I have in my ipad icloud backup window open and I can't close and I can't do anything I tried to press OK and nothing happen is freezing
Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The icloud backup window appeared on my ipad screen. I pressed Ok without thinking and everything on my ipad seems to have locked. And the icloud backup window won't go away.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until the iPad restarts, so you will be able to use the device again -
My ipad is locked up. A message stating that an icloud backup has not been done for 5 weeks. How can I get rid of this and prevent this from happening again?
This should get rid of the message once the iPad fully restarts.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
The obvious answer I would think is to backup the iPad on a regular basis so the message doesn't reappear - unless you are saying that you do backup and the message popped up anyway. -
Message on ipad "Icloud Backup" "This Ipad has not been backed up for two weeks. Backup happens when ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected
to wifi" I did this and message will not go away. ipad is locked and I cannot open. Have found nothing that address this problem. I need help.
ThanksA reset should help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart. No content will be affected.

Ipad stuck with icloud backup window - unable to access account
My iPad is stuck with the icloud backup window showing.
Both the Ignore button and the Settings button are ignored (they blink when I touch them, but nothing happens).
I cannot power off. No other icons on the screen respond.
I plugged it in, but that did not change the symptoms.
The wi-fi is working just fine for all my wireless devices.
I have been hitting ignore to the icloud backup notice for some time now since I changed my Apple Password as I have nothing on the iPad that I wish to back up.
Now it is unusable and I need it this afternoon for my facetime with my daughter in Australia.
Help.
JimTry a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignor the off slider if it appear. Then turn the iPad back on using the On button.
Not sure if this will resolve the issue, but shouldn't hurt. -
TS3992 the iCloud backup window blocks access to my mini iPad, what to do?
The iCloud backup window blocks access to my mini iPad, what to do?
Previous posters on different threads to same issue stated that resetting iPad by simultaneously holding down Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds will initiate a hardware reset (ignore the slider to shutdown) and clear the issue.
Prior to upgrading my iPad to 6.1.2, it went into the same iPad bricking modal dialog. Apple has an OS issue that needs to be resolved. User's shouldn't have to restart their iPad because of an iCloud backup timer. I couldn't use my iPad for a week on vacation because of this error and I didn't know the reset trick. -
My old iPhone (I no longer have) is still an active device on my iCloud backup list. Is it safe to delete it? Can I be sure everything on the cloud for that old device has been transferred?
The only way the backup from ilcoud has been transferred to a new apple device would be if YOU restored the new device with the mentioned backup. There is nothing 'safe' about you deleting this backup if in fact you have not restored the new device with this backup.
Good luck Friend. -
I can't back up to icloud on my iphone. I have 25 GB of icloud backup storage, but it won't give me access to backup to it. How do you fix. My phone is almost full. How can I start using the icloud storage?
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable. -

iPad is locked up with iCloud backup window. The ignore and settings buttons do nothing. It is like the iPad is locked up
If you are unable to cancel or power down, try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost. -
I have erased my Ipad remotely thinking it was stolen. It has now been returned, but I don't want to switch it on and erase all information. Can I reverse the erase? If not, how do I restore the info?
You can't reverse the erase.
Restore from your iTune or iCloud backup. -
Hello,
I purchased a new iPhone 5S yesterday and started to use a former iPhone 4S iCloud backup to restore it but as it took 2.5Go of "others" space I decided to reset the iPhone and start from scratch.
I have now properlly restored my new iPhone and would like to remove the old iCloud backup but when I try to erase it (from iCloud submenu or my Mac's iCloud "manage account") it says that it can't be removed as it is being used to restore an iDevice. Is there a way to do that ?
Thanks in advance
BorisIf the lock only came from restore of someone else's backup, you can get rid of that by doing factory restore. That will not help you if your story is not true.

I have a new ipad 2. The mail program refuses to send forwarded emails because the recipient "doesn't accept relays." My desktop and Blackberry forward emails to those recipients without difficulty. Help.
I suspect that you are using the Forwarding option within Workgroup Manager, and this works outside of the postfix alias scheme. I think you should just set those users you are forwarding to, to normal mail users, and put their forwarding rules ALSO in the alias file, so you would have:
MAILER-DAEMON: postmaster
postmaster: alex,yong
alex: [email protected]
That should do it. You really have to commit to either using Workgroup Manager or Postfix in their entirety. They don't really work too nicely in conjunction with each other. -

Was downloading the os 6.1.3 software and the iPad seems to have frozen. Have tried the off button but nothing happens. Doesn't indicate that the power is on.
Then try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
