HT1212 My iPod has been disabled for a few months now, and I haven't had a way to reset it. I just recently got a computer, downloaded iTunes, and here I am in need of help that nothing is providing me with.

I've been told to set my fourth generation iPod touch to recovery mode by turning it off, and holding the home button down, but my home button is cracked along with the bottom of my screen, so I have no way to do so.
If anyone knows of a different way to reset a disabled iPod, please help.
I logged into the iTunes account and it says it can not load because my iPod has a password.

A 4th gen iPod can not be upgraded to iOS 8. 7.0.2 is the high version it can run.

Everytime I go on itunes with my internet motem connected it shuts down my computer. It works fine if I have the internet off and no ipod plugged in, but as soon as i put my ipod in or use itunes with internet it shuts down and restarts my computer. I went to www.apple.com to see if i could just update the itunes and see if that works, but everytime i click on download itunes 9.2 it asks me to install it. You've got a problem with the drivers for your ATI Radeon video card. It's a bit odd to see that associated with being connected to the internet, but I've seen it cause blue screen crashes when an iPod is plugged in before.
Did the video card come installed in the PC when you bought it? If so, head to the Sony website and check to see if they have any updated video drivers for your particular model of Vaio (and particular model of video card).
If you've added the video card yourself to the Vaio, head to AMD and check to see if there's updated drivers there for your model of video card.
If you're already up to date on the drivers, or updating the drivers doesn't help with the crash, try reinstalling the video drivers.

Hi, Apple community! This summer, I dropped my phone in the water. Due to that incident, I got a new iPhone. Same one, it is an iPhone 4s. On the day of purchase of the new one, I came across a very bad problem... My home WiFi disabled my iPhone's connection, therefore not letting me to use any WiFi-making my 4G Data plan payments sky rocket(I use my phone a lot while I am on the go). After 3 weeks, I realized there was nothing I can do about it. I contacted Apple for help, and I was assisted by a kind gentleman named "Christopher". He went into detail with the problem I was coming across, and he gave me a list of ways to solve it. Unfortunately, after many tries, I was not able to solve my problem. So, today, I am contacting you guys to see if you know about this issue. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I have upgraded to i.O.S.7 just this morning, at around 11:57 to 1 AM (EST). Even then, nothing is working. I am looking into scheduling an appointment with a local Apple Genius bar. What should I do? Should I just take the phone into a Genius bar, or is there any other way of resolving this?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
