following activity:
    1. Goto SAP CRM IMG Menu: Customer Relationship Management ->Master Data -> Organizational Management -> Tools -> Update List of Organizational Objects
    Execute the object for Sales Org.
    2. Also Check the consistency of the attribute assignments to the organizational units in the SAP CRM IMG Menu: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Organizational Management -> Tools ->Check Settings for  Attribute Maintenance
    3. Also, perform Org data settings check in the SAP CRM IMG Menu: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Organizational Management -> Tools -> Organizational Data Settings Check
    4. Execute Report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE is used to buffer the attributes of organizational management objects. To enable buffering you have to maintain view T77OMATTR.
    Use transaction SE38 to execute the report.
    Try doing these, it might help you.

  • Organisational Unit Authorization not getting effected

    Hi gurus,
    I m facing problem while providing the authorization.We have an role base authorization structure.I had provided as * in organisational leve for all plants or shipping point or any org element for master roles.But when I m copying the master role to derived role and in that when i mention the respective plant in org level it doesnt gets effected at the hirearchy below.It shows there as * only.Scenario is Org level authoirzation is not getting maintained at the heriarcy level below.

    I think buffering CRM sales areas might help you.
    In CRM the sales areas are represented in the organizational model, this means they are not physically stored, but they are the result of the different combinations of sales organizations, sales offices, sales groups, channels and divisions maintained in the organizational model.
    Whenever a CRM transaction or a business partner needs the sales areas, they are calculated, and this is an expensive process. To speed up this process, the sales areas are buffered.
    Report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE is used to buffer the attributes of organizational management objects. To enable buffering you have to maintain view T77OMATTR.
    1. Go to Tcode : OOATTRCUST
    2. Select the structure node Scenarios.
    3. Flag the field in the column Buffering for the scenario SALE.
    4. Choose Save (Ctrl+S).
    Then run the report in Tcode: sa38
    1. Tcode: sa38
    2. Select the report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE.
    3. Flag the fields Delete All Buffers and Restructure Buffer on (Date).
    4. Choose Execute (F8).

  • Org determination from Sales area

    Guys,
    Here's the scenario..we have downloaded all Org structure from R/3. I need the sales org, sales office & group to be determined from the sales area maintained in the BP master data. Currently all BP's have only one Sales Area assigned.
    The structure looks like this ..
    XY10 - Sales Org Unit
       XA01 - Sales Office
            XG01 - Sales Group
            XG02 - Sales Group
    I have checked all of them as Object Permitted in determination. (well if I don't ..then they are not available for selection while maintaining sales area data for BP). I am using the standard Rule '10000144' (Sales area Inc Master Data'). the problem is automatic Determination is failing because its proposing all the Sales offices & sales group as well for Sales Org.
    How do I make it to select the one Sales Org only? the same determination should also work when I create and replicate a Sales order from R/3.
    Another issue. When I did a consistency check(For Obj permitted in determination) for the Sales office(XA01), I get a error "Attribute IS_SA_ORG can only be assigned once within the assignment hierarchy".
    Any suggestions on how to overcome the above issues?
    (Note: I am already aware of the buffer update report 'HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE' and I run it every time I make any change.)

    Guys,
    I have created my own rule and it works sucsessully. i still have the consistency check for one of the Sales Office.
    Here's my new problem. When I download the sales order from R/3, it determines the Sales Org but is unable to determine Org unit. (If you look in Org tab of sales order, the Sales Org & Org Unit are two different fields). I looked at the log and found that for some reason its finding more than one Org unit!
    I tried to create a new Order in CRM with the same BP and the rule works perfectly and only one org unit is found. So for some reason the rule evaluation fails for downloaded orders
    Is there any note or setting that I am missing?
    Would appreciate any help in this regard.

    Org attributes for Division & Distribution Channel is a cobination called Tupel
    In the organization tab it is shown as follows
    Organization Unit - PLSG

    Distribution Channel - Z3
    Sales Office - PLSO
    Sales Group - PLSG
    No Division ?
    Why does org unit and Sales group have the same Code ?
    I have pasted the diagnosis of the error but cannot determine from that where I have gone wrong.

    The attributes assigned to the entered organizational unit (sales) in the organizational model do not correspond with the data (sales organization, distribution channel, sales office, sales group, on the item level: division) in this document. Organizational data are inconsistent.

    The system cannot continue to process the document. It cannot execute subsequent processes dependent on organizational data (for example, partner processing, pricing).
    Procedure
    You have the following options for solving this:
    Enter an organizational unit with the appropriate attributes. Use the input help. You can check the attributes of organizational units in Organizational Model
    Check the organizational model in CRM Customizing under Organizational Management -> Organizational Structure -> Change Organizational Structure. Change the attributes of the required organizational unit as required.

    Check the following for Sales Scenario
    1. For Sales Scenario activate buffering
    2. Select Attributes/Scenarios node and check for Attribute IS_SA_ORG is having inherit. Type as '0' and deactivate invisible
    3. Remaining org.stru. attributes like IS_SA_GRP
    N No inheritance
    3  IS_SA_OFF
    N No inheritance
    2  IS_SA_ORG
    N No inheritance
    1  All should be activated for invisible(tick)
    Run CRM_COM_ORGMAN_BUPA_INTEGRATE to update org.model.
    To improve system performance, you can use the HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE(need to run after MW replication to clear the buffer) program for buffering organizational model and attributes. Call up view T77OMATTR via SM30 and select the buffering field for each scenario to buffer corresponding objects.     We create stand alone Organiztional Model with Sales Organization, Sales Office, Sales Group structures.
    We have applied the SAP Note 1061972 and also weu2019ve been schedduling the  HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE report.
    We have in all levels of the organizational model the check u201Cconsider in determinationu201D.
    When we assign the Sales Area to the BP, we donu2019t have any problem whit that; we can see all the possible Sales Area.
    The problem occurs when we create business documents; the Organizational Data Determination doesnu2019t work in any rule for example the Rule:  10000144 u201CSales areas incl. master datau201D.

    I had similar issue a while ago.
    Steps taken to check the issue:
    1. Check the attributes of the sales office / sales group for determination. Eg. Postal Code / Country. etc
    2. Check if the correct org. determination rule is given in the Transaction Type
    3. Check for org. determination rule in the standard Transaction type and see if it is working good.
    4. If the BP is sold-to-party check and see if the Sales area data is maintained.
