HT1414 When I cut my iPad on, it goes to a grey screen that say [iPad]. I can't do anything with it. Any suggestions?
I got this from a friend. She said it worked when she first got it and then one day this appeared and I can't get it to work again. Can anyone else help
I am not sure if I understand you correctly, try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

I've tried a dozen times to update from 3.1 to 4.2 and continue to get a corrupted message from iTunes. Please help
I only have a desktop, an iPad and the touch. No other prob. Downloading or updating. It appears to be with iTunes only as it will go thru the 15 min download but then will end with a message saying its corrupted try again later. I've scanned the computer and no other issues.

My ipad has frozen with a sign which says cannot access icloud account, can either press ignore or settings and whichever I press it wont let me. It has frozen it and wont even let me close down or go onto anything else...
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons

When using imovie for Ipad, how can I fast forward a project to cut the length down to fit under the 15 minutes required for Youtube? My current project is 23 minutes, and need to cut it down below 15 minutes. I was hoping to speed up the video. The content would actually be better viewed in at a faster speed anyhow.

It sounds like you did, just as you should, Save_As and Delete everything that is unwanted. If you did the Deletion from the Timeline, there should be nothing from the old Project, that should be included. A DVD is Transcoded and burned from the Timeline. If the Assets are not there, they will not included in the DVD, even if you did not Delete anything from the Project Panel.
Tell us about the Clips now on your Timeline. Also, can you check the Timeline, by hitting the \ (Backslash key), and looking near the end of the Timeline. Do you have any "orphans" out there? Check all Video Tracks, even if you have to scroll to see them all. Does the Duration of the Timeline (viewed in the Program Monitor) match what you think that it should? If not, then you most likely have orphans, that you missed Deleteing.

I have the new IPad and can't connect via bluetooth to any of my apple devices (IPhone 4s and appleTV) neither from my new IPhone 4s. When I turn the Bluetooth on, both devices keep in searching mode... I don't know what to do now... Please help... I can't pair any device because they can't find whitin themselves.

Hi, my iPad dies in the middle of a purchase for a game add on, when I charged the iPad and reloaded the game a box is on the screen that says " cannot complete your purchase" I can't slope this box, and cat play the game while it is there, I have tried removing the game several times and reinstalling but the box still appears, I even tried installing the game on a different apple I'd, and still the box is there, do you k ow how to fix this?

I have a message box on my iPad screen that says,
"iCloud Backup" This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi.

Mail on my Mac computer does not update when I update my mail on my iPhone and iPad. Can anyone help me with this? Is there a setting that I need to check?
All that you had to do was to sign into the old account in order to update those apps. What I mean is that you just needed to sign into that account in the store settings like I described and that should have worked. You didnt need to enter the credit card information again - you justed needed to use the old ID and password.
Anyway, I think the good news is that if everything else is OK with the new account, just download iBooks with the new ID - it's a free app so its not like you have to pay for it again. I'm not sure what the other App is that you are talking about - but if it is the Apple Store App - that is free as well.
Try this anyway, when you try to update iBooks, just use the old password if the old ID still pops up.
Did you try signing into the store settings with your new ID and see what happens with the updates then? -
There is a little camera icon on a movie clip when I try to import it to iMovie from my iPad. I have reimported several times with the same result. When I disconnect the iPad I can no longer view the clip. Help!
