HT1414 The screen is non responsive, does not work to touch. I have restored it 3 times now. Is there a permanent solution to this problem ? We have a total of 6 Ipods in this house not including Iphones. I keep loosing purchased apps!!!
This is the 3rd time in less than 2 months that I need to restore my Ipod 3rd gen because it does not respond to touch commands. What can I do to resolve this problem ?
If it keeps happening after restoring to factory settings/new iPod (not from backup) that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod touch suddenly stopped working. It was fine earlier, but when I went back a few hours later, the screen had gone black and I was unable to turn it on. It is now unresponsive and my computer does not recognize it when it is plugged in. I thought it just needed to be charged but there seems to be a larger issue now. What should I do?
Let your ipod die. Then when it is dead charge it adn turn it back on. After that it should be fine.

hello..i have IPhone 4S i did reset to factory settings by fault and till now after a 2 hours waiting (as known it takes a 1 to 2 minutes maximum) there is nothing just a blank screen and a running waiting icon in the middle of the screen and none of home or turn off button are responsed so i do need your help plz & thanks in advance..
Try to reset it by holding the power an home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release. If it won't reset, you'll probably have to force it into recovery mode and restore it, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.

Problem: my iPhone 4S (1yr old) has started buzzing for no apparent reason. I cannot stop it or turn the thing off. The screen is black and does not respond to touch. Any suggestions?

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.
If that does not work, restore the iPad to the factory settings. -

Having horrible service with 4GLTE I have had 3G for several weeks (I am not the only person I know having this problem), I have reset my network settings and it did not resolve the issue. I am also unable to send SMS and text messages without them either failing or not sending at all. Is there an outage in the Cleveland, Ohio area (zip codes 44129, 44134, 44137) or anything else I can do to resolve this issue?
Not that I'm a Verizon employee, but I have experience in the field. An LTE tower will only extend up to, on a perfect day, with no elevation, 6-7 miles. On a typical day, you will be lucky at four (4) miles. The three ZIP codes you've given are all within about a 12 mile radius. That would mean that 2-3 towers are currently down at the same time, and Verizon would know about it within the hour. Being it's Cleveland, I'm sure they would receive numerous calls regarding an outage of that size.
My point is that if you're having issues in all three ZIP codes, chances are it's a phone issue. If you're handset is simply not receiving LTE, but still receiving 3G, that would signify a SIM card issue. You need to get your SIM card replaced. -

If the checkbox at the bottom marked

is checked, uncheck it and test.

If any applications are listed on the right and have a checked box next to them, uncheck all the boxes and test. You may first have to click the padlock icon in the lower left corner of the window and authenticate as an administrator to unlock the settings. -
Have a 4S after udpating software I can no longer use it. Black scrren with apple log is all I have. Have restore it 3 times and it worked then had another small update and this is now what I am left with.

It sounds like you are unable to boot your phone completely. I recommend resetting the phone with this process:
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
