I HAVE BEEN USING AN IPHONE 4 AND I JUST TRANSFERRED ALL MY DATA TO A NEW IPHONES.
IN THE OLD IPHONE I HAD 2 YAHOO AVVOUNTS RECEIVING MAILS.
IN THE NEW IPHONE I CANNOT REGISTER MY SECOND YAHOO ADDRESS ,I KEEP RECEIVING THE MESSAGE THAT YAHOO SERVER CANNOT BE FOUND.
CAN ANYBODY HELP?
The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. This is suing EXPEDIA and Tripadviosr.com

I did the last update, there was a 'catastrophic failure' i had to restore my iPhone and now have lost all my apps, how do i get them back? Any ideas?

ClareAll of your apps should be in iTunes on the computer, simply sync them back.
If they are not, go into the purchase history and download them again. -
Updated to ios 5 and itunes 10.5 for my iphone and now i lost all apps and songs that i had downloaded in the past. how do i get everything back?
in order to restore your songs and apps, you should just reconnect to itunes and sync your data. your phone ran a backup before it upgraded, and you can also do a restore. but the key is still to go to your itunes and sync back to your phone what you wanted there in the first place.

I recently updated my iPhone to iOS5 and it worked o.k. Then I updated my wife's iPhone and it loaded all my data (pictures, phone numbers, etc.) to her phone. All her data is gone. Is there a way that we can re-load her data?
If there is a backup somewhere that had her data you can restore that backup. Otherwise, all her data has been overwritten by yours.

During Update there was an "error 45" and i have lost all my data??
I was having difficulties in updating my iphone to 4.3.3. I have switched the antivirus and firewall off and it worked with 1st iphone but the second one it started the update process but then when iPhone was in secure mode or whatever it's (when all your data is wiped up and the itune software syncing all data back in to iphone). The little window appeared saying " the iphone could not be updated the eror 45 has occured". I have restored it but i didnt have all my data?? although before update i did take a back up? i dont know whats going on? please help....
I am only asking cause I had the same issue, I was updating my iTunes and then it suggested that i do a back up, while I was doing the back up it just hung there and my phone got shut, i tried to open my phone it starts clean and takes me back to the start up screens i saw when i first used my iPhone

I think you wanted to say App Store. Mac App Store is only available in Macs, not on an iPad.
She probably enabled restrictions. Open Settings > General > Restrictions, and disable them by using the password she set. If she doesn't remember it, you have to restore your device to default settings in Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, losing everything stored in the device -
My iphone 6 turned off while i was using face time and it returns with the screen saying Hello mean its reset automatically how is this possible ? Now it requires an id and password to activate which i do not remember need help ? but i do remember the id and password which i was using on itunes and Apple store. please i almoost buy it in 890$ so it will be a big lost please help me.

Okay ... you might be able to get back some of your past purchases if your country's iTunes Store supports redownloading past purchases. See the following document for instructions:

... but if you didn't maintain a back-up, then other content (songs that you'd ripped yourself from CDs and so forth) is gone, and you'd have to reimport it. -
I have an iPhone 4 thats i was trying to fix and now it will not turn on at all is there anyway that i can access my pictures and contacts from my new phone or pc? Aslo the are both on the same apple id but i dont know if that would help or not.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -

I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! Six hours of searching through the Windows catagories. I checked the results on an internet site, and viola! It was gone! Mozilla Firefox seems to remember the usernames and passwords irregardless of the option window that asks if you if want it to remember the user and password. I finally got in touch with my friend and he said he did not answer yes to the window, even though he was aware of it. No damage. I surely do appreciate everyones' concern in this, now what seems to be, a very simple solution. Cudos to Firefox! Thank-you! P.S. I now have to enter my information at the beginning of any password protected sites...no harm done! My friend is now condemned to the 'user account' site! lol...

I tried to restore my iPhone 4s through iTunes and received error message that Restore could not be completed due to error 2003. Phone now not recognized in iTunes, with repeated prompts to restore phone. Now phone w/screen with iTunes symbol and USB cord can't use. It appears the phone has been restored, but I cannot activate it.
I disabled my anti-software, iTunes and computer software (microsoft vista) are both up to date, I restarted the computer several times. My usb ports are working properly. I followed the troubleshooting suggestions from apple.yes did you buy it of somebody or a well known company such as apple or carphone warehouse?
and i mean the phone would have been activated in the first place with the sim card you get given when you first get the phone.
trying to activate the phone with another sim card that you did not get when you brought the phone may result in you not being able to activate it

I'm asuming you are using iTunes then to sync? this can be done over WiFi or the USB cable.
Review your setting for the calendar sync once iTunes is open and your iPhone is connected. Make sure your Calendars are selected to sync that you need. By default all calendars will.
So the option i have for you is to reset the sync service and this will reset those settings in iTunes. Meaning that you will have to switch them on again in iTunes to sync. But this mostly clears unresolved sync issues.
Please do yourself a favour and hit backup in iTunes before doing any testing. iTunes will then keep a local backup of your iPhone in case of any data loss.

open Terminal from your Utilities folder and paste this command in to reset. OS X 10.6 - 10.8
/System/Library/Frameworks/SyncServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources/resetsync .pl full [press Enter]
if it prompts for a password, just type your password and hit [Enter] again.
Open iTunes then set your syncs up and it should then carry on again.
