Hi, I am able to use Remote app on ipad to stream songs on pc ( iTunes library using home sharing ) to Apple TV. I would like to stream to bluetooth device. Is that possible?

My only guess at the error message is the very odd 13 frames per second recording. I don't know what to suggest.

Just create a new AppleID for your work.
As Allan suggested, items purchased on one iTunes account cannot be moved to the other account.
However, you can put items purchased on on account onto the other iPhone. -

No. You can redeem Gift cards directly in the Store Apps by tapping the "Redeem" button next to your Apple ID. Usually found at the bottom of the different tabs in the Store Apps.
You can set your payment method to none.
In fact that's what I do. I have no payment option set, and stick exclusively to gift cards. -
I have a lot of books on my Kindle/Amazon account. I have downloaded the Kindle app onto my IPAD mini by can only access my books when connected to WIFI, how can I read them off-line?
Yes, you've missed the download step.
Open the Kindle app and navigate to your Library. There is a tab at the bottom that says Cloud | Device. Tap the Cloud tab and tap the books you want to download to the device. You will see a progress indicator during the download. Once it's done, read away! -

iPhoto is not a Photo Viewer. It's a Photo Manager and designed for looking after the files while you organise the Photos. It really works much better if you let it manage those files. If you use iPhoto you never go near those files because iPhoto is your start point for anything you want to do with your Photos - the point of the pplication.
You can run iPhoto in Referenced mode, where it does not copy the files to the Library, but I caution you that you are making life a lot more difficult for yourself by doing that.

If you add music videos to Up Next playlist, then go to look at the album cover playing screen, then go to add another song from different playlist, you no longer can see Up Next, just go to full screen mode button. Using remote app iPhone 5 to play out of iTunes. It looks like it works fine for regular music, but for music videos you can't see your up next unless you go back on the computer to change once you've left the screen. When using the remote app, you shouldn't need to go to iTunes on the PC to view or edit Up Next already added. See first image, you can hit upper right and get back to Up Next (second image). Third image is music video, where you can't get back to Up Next, just swap between full screen and not. I hoped 3.0.1 would have the answer, no luck!

HT1947 iPad Remote App not picking up my .MP4 files on Server
Hi all, I've done everything in the guide article but when I open the App on iPad it says either "Connecting to your Library" or simply "loading" and just sits there for ages (all the time I've been searching the Community and writing this and its still loading - thats around half an hour at the moment). I have around 800 movies on a Synology DS413J so is it likely to be sheer volume slowing it?
The reason I want to use Remote App is that I thought it might give the option to display a list of movies via Apple TV that could be scrolled through or paged through or even searched because leafing through 800 Movie artworks one by one to select a movie to watch would take an age - I might as well walk into the study and put on the DVD!
Any help gratefully accepted.

JohnnymagWe might be having the same issue. What I have noticed is that the Itunes App shows all of my content when I search directly on my Itunes library, on the PC. But when I try to control my Itunes content through an Apple TV, all that I can see is the content that I purchased on the Apple store. Do you see any pattern to the issue?
I submitted a complaint to Apple and someone was working on it, but now it seems she is no longer at Apple. -

I use remote app a lot, but I find it quite basic in the display features.
I mean: remote is great to browse my music library and play songs with on my living room hi-fi while I'm sitting comfortable on my sofa.
But what if I would like to know the release date of the album, the name of the composer, and so on?
Is there any way to configure the remote app to display more?
Is any kind of new release of the app on its way?

This will give you two columns of photos.
To reduce the number of photos to select from one can select only Unplaced Photos to be displayed in the tray.

Can you use remote app on separate iPhones/AppleID's?
I am trying to get the Apple remote app working on my wife's iPhone5. We have two Apple TV's (v.2 and v.3) and would like to get her up and running to control them usng her iPhone.
The remote app works fine when using my iPhone4S and iPad2. When I launch the app, I see icons for each of our libraries and both Apple TV's.
When she launches the app, she can see both of our libraries, but neither of the Apple TV's.
Additional Info:
My wife and I each have itunes/apple ID's/libraries on our respective computers. (OSX and WinXP)
We both have Home Sharing turned on, on our computers and phones.
The Apple TV's have both of our accounts set up in the Store settings.
We can each access both libraries and send them to each Apple TV.
I've been seaching the forums and trying everything I can think of. Any help is appreciated!

Ipad no longer connects to internet after using remote app for apple TV
I can use the Remote app on my Ipad to connect to Itunes library through my apple TV but as soon as I do that, I can no longer connect to the internet on my Ipad. The network stays connected on my Ipad but no internet. I have to recycle the router (airport extreme) and power off the Apple TV. Once I do that I can then connect to the internet again. I am using a Mac Pro as my desktop with airport extreme as my router. All software is up to date. Appreciate any thoughts anyone might have. Its a pain to use that litte remote for my Apple TV.
My question: Is it normal for the internet connection to switch from an Apple Network to another network?
No.
You are probably connecting to a neighbor's wireless network. Unplug your base station and see if the network remains. -
Airplay icon missing using Remote app
I have an iphone 5, a 3th generation apple tv and an receiver Pionner Airplay compatible.
The apple tv plays streaming my music library stored on iTunes Match.
The songs are selected via the Remote app installed on my iPhone5.
While using Remote app, I can not send music from the ATV3 to the receiver Pioneer because the Airplay icon does not appear.
I also made these tests:
If I use the remote control of the ATV3 instead of the Remote app, I see and I select the Pioneer among the members Airplay compatible
If I use the Remote app to control iTunes server installed on a PC instead of ATV3, Airplay icon appears correctly and I see the Pioneer among the components Airplay compatible.
In conclusion:
Airplay functionality working correctly between ATV3 and receiver Pioneer only if I use the remote control of the ATV3, but does not work if I use the Remote app from the iPhone 5 (Airplay icon missing).
Any idea?I've just bought an Apple TV yesterday and what a surprise to find this behavior as well. I use the remote app for everything about the Apple TV but swapping left and right to adjust the volume of the Airplay speakers doesn't work, so I need to use the physical remote only for that. Hope it's a bug that will be corrected. Doesn't make sense.

Hello i am using TimeMachine to back-up entire Mac image (data + system) on an usb-local drive. I would like (on top of it) add a specific plan to back up some files on a remote network drive. Does TimeMachine support multiple back-up plans ? How ?
Time Machine is capable of backing up to multiple locations, and can be used to back up to both a local hard drive and a networked drive (provided that that drive is in or connected to a Time Capsule or another Mac that is sharing it over the network). The catch, though, is that you can't specify different things to back up to different destinations. Whatever you exclude from Time Machine backups is excluded from ALL backups, and whatever is included is included on all.
So, get a large enough drive that you can back up everything you want in all locations, or use something else for maintaining the network backup.

I want to keep a list on my ipod of the books I've read. I would like to enter them on my computer and then sync them with my ipod touch.
Is there an app that I can do that with?There are many note-taking apps available in the iTunes Store that can be synched between a computer and an iPod in one way or another, many from iTunes and some from on-line services such as Dropbox. GoodReader is one I use, but there are many others. Alternatively, if you have a Mac with OS X 10.7 you could use Pages on the computer and iPod and sync with iCloud (some other apps use iCloud for synching as well). Or you can just email a text document to yourself and open that on your iPod.
