Try removing your sim and insert it again and make sure that its clean as well as the sim tray. insert it seucrely locked in place. See if it works, quick fix. If not try to use a different sim or try your sim to a different h/s. For you to be able to isolate if its with your sim or iPhone. Tricky Tips!

Identifying iPod models -
My iphone 5 does not appear to be remembering my home wifi network and connect to it automatically. I have to reconnect manually each time. My other iphone (4s w/iOS6) has no such problems. Any suggestions?
It's not a bug in iOS 6, and it won't be fixed. It's usually caused by your phone having been paired to 2 different networks with the same SSID. So it needs to ask which one you meant. Occasionally be corrupt data in the network settings, which is why Allan suggested Forget This Network.

HT1476 4s does not seem to respond when plugging with USB adapter
I've had my 4s for about 3 months and suddenly yesterday it wouldn't recognize when plugging in the adapter to charge it. I don't think that I'm having a battery issue but more of an issue w/ the sensors recognizing the adapter. Has anyone else had this issue?
Perform a hard reset and see if it fixes the issue.

Simple command line parameter does not seem to work; options?

I asked an earlier question about getting an application (Olyvia) to work as a remote app. Specifically, we were having issues with it not wanting to run for more than one user at a time.
I found that I needed to add the "-m" (multi-user switch) to enable it to run for more than one user at a time. I tested this by logging on to the server by two different people, bringing up a command prompt, and adding the "-m"
to execute line. so, "xvViewer.exe -m" Worked great.
Unfortunately this solution does NOT work when setting the same "-m" option in the command line parameters "Always use the following command line parameters"
I do note that the published app name is Olyvia, but the actual application file is "xvViewer" and is called an "alias." I'm wondering if the parameter is not being passed to the actual executable?
Am I going to have to create a vbscript/powershell/whatever that calls the executable with the correct parameter and publish that script instead?

Generally by passing the command line it must work but if for any specific application you are facing any error then you can try for the script\batch file and then publish as RemoteApp and check the result.

Sony VG-10 - Premiere CS6 does NOT seem to like it
Been working with CS6 for a while now and footage from both a Sony NX5U and an AX2000. Absolutely NO issues whatsoever. But I recently got a VG-10 as I had been doing some stuff with my Canon 7D and LOVE the DLSR look. The VG10 footage is gorgeous but I've run into an issue; Premiere does NOT seem to like the m2ts files from the VG10 (NO ISSUES WITH M2TS FROM OTHER CAMERAS). I can edit it for a little while, maybe half hour, then the timeline starts freezing. To be more accurate, the VIDEO freezes. Sound plays fine but the picture lags. Takes a while to refresh. I thought it might be the computer so I tried it on my other edit suite and got the same thing. The only solution I've found is to convert the VG10 footage to MP4 files and then there's no problems but this is a pain in the ***.
Anyone had this issue and found a better solution than converting all the VG10 footage
BTW the computer are both Win7 64 bit, both have 24GB Corsair memory and GeForce GTX260 video cards.That's a common misconception that one needs to "fix" the clips BEFORE importing to Premiere. Actually does more harm than good for some users.
I rented an AX-2000 a couple weeks ago to shoot 6 dance recitals of 2.5 hours each. To get the clips into the CS6 system, I simply copied the entire contents of each SDHC card to unique folders on my video hard drive, then used MEDIA BROWSER in Premiere CS6 to import. Media Browser simply showed me ONE long clip in the bin and when I moved it to the timeline, again one long seamless clip, no glitches at the "invisible" seams or anything. Nothing could be simpler. Keeps perfect sync with the other camera, which was recorded as ProRes using Ninja 2.
That's the beauty of Media Browser, that it looks at the metadata and knows how to properly handle spanned clips properly behind the scenes, so that you don't have to worry or do extra work. Please try this workflow and see if it fixes the issue.

"This disk does not appear on the desktop"
I have 3 Firewire drives on my iMac. On occasion, instead of the normal orange Firewire disk drive icon, I get a generic icon that looks like a small window with a blue bar at the top. If I run Disk Warrior, it says "This disk does not appear on the desktop". Worse, sometimes the system looses one or more drives completely and has to be restarted. All of the external drives check out good with Disk Warrior. All drives power-down the spindle when inactive for some period of time. Any idea what might be going on?

If the "it" refers to a compressed (zipped) spreadsheet that you downloaded, the ".ods" extension is used by LibreOffice and probably OpenOffice (which are free versions of MS Office) for spreadsheets, which would suggest that wherever you're getting that "Excel" file from has switched to one of those programs. I've tried opening an .ods file from LibreOffice using MS Office 2013 for Windows and it does open though with a warning that some things have been changed. I don't know if Office for Mac can normally open .ods files. But if your need is to just open .ods files, take a look at LibreOffice. -
I have just updated to OS X 10.9 and now find that I can't open Aperture to access photos etc, message reads : You can't use this version of the application "Aperture" with this version of OS X. You have "Aperture" 3.2.3... whichj is not a lot of help, i have limited technical ability and all i need to know is how to get Aperture to work again...help !

I have a comment. I am very upset with Photoshop and all your tutorials regarding the quick select tool. I have watched many tutorials and read instructions until I am blue in the face. Concluding something does not work because you fail at using it is not necessarily always justified.
The Quick Selection Tool certainly has limitations, but your post seems to be more about venting than trouble-shooting – otherwise you might have posted an image where you failed to get an expected result. -
I cannot open files by double clicking ... have looked at forums and no solution yet !!! Control click is the only way i can open files

I had to turn on my wireless mouse... And even though I wasn't using my wireless mouse and just the trackpad...I had to turn on my wireless mouse then adjust those settings...Had to turn down the speed. Then Once I shut the mouse off and started to use the trackpad again it works perfectly.
I'm not sure why the mouse settings would change the trackpad settings but it did.
