I have an iPAD2 and an iPAD mini and tried to upgrade to IOS 7.0.6 but both froze and I had to restore to factory setting (backup also did not work!). I was able to get most of my purchased books and apps from iTUNES (through my computer) but lost all magazine subscriptions. iTUNES is asking me to pay for them again. Has anyone else had a similar problem and do you know how to restore the subscriptions without paying for them again?
Thank you!Thanks for the feedback. The applications were there but the magazines themselves could not be downloaded without paying... What I had to do was go in the application and find the "restore purchases" button. It was hidden within the account settings but it solved the problem!

My computer was hacked using a softbank pocket wifi, I had to install an earlier version of the disc provided for my mac reset my user password and I still need to recover my administrator password that was altered. I have lost all of my applications already existing on my mac including iPhoto, and all other applications. I am wondering how to get them back? I am in Japan and I have proof of purchase in my iTunes, but on my computer all the allplications are blocked. I have no idea what to do to get them back. It is very annoying.

After I've updated IOS in my iphone, all the applications, musics are gone. How do get everything back? Thank you.
Plug it into iTunes, Control-click on the iPod in the left frame and select "Restore from backup." Should put it back like new.

For the second time in two weeks, my Iphone 4s has lost all my contact names. The phone numbers still remain without any of the names, What is causing this to happen?
1. I assume that that suggests that it is not normal for a browser window to respond with minimisation? It is just weird when a window just disappears, no reason given (and since there is no obvious loss of internet it can take you by chance)

4. It has calmed down but there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to it. Forgot to mention that I had my first ever crash of Final Cut Pro since I have been using it nearly daily for four years. I even had Chrome crash on me in mid-upload (drat, drat, drat!). I don't click or plough on- I stop, think and consider. Hence me posting. Mavericks is just not as "smooth" as Snow Leopard to me.

Tell me about it! It is impossible, I came here to answer via the link in the emailed notification, was already signed out and signed in and was returned to the front page. Had to go back to my Mail, click the link again and this time, luckily, I was signed in. In other words- the session is impossibly short and signing in doesn't return you to the browser window you were but rather returns you to the front. Meh. -
I rented a film from the store and download it on to my lap top i then moved it all ok to my ipad the following day my ipad restored to factory settings and i lost the rented film can someone please tell me how to get it back to either my laptop or ipad
Did you watch the movie on your computer?
You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.

I use Norton which has a feature called "Identity Safe." In the old version of Mozilla, the icon for this feature was available on my toolbar. Now that I have converted to the latest version of Firefox, the icon has disappeared and I cannot figure out to get it back. I can still activate the Identity Safe by opening Norton, but I want to restore the shortcut.
Symantec have made an update for their add-ons to work in Firefox 4, but they only listed them as compatible with Firefox 4.0, they need to update them to let them work in Firefox 4.0.1, they have indicated this will be happening soon. The ringtones purchased on iTunes simply disappeared from the iPhone 4S, were visible for a while on iTunes on the iMac, when the iPhone was connected but greyed out, I can't see it anymore though. I've tried to download it again from iTunes on the iPhone, but it only tells me "this item has been purchased before, would you like to buy it again?". Of course I don't want to pay twice something I've already paid for. Any idea how to get this fixed so I can use those ringtones again? Thanks in advance!
Uncheck them in the iTunes > Tones sync settings and sync, then check them again and sync.

How do I go back to the date my email account was hacked and retrieve my information?
Where is your basic address book? On Yahoo? Or outlook? Check those two. If are in Yahoo try to export from there and import to outlook. Then close contact syncing on emails account in your iPhone and sync through iTunes. Omes you have your contacts in iPhone open Contacts in iCloud settings (iPhone) and look if its syncs. If yes uncheck Contacts syncing in iTunes (under info tab) and keep syncing through iCloud.

After updating to FCPX 10.1.1 my shape mask starts waaaay off screen. Too far for me even to grab the center fully zoomed out. My friends mac had the same problem after the update. Anyone have an idea on what to do? Thanks

After installation of Firefox 4, I was asked to update my add-ons. After the program stalled when downloading the first one (Zotero), Firefox doesn't show any information on my addons anymore
This can be caused if one of the files that stores details of installed extensions is corrupt.

Hi everyone. My voicemail just stopped working. A caller today said they got a message that it was not activated or something like that. When I called it from another phone all I got was ringing for a long time and then a disconnect. I have had this phone for about three months and it has been working until now.
I updated software and turned the phone off and on again. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

I see there were several missteps both by the reps and yourself in your post. First you should have insisted on returning the phone within the 14 day return policy period. Second which Samsung Galaxy mini model did you purchase? The S3 mini or the S4 mini? Did you do any research prior to deciding on this device. The reps at that time deflected the easiest course of action, by trying to get you to replace the phone under insurance instead of returning the phone. The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter?
