HT201272 Music didn't download completely

I downloaded some music but when I want to listen to my purchases not all the songs downloaded completely.  How can I redownload or will I have to purchase these items again?

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

  • TS1424 one of the songs on my album didn't download completely

I have a song that didn't download completely. Do I have to repurchase the song?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one, as per the instructions in the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

  • My audiobook didn't download completely, but itunes thinks it did.

So I just bought and dowloaded Clash of Kings, the second book in the Song of Ice and Fire series. The audiobook is comprised of four parts, with twelve chapters each.  I started listening, and suddenly, about an hour in, the book skipped to the second part, and I lost about eight hours of the story.
Upon further investigation, only the first two chapters show up in the list for the first part of the book. Each of the other parts downloaded fine, and have twelve chapters each. Why did the first part not download completely, and how can I fix it?
In essence, the audiobook did not download completely, though iTunes seems to think it did.
How do I re-download the book without paying for it again?

Contact the iTunes Store Support Team at this link and explain your problem.  You should get an answer from a real person within 24 hours.

  • Music will not download completely!!!! Help please!!

I have purchased music from iTunes and it will not download on my PowerBook or on my Toughbook (WIN XP). The windows version gives me error 403---my Mac just hangs up midway through the first download. I have downloaded hundreds of songs in the past--no problems. (well, occasionally, but a restart or even a retry has helped). This time nothing I do is working. I have cleared the svi cookies, but still nothing. No problem accessing the music store and making purchases--just can't download them. My wife's iBook is working though--it downloads the songs from iTunes no problem. All computers are on the same wireless network--Cox Cable internet. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Now getting error 502--was not getting this before. And BTW---all of the computes mentioned above are using my account with the same CC info. My wife has her own iPod, and uses it exclusively on her computer. I only update my iPod on the Mac, but both my Mac and my PC are doing the same thing--didn't know if this additional helps.....

  • Music did not download completely

I downloaded some tunes yesterday from iTunes, but when I listen to a couple of the songs, they are not complete, the end suddenly.  How do I get the complete songs ?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • HT1725 some of my song didn't download completely

I recently purchased an album from itunes that only played a couple of full tracks and the others played for a couple of seconds.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

  • Just got an iphone 5. My music didn't download from my computer. Everything else did. Why?

I did a restore from my computer for the new iphone 5. It gave me everything but my emails & my music.  How can I get these?

In order to install iTunes 7, you need OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, or newer. You can call the online Apple store, which in the US is at 800-MY-APPLE and order it.
If you want to upgrade to Lion or Mountain Lion, that would be the next step, however, you don't have to in order to use iTunes 7 and your iPhone 5.

  • Songs didn't download completely... ?

The last 30 or so songs that I purchased on iTunes show up in my library as downloaded (with no errors) but when I try to listen to them, they only play for a couple of seconds before moving on to the next song as if they never finished downloading...
    Any ideas for solutions?
    Thanks in advance

If you are in a country where re-downloading is possible (iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), delete the track (and the original file) and download again (Downloading [using iOS or computer] past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).  See tips on downloading in https://discussions.apple.com/message/19097773, especially unchecking the "Allow Simultaneous Downloads" box in the downloads tab of iTunes.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
If you cannot download a second time, contact iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history or,
iTunes Customer Service Contact - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html > Get iTunes support via Express Lane > iTunes > iTunes Store
Incomplete playback seems to be reported several times a day here.  I don't recall this happening before iTunes 10. I would suggest posting feedback to Apple so they aware of an issue.

  • HT201272 I downloaded a new album, but the first three to four songs didn't download the entire song.  How do I fix this??

I downloaded a new album, but he first three to four songs didn't download completely.  Only part of the song is there and then is skips to the next song.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Have you tried deleting the problematic tunes and then re-downloading them from the purchased section within iTunes.

  • Sometimes I find songs I didn't download on my ipod, or songs that I did download are replaced with different music

OK, so I've noticed sometimes when I sync my iPod with iTunes, that sometimes I'll have my iPod on shuffle and I'll end up with either:
    A) Songs that I KNOW I didn't download, for example today there was a song titled "Marvins Room" a la the song by Drake, but what was playing wasn't even remotely close to Marvin's Room, and it had some cheap looking album art on it, that I KNOW I did not download.
    OR
    B) Songs that I DID purchase and/or download and I KNOW were the correct songs when I purchased them, have been replaced with some music I've never heard of before, for example I had "New Moon" by Brandy and one day it played something else entirely, but still had all the original song info. This has happened on more than one occasion and with different songs, and I've had to go delete the song and re-purchase and/or DL it.
Also, sometimes some of the music on iTunes isn't correct. Like recently, the availabe version of Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" is less than 2 minutes long, so you don't even get the whole song although you pay for a whole song. Or, some music is completely incorrect (see B above).
Anybody else run into these issues, and/or have any clue why this happens and how best to prevent it? Please and thanks in advance.
