Worked like a charm and resolved my problem totally. The only issue I had is that, unlike the Computer (Mac OS). the iPad doesn't give constant visibility to what it is doing (feedback), so I wasn't initially sure it had done anything.
When I opened my emailed message with .vcf file attached, and tapped the .vcf attachment icon, I saw activity on the icon for just a few seconds, then it reverted to the original with nothing apparently happening. After about 30 seconds, the secondary menut popped up indicating the transfer of 1200 addresses would be completed, if I approved the action. Another 10 to 15 seconds then transpired before the completed Contact list appeared on the ipad. So you must be patient, if you have a large Addressbook. That's reasonable,but unexpected lack of feedback left me wondering, like so many other things on the iPad.
THank you for the assist. Apparently Apples Mac Genius people did not know this procedure, and I will pass it on to my local Apple Store Instructor.

Repeat run you can do only for the last depreciation period. For the asset which you are tryin to post depreciation from July to Jan, please check the asset value date which you have given while posting the transactions or in the asset master.
If the asset value date is in July, then deprecaition from July - Jan will get posted in the current month depreciation in total. You will not be able to post depreciation individually month wise using AFAB.

What exactly are you trying to do? PVRs are for recording from TV not computers.
Either way, if it's complaining about DOS mode, it's Windows oriented software and not Mac compatible.

Unable to create Business System with role Integration Server

hi Experts,
we are unable to create a BS with role of integration server, its throwing error with internal server 500.
please advise. we do not have any issues while creating TS with role of WEBASABAP.

Hi Kesava,
what is the purpose of creating a business system of type IS? This is automatically done in the post installation by CTC templates. So if the post installation is successfully executed, this should already be there. And if not you should check if the post installation was properly executed and if there where problems analyse why they occured.
The creation of the BS is just one part of the game, so I would highly recommend to execute the hole post configuration via template or follow the help.sap.com and execute it step by step manually in the described order. Otherwise i guess this will not work.
If there where just problems with SLD - please also have a look at SA Note 1117249 - Incomplete Registration of PI components in SLD

How to remove User IDs for deleted users from the Disk Quota list

We have a computer lab setup with an Xserve managing 15 stations in the lab. Users are setup with networked home directories and quota's are setup on the drive containing the home directories to limit users' storage.
The user account and the quota limit are setup with Workgroup Manager. When a student has been gone for a while and we are sure they no longer need the account we delete their account within Workgroup Manager and move their Home folder to the trash.
When viewing disk usage in Server Admin (by selecting the volume and clicking the Quatas tab) user ids for deleted users are listed and it still shows the disk usage and quota settings for the user.
How can I remove theses user ids from the quota list?
Any help would be appreciated.

For the unknown user, as you said, it's probably a user account from second OS or
action. If you're annoying about this unknown user, then you can remove all occurrences of granted rights to the specified SID with this command icals [/remove[:g|:d]] <Sid>[...]] [/t] [/c] [/l] [/q]

Update SAP System with other User ID (Not WF-BATCH)

Please read the below requirement and suggest me the solution:
I am implementing separation workflow for my client. Once the manager clicks on submit in MSS Portal, notification number (PCR) will be generated. User WF-BATCH starts the workflow and updates the Infotypes in SAP System. As per normal process, all the Infotypes are updated By (Changed by) user WF-BATCH in background.
As per my client requirement, the records should be updated by user BATCHUSER instead of WF-BATCH. Is it possible? How to meet this requirement? Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,
If the Infotype update via workflow, it will show WF-BATCH only. This you can't change, previously your client would have updated the Infotype via scheduling the background program through the User id BATCHUSER.
If the WF-BATCH update the right data, then there is No issue .

I recently purchased mountain lion for my mac book air.... The first few times i tried to install it it would download but would not install.... now it will not finish downloading.... I have no idea what to do.

Acquiring ID CS2 for old Mac - any conflicts?

I'm also stuck with my old G4 Mac; it is maxed out as far as upgrades.
G4 Powermac PPC, 667MHz, OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger), 1.5G RAM
I already own Photoshop / Illustrator CS2, and Acrobat 7.0, bought when they were current. I've been using Quark all this time.
I'm looking to buy a copy of InDesign CS2 if only to get familiar with it and avoid losing more projects simply because I don't have this app.
I'm looking at one online that appears to be sealed ($200). What are the complications, if any, of buying something so old? If it is as described, is there anything that would prevent it from operating? Does this old app require registration? What am I missing?
Any advice, including pricing or alternate ways to acquire ID CS2, is appreciated.

Don't want to dwell on the Cloud, but I do appreciate the info. As it is, Adobe detects my existing CS2 apps, yes? So, if there really is internet access, if only to enable/disable CS, that tells me a remote possibility exists that my files built in Cloud apps can be accessed from the outside. Which means I can't play. As I started doing creative work since well before desktop-anything, I've always guaranteed my clients' confidentiality, even if it is "only" commercial work.
Enough Cloud. I can't go there even if I want to. Need new hardware/software.

I sort of understand the version hierarchy, though not in detail. Almost all the work I do consists of creating original files (for print and web). Most often in the case of print, clients will take those files and have another party do future edits for cheap. At that point, it's their problem re: ID versions. I get assignments based on my creative chops.
As noted above, I'm maxed out system-wise (and money-wise). I can barely afford an old ID just to get familiar with it as a beginner, so I can either A) generate new files as described above, or B) fake my way through an on-site assignment or claim competency for employment opps.

That is ok but i want only one record be considered for reporting, not all records resulting into avarage.

Missing time, so unable to log into system with out changing time.

My issue is missing time. I have a lab with about 20 mac minis on the network for students to log in.
Some days the date and time are off by 6 hours so this prevents users form being able to log in.
We can log in as admin and change the time and date we can log in again.
Has anyone else had this issue where the time is behind about 6 hours?
I dont think it is a battery issue since the day is only behind and reverted back to orginal born on date.
Any assistance would be appricated.

Thanks for the info I will try chaning out the battery on a system and see if that works. Chaning out battery on these things is time comsuming and not an easy thing to do.
I just never seen this type of behavior before on any computer. I seen when batteries die and that will cause issues but not like this.
I will get back to you to award points if this does resolve the issue.

HT4313 once it has rebooted and entered the installation, i get the message "it cannot be installed on this computer", i have created a new Raid Set, ive zeroed out the disks, only 10.6 or 10.5 server is allowed

I can see the restart button mentioned, but i cant get past the message that it cant be installed when it has booted up with the 10.6.4 server installation disc.
So far:
Copied installation cd to a hard drive and booted from it.
Created new raid set (RAID 5)
Zeroed out information on disks
10.5 server had no trouble installing
10.6 sl had no trouble installing
I used to have 10.6 server installed on the intended mac pro.
However i need to reinstall and it is not possible.
Any help would be very much appreciated

Where did you get the 10.6.4 install disk? Did it come with some other machine?
I ask because it sounds like that's the case - and it may only work with the machine (or, at least, model) it was shipped with.
However, if you have another 10.6 Server install disk, even an older version, just go with that and run Software Update after it's installed. The chances are you don't really want 10.6.4 anyway, right, but something later.
