HT1937 why when im not connected to wifi my iphone 4 will not let me facetime?
When i try and facetime out side of my wifi area it will not let me connected using 3g
Ask your cell carrier if they allow and support Facetime over their cell networks. Not all carriers do. If they do, check Settings/Cellular Data and see if "Use Cellular Data for Facetime" is turned on. If not, turn it on.

Try a soft reset or turn the device completely off then turn it back on again. Also you can toggle Airplane mode on for about 10 seconds and then turn it off. Sometimes that resets the radio signal inside the device.
A soft reset is basically holding onto the power button and the home button simultaneously together for about 10 seconds or until you see the screen flash and it should go completely black. Afterwards, tun the device back on like normally and see if that fixes the problem. -

Since updating to iOS7, my iPhone 4s is not connecting to Wifi. I'm not even able to try and turn it on through my settings. How can I fix this?
I'm not sure if this applys but when people updated to iOS 6 they encountered a issue that was the same as yours their wifi was grated out but the could see the toggle

my iphone says 'iphone is disabled connect to itunes' and when i do connect it, it says 'iphone could not connect to itunes because it is locked with a password and you need to unlock it but it doesnt let me as it is diabled???????

I was updating the software on my iphone4. I got a message saying that it could not update. Now my iphone will not reboot. It only shows a pic to connect to itunes, but nothing is happening when i connect it. How do I fix this?
If you're not a developer then you really should not have upgraded.
I'm unsure how you can fix this as you have already done a back-up on iOS 7 and apple don't support firmware downgrades. -

If this is you home wifi try resetting the router. Turn if off at the wall wait a minute and turn it back on. Are you sure you have the right password?

New Galaxy 5s. Trying to connect to a guest wireless that routes browser to a login screen. The wireless will not connect (gives authentication error), so will not pull up browser window. My previous Android did not have this problem (it would connect and immediately reroute to the login screeen).
Would you please try manually set the DNS address on client NIC to the IP of your server, then try run the connector again?

Recently bought a Pro. At home, it connects to wifi and internet just fine. On the road, it connects to wifi sites, but willl NOT connect to the internet, while Other devices, iPad2 and iPhone connect and browse just fine.

Help! My MacBook will not connect to wifi at home. All other devices do, but none of the MacBooks. Weird, right? I've tried every fix I could find in these forums and nothing works. Diagnostic test says network is working fine...
i sometimes run to these issues when i have my nieces and nephews visiting me and a lot of devices trying to connect to the same router - some will connect and others won't.
I solved my issue by getting into my router's settings and changing the channel - under the wireless section.
I also changed all my macbooks dns settings to the image below.
give that one a go and see if that helps you out. -
Imac G5 OS 10.4.11 Itunes will not connect to radio or store. Errors out check internet connection. Safari connects fine.
New downloads will not open i.e. ms office critical update, nor Filemaker re-validate registration, also new intaller of itunes 9.2.1 etc.
After clean install of 10.4 and all updates same problem.
Other 10.4.11 systems I have work fine on ibook etc.
Can I move the system app that opens .dmg files from OK system to imac? Would that even solve the problem?

As I went to open itunes, an error message came up saying "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again." No matter how many times I try, nothing restores the itunes store.
I have also had this problem in the past, and on another computer, but a representative told me to fix my security settings, which i did and it worked...but after trying it on my computer the change security settings did not help.

BB CURVE 8520 can connect to WiFi network but will not browse the internet
I am with ROGERS service provider. They have not been very helpful with my issue.
All they try and do is sell me a data plan.
They said call RIM.
I should be able to connect to a WiFi network and access the internet without paying any crooks to do so shouldn't I? Can someone tell me how I can do it?
