HT1420 I want to deauthorize two computers that I no longer use.  One computer, lenovo, is no longer working and the compaq computer is now used by someone else.

I want to deauthorize two computers that are no longer in use.  How can I deauthorize computers that I no longer have access to?

Use the Deauthorize All function or log into those computers over a VNC connection.

Problem ocurred on Windows XP, Acrobat 9 Standard.  Believe error was 138:4 - licensing error
Solution using Windows XP, Administrative tools under Control Panel
    Control Panel – Select
    Administrative Tools – Double Click
    Services – Double Click
FLEXnet Licensing Service (Right click and select Properties)
General Tab: Startup Type – change “Disabled” -> “Automatic”   Press Apply.
Recovery Tab: 1st, 2nd, and Subsequent Failures – change “Take No Action” -> “Restart the Service”  Press Apply
General Tab: Service Status – press “Start Button”  Press Apply
Services window – check FLEXnet Licensing status = “Started”
Verify fix by starting Adobe Acrobat 9 (rebooting not required).

  • HT1420 i want to Deauthorize my other accounts so i can authorize my computer that i use

i want to deauthorize my other accounts so i an authorize my computer how do i do it when i dont have the other computers

    Hi Christellethomp,
Sign onto your account in iTunes and click on View Account. Once you have the account info page open you will see a "Deauthorize All" option next to the Computer Authorizations section. Click on that to deauthorize all computers associated with your ID. (note: you can only perform a "Deauthorize All" once a year. You can continue to individually deauthorize computers as you wish).
    Cheers,

  • I need to deactivate Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for mac on two computers that I no longer have access to.

    How do I do that?

    Hi ,
To deactivate Acrobat from your machines ,you could simply uninstall the software from both the computer and it will automatically deactivate the software.
The second option to deactivate the product is to connect with the Adobe support .They could guide you on how to deactivate the software from your end or would do it from their end .
If you wish you could refer the following link to connect with them .
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html
Please click the Blue "Still Need Help" button to connect to one of the Adobe executives .

  • HT1420 i need to de-authorise a computer for itunes but the computer is no longer working and the other computers which have be authorised have also been thrown away. How can I manage this problem?

i have previously had computers authorised for itunes but all have been thrown away or are now so broken that they do not even turn on! Please can someone tell me how I can de-authourise them and authorise at least 1 new computer? I have lost alot of music etc from CD's but I'd at least like to be able to get back what I bought from itunes.
    Many thanks for your help.

Follow the instructions in the article from which the question was posted to Deauthorize ALL computer then authorize the one's that you actually have/use.

  • My Itunes Library is on a laptop that is no longer working and on my Iphone 4.  How do I move the music library from my phone to my new laptop and Itunes?

I need to import my Itunes library from my Iphone 4 to my new Mac laptop.  My old laptop is not working and now my Itunes Library only exists on my Iphone 4.  I want to get the Iphone 5, but would only get the songs that I purchased thru Itunes and not my entire library.

    Follow the directions here:

  • TS1389 i am trying to buy movies. they say i must deauthorize other computers that are no longer alive.

i no longer use at least two of the other computers i once authorized but i cannot get them to work to establish the task of deauthorizing.. i have been purchasing songs recently and they have been downloaded onto the one and only computer that i have exclusively been missing for over a year. now i want to purchase movies and i am prompted that i cannot purchase them unless i deauthorize this computer which is the only one i use. i have no interest in authorizng any other computer in the future except the one i am on right now.  PLEASE HELP

There will be a button in your iTunes Store account information that will allow you to deauthorize all systems associated with that account. Log into your Store account and you should see it. You can then reauthorize the computer you're using now.
    Regards.

  • I have two computers, if I delete songs from one computer will it also delete on the Cloud and on the other computer?

I have a macbook air for travel.  My itunes library is getting too big for this computer.  If I delete music on this computer, how can I be sure it won't also delete the same files on the Cloud and on my computer at home?

Use Windows Migration Assistant to copy all your user date to the MacBook.
See this -> About Windows Migration Assistant.
Using Home Sharing will transdfer the media files, but not the entire library (ratings, date added, artwork, playlists, etc.)
And as diesel vdub metioned, backup BEFORE you do anything.

  • We lost access to are computers in the last two month and we want to know how to deauthorize two computers from the itunes account can you please help us?

We lost access to are computers in the last two months and we want to know how to deauthorize two computers from the ituns account can you please help me please?

If you don't have access to the computers to manually deauthorize them (they were sold, stolen, etc), then you have to log into your account, deauthorize all computers, and then re-authorize the machine(s) that you want to have access. This page explains how.

  • TS2972 How do I deauthorize computers that I no longer have?

How do I deauthorize computers that I no longer have access to?  It's been a long time since I first started using iTunes and didn't think to deauthorize a computer when we took it out of service, or it crashed and then we couldn't take it out of service if we wanted to. So, now that I have a new MacBook, I want to authorize it with my iTunes account and the only option to deuthorize a computer is "deauthorize all" - or deauthoize from the actual computer (which I no longer have due to it crashing, etc..)
So, part two of my question -- if I have to choose "deauthorize all" will it affect anything in my current libraries?  I'm hoping I can just "deauthorize all" and then go to the specific computers I have now and reauthorize without losing any music, etc.  Is that a correct assumption?
    Thanks!

If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
Log in to iTunes,  go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauthorise all five, (Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months)  and then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time.

How do you deauthorize computers that are no longer functional?

i followed the directions to deauthorize one "fried" computer and one old Windows laptop i no longer use from my new MacBook Pro.  When i go into iTunes on my new MacBook Pro, however, iTunes says i still have 5 authorized computers and i can't set up my music on my laptop using iTunes Match.  I did not deauthorize all my computers because i still have an iphone and two ipads.  Now that i've invoked deauthorize, what am i supposed to do for the next 12 months until i can deauthorize again?

My laptop crashed completely and I need to authorize a new laptop to enable it sync with itunes. I have 5 computers authorized so I am unable to add another one so I need to unauthorize the bad laptop that is no longer working. How do I authorize new Laptop?

You can only deauthorize everything to do that. Click on Account under Quick Links. You can deauthorize all five there. But you can only do this once a year.

I need to deauthorize computers that I no longer own or have access to. How can I do this?
    Thanks

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
For more information on authorization and de-authorization: iTunes Store- Authorize or deauthorize your Mac or PC.
