HT1491 my PC has an itunes account with my email; my IPAD uses my "me" account. How can I get the credit in the PC account onto my Ipad?
I have a windows PC with ITUNES 10 and an IPAD 2 running 5.0.
The PC has an ITUNES account with my windows email id. ITUNES will NOT let me change this to a "ME" account which is what the IPAD is using. If I change the IPAD to use the email account, my understanding is that apps purchased with the "ME" account will no longer work. How can I get the $33 credit from the email account onto the IPAD?
Qauzzy, The credit was applied to the account you used at the time you redeemed the card. There is no way to transfer the credit to another account.
You might as well just spend the $25 on the new account, and then stop using it and go back to your regular account..
For future reference, do not start a new account just because you have a problem with the code. Rather, follow the suggestions in this document: iTunes Store: Invalid, inactive, or illegible codes

One day, being stupid, I used my Comcasst email account to be my backup email account in case I forgot my security questions. Well I did. I did not know that Comcast deleted your email when you disconnected with their service. When I ask for my security answers, it sends it to that email. How do I fix what I've done? Because now, I can't download apps that I have to pay for.

Could it be so that I have deleted the old AppleID? All applications are still on the device, but I cant get them on new device. When I try to create a new id with an old email, it doesnt allow saying that the address is already occupied. It means the ID exists, but I cant get in... (I was trying to change address, just dont know if I succeed or not.)
Thank you in advanceSo For everyone that is having the issue of iCloud asking for an old email there is a very simple fix, as long as its a simple switch from one email to another on one apple ID account.
1. Sign into appleid.apple.com with your current ID.
2. Edit the primary email to the one requested. (You DO NOT need to verify the old email.)
3. Sign out of iCloud on any device using the old ID.
4. Edit the primary email (on appleid.apple.com) back to the desired email address.
5. Verify that email address.
6. Sign into iCloud with the correct email.
As for anyone that is unable to verify their account due to not receiving the verification email, contact apple support for further assistance. -

I downloaded some albums using my iphone (3GS), I then synced it with my PC. Now all the album artwork has disappeared off my iphone but not off itunes on the PC. How can I get the album artwork back onto my iphone?
I had the similar problem last night and found a solution (although it takes more than a few clicks). Highlight all the album tracks in itunes on the pc and right click "get info". Check the artwork box in this window. I found that the now playing art was showing up in the itunes window, but on songs that were missing artwork showed nothing in the get info box. When I replaced the artwork by using the artwork command, or manually adding it into the "get info" window. It was annoying but my iphone updated every album.

How can I get the phone numbers in contacts to appear with dashes between the first 3 numbers, the next 3 numbers, and the last 4 numbers? Until very recently
it did so. Contacts on my macbook pro does show up this way. I do have a mobile me account and in the past syncing was no problem. What setting has changed?The phone number format as well as the date language and format and the time format are controlled by the Region Format setting. The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside in order to purchase iTunes content.

How can I get a credit card re-instated with ITunes/Apple Store? It was blocked due to an ITunes billing error. Called customer (lacking in) service, but they were no help! The rep emailed that I had to get a new credit card No way.... --PB
Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

Maybe you have multiple accounts that's why your purchase history is empty. You can try checking for possible Apple IDs that's existing for you or you can ask for assistance from support.

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. -
