My  IPAD Mini touch screen is not responding, it is showing a message icloudBackup but the back up is not happening and the system seems to be hanged?

Perform a "hard reset" on the device by pressing down and holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for up to 30secs. until you see a black screen with the Apple logo, then release.
Then test to see if it solved the problem.

Try giving it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and then see if your touch screen is back.

  • IPad mini touch screen borders not responding

My ipad mini touch screen borders aren't responding and I tried rebooting by holding the sleep and wake button, please help me.

    Hey there EMB08,
It sounds like you have noticed that the edges of your screen aren't responding to touch. You should use these steps to help troubleshoot the issue or seek service if needed:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Troubleshooting touchscreen response
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1827
Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Avoid using the device while wearing gloves, with wet hands, or immediately after applying hand lotion.
If you have a protective case, or if you are using a plastic sheet or film on the display, try removing them and testing the device without it.
If the steps above don't resolve your issue, please schedule a service appointment with an Apple Retail Store for evaluation. If an Apple Retail store is not an option, contact Apple to find out your best service option or see theService FAQ for your product.
    Additional Information
Tip: To isolate an issue related to a portion of the Multi-Touch display, follow these steps:
Open the Maps application and double-tap each corner, then the center, to verify that it zooms in to each section.
If a specific area is affected in another application, note the location and try to verify touch functionality for that location in the Maps application.
On iPhone and iPod touch, you can also use Calculator:
Open the calculator app to test all but the top row of the screen. Press each button on the calculator and verify activity.
To test the area at the top of the screen, rotate the device to change to the scientific calculator and press the buttons in the left or right two rows.
When speaking with a Mac Genius or Service Provider, you can use this information to assist with evaluation of your issue.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Regards,
    Sterling

  • Hello My iPad mini touch screen alone is activated and if I can do crazy

Hello My iPad mini touch screen alone is activated and if I can do crazy
    please help

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • IPAD MINI TOUCH SCREEN NOT WORKING

Ipad mini touchscreen stopped working.  Help?

If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings  (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
Again... how's he going to go to any of that when the touchscreen is dead?
My response adds value by eliminating that same copy/paste canned answers when clearly the question wasn't read.
How's your brain working when it's overwhelmingly obvious you missed the part about the TOUCHSCREEN not working...
Again, good advice Dr. Canned Answer... Home button and Power, sure... short of the buttons being broken as well, that might help...
The "if that doesn't work" part was clearly the rest of the waste when he can't get there...
This sums up your advice for fixing the touchscreen when the touchscreen is broken...

  • Ipad mini touch screen problems

I have been having problems with my ipad mini for at least a month or two.  I have only had it since May.  During use, it will randomly start zooming in and out.  It also will open and close links or apps that I haven't touched.  It seems like it's being remotely controlled.  Has anyone else had this problem?

clean the screen first slightly damp lent free cloth
    if persists
    reset all settings
settings- general- reset - reset all settings
    now reconnect to wifi
settings - wifi- click network name - enter password - join
if issue persists backup info and restore via itunes
    Peace, Clyde

  • IPad mini Touch screen broken

Touch screen was broken and would  like to replace the glass and the metal case.

The cost will depend upon what country that you are in. In the US Apple will replace the iPad (it's not repaired) for $219 (from here, add $6.95 if shipping is required), whilst here in the UK it's £209 (from here, add £7.44 if shipping is required).
You might be able to get it repaired cheaper elsewhere, but if it's not an authorised repairer then you will void any remainder of your warranty

  • My ipad mini's screen keeps glitching!!!! HELP!!

    hello,
i am having a problem with my ipad mini's screen, when i tap in one place, it starts tapping in random places.
for example, when im on the home screen and i slide to the next page it keeps sliding rappidly between pages.
not only that, on camera on video it keeps zooming in and out and stopping and starting videos over and over again.
and also it won't let me tap in certain places!!!
Please get back to me if you can,
    Thanks

If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore and you have IOS-6 or lower, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

  • I can't change my iPad Mini home screen wallpaper at all, not even a default. I can't change my lock screen either. Help! I'd rather not waste my time bothering with computer programs so please give me a SIMPLE solution if you can.

How do I change my seemingly unfixable iPad Mini Home Screen and Lock Screen wallpapers?

I tried that and that is what initially started this. I wanted a new wallpaper for my home screen and it didn't work so I reset it. The wallpaper is now zoomed in, I can't zoom it back out, and I can't change it to the new one I want. Plus, recently I had reset it and it stayed at the Appe logo and didn't move and I got scared that I'd never be able to use it again, I tried random things and it turned on again. I think I was just lucky so I don't want it to happen again. And yes I did look up how to fix it but it was really complicated so I just did what I mentioned.

  • Want to share an iPad Mini's screen online

Is there an easy way to share my Retina iPad Mini's screen (running latest version of iOS7) online, such that someone else on a desktop (Windows or Mac) can view what is on my iPad's screen (not interact, just view) through their web browser, or a free application?
I've had a google but it seems the only solutions I can find involve using AirPlay, which won't work for me.
Note: the 'viewer's' computer isn't on the same network, so would have to share across the internet.
    Thanks for the help.

The other solution that comes to mind is taking a screen shot.
You can take a screen shot of your iPad by simply pressing the home and on/off keys together quickly until you hear a shutter click.  You will then have an image of your screen on your Camera Roll that you could send to the other person.

  • I'm trying to use the slide to unlock bar but the iPad 3 touch screen is non responsive.

iPad 3 touch screen non responsive. How can I fix this?
I'm trying to use the slide to unlock bar but the iPad 3 touch screen is non responsive. How can I fix this!

I tried that step but it would not work. I think I may have changed a setting.
I was able to highlight a function but had to tap 3 times to get it to respond
to the command. I think it's some type of Restriction or Accessibility settings.
    Any suggestions?
