If you sync your iPhone with iTunes, open iTunes ->> Preferences ->> Devices Pane,
position the cursor over any of its backups. Your iPhone's serial number as well as phone number will appear in a popup window.

You must first make the purchase, then you will receive the serial number you are asking about. YOu do not acquire the serial number thru the software. You acquire it thru the purchase, possibly via a follow-up confirmation email.

To use an Apple ID, in the iTunes/App store, requires a payment method be associated with your ID. That can be either a credit card, or if no credit card, you can redeem an iTunes gift card. So, do you have a payment method associated with your account?

I previously had PS CS5 Trial installed but removed it using both Control Panel Programs and deleting all files from the CS5 directory on Program Files. I then installed a purchased product from Adobe disc using the serial number on the case. But when I try to launch it, I get a screen headed Photoshop CS5 Extended Trial. It asks for the serial number and says that my trial has expired. It rejects the serial number from the Adobe case saying "This Serial Number is not valid for this product". It thinks that I still have the expired Trial Version installed. How do I convince it (the program) that the Trial Version is long gone and the currently installed product was installed with a valid and accepted serial number????

I had InDesign CS3... which I upgraded in 2012 to CS6... two days ago my PC crashed... and I need to reload InDesign... I downloaded from Adobe.com InDesign CS6... but when entering my serial number, I got a message saying that my serial n° is valid but that there is no eligible product on my PC... I suspect that my serial n° is related to the initial C3 version I had bought... I guess that I could download CS3 from Adobe.com... and use my serial number... but how I do get back my CS6 upgrade? OK, here is the situation:
* I am an Adobe customer
* I bought in 2008 CSInDesign CS3 and I have the serial n° [removed by moderator] in my Adobe account (shows as Adobe InDesign, version = CS3, platform = Win)
* In 2012, I upgraded my CS3 to CS6 and I have a serial n° [removed by moderator] for that in my Adobe account (shows as Adobe InDesign, version = 8.0, platform = Win)
After my PC crash, I downloaded InDesign CS6 and use my serial n° of 2012. It doesn't work, as it says my product is not eligible.
So, here is where I stand now...
* I downloaded CS3 and used my serial n° for InDesign CS3. It works. I now have CS3 on my PC
* How do I get back my 'upgrade from CS3 to CS6?
* I have the serial number for that upgrage and I guess I need to download an "upgrade" file somewhere from Adobe. But I cannot find it, I found pages with upgrades, but there are so many different files, I do not have a clue which one to use;

I have buy 1 month of cretive cloud pack form adobe website today. I have installed creative cloud installer. edit: one more thing, during the "operations to sole the previus issues" I have installed photoshop and illustrator in italian, and flash in english. This works perfectly fine for me BUT when I open cc to download others programs I see on the downloaded app only flash, is because the setting are in english? how can I update eventually phtoshop and illustrator in the future? do I have to change back to Italian? -
Product Registration doesn't accept the Serial Number of my Time Capsule

I've bought a Time Capsule 500GB a couple of months ago (at Apple Store - Fort Lauderdale) and several times I've tried to register it's Serial Number at Apple's Product Registration website. I always get the same error when I type the SN: "We could not recognize the serial number you entered. Please re-enter it, making sure each letter or number is correct."
The problem is that I've checked the SN several times (physically at the bottom o TC and via AirPort Utility) and the SN is CORRECT.
Have anyone faced this problem before?I just had this problem today. I received my TC for Christmas and my parents bought it a week before the holiday from my local apple store (Norfolk, VA). I have been having other problems with my TC and wanted to get online support, that's when I first discovered the problem with the SN. I attempted to register it online with my already existing apple ID and it still didn't work. I finally called tech support. I didn't tell the guy I was having problems registering it with the SN, he typed it into his computer and didn't say anything. After attempting to trouble shoot my other problem I told him about the issue with the SN. He did say that when he put in my current SN that it brought up a message saying that there was "no support" for my TC. I had read that there is complimentary phone support for a certain amount of time for Mac computers and iPhones, but I guess there is not for the TC (what BS!!). Either that or he kept saying that my parents must have "bought it early." I didn't ask this, but I should have, if that meant that there was no warranty on it?? But anyhoo, long story short (sorry for rambling) because he put in my SN and my existing information it automatically registered everything and when I logged back onto apple.com and went to get online support (because the problem wasn't fixed) my TC was now listed as my registered products. You may just have to call like I did. I have no clue why though??

No. Apple cannot track it. Yes, the passcode can be cracked.

- No. The SN will only help idenify the iPod as yours if it is recovered. Apple will do nothing
- If youu hadturn on FIndMyiPod and wifi is on you may be able to find its general location by going to icloud.com, signing in and going to FindMyiPhone,. However, that can be defeated by turing the iPOd off or restoring the iPod.
- Report it to the police and change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod.
