It is for anything running (if I remember correctly) iOS7 or iOS8 or later. You could conceivably buy a really old iPad that is incapable of upgrading that far (and probably not so deirable an item for you unless you're into old technology) and could be reset using a full restore. That's why they introduced this new feature.

Yes, that means you cannot use the phone without the previous owner removing their AppleID.
The IMEI and ICCID are useless to you. Only the AppleID password of the previous owner would help. -
My remembered and retained history was going back quite a few months. Following update of Firefox to 23.0.1 I lost all my history and Firefox only retains websites visited after the new version was installed. My bookmarks have been retained. I tried Recover in "Import and backup" but it only goes back to the date of the new installation. I tried places.sqlite in "Roaming" but there is only one with today's date. Is there a way to recover the lost history? Why did Firefox lose it? Will it happen averytime Firefox updates?
Backup your bookmarks manually. If you have been using the "import" you may have already lost some information by overwriting it. As a matter of course you should always save current bookmarks manually before using any restores.

That way you can ensure you are able to restore the complete current set. Put your .json backup file somewhere safe outside Firefox program or profile paths. The Windows Desktop or removable media would be suitable.
Firefox does create some autobackups of bookmarks but does not do anything about backing up the History. Luckily Windows probably backs up previous versions of your file ''places.sqlite'' and that is the database with History and bookmarks in it. See if you can recover a recent version of that, it will restore your history up to the date of the restored file.

My company issues iPads to certain staff for their line of work. If the previous end-user passed away suddenly and did not leave their iCloud password word with anyone, how then can the device be wiped. Currently we cannot turn off the iCloud, change the user, update the iOS, nor update our apps. Can the local Apple Store assist in some way?
I think Winston hit the nail. I imagine the issue is you allowed the person to set up personal and private accounts on the device, not corporate controlled accounts. As such, regardless of your ownership of the device, Apple will not release or change personal or private account-related information to you.
Whether they would or not to a direct family member, I do not know, but I highly doubt they will (or legally can) do so to you as the employer for a personal account.
I know such instances have come up in the past with things like company phones and such, both involving Apple as well as other companies. The reported results in news articles were always that private information is private, and if companies want access or control, then they need to restrict employees use to only corporate provided accounts and services. -

With the updates came iTunes 11.1.1 and Quicktime 7.6.6. I am still using Garageband 2008 and iPhoto 2008. When I create music in Garageband I usually adjust the volume and save it. Even now when I share the Garageband created files with iTunes 11.1.1, the volime I previously set in Garageband is retained. However, when I use the music to create a slide show in iPhoto 2008 and export to Quicktime 7.6.6, the volume level I previously set is lost and seems to default to a low level. The problem seems to be either in the slide show export from iPhoto 2008 to Quicktime 7.6.6 or in Quicktime itself. Is there a work around, so that I can retain the volume level I had previously set in Garageband, a volume level that seems to transfer without problem to the new iTunes. But then iPhoto 2008 (slide show) possibly or Quicktime 7.6.6 do not cooperate. I'd start off your troubleshooting process by deleting and redownloading the songs:
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
Download your previously purchased song from this list.

The only way to get passed that and to use that iPhone is to ask the previous owner to remove it from icloud.com in the Find my iPhone section.

Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps to remove the device from their account:
Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Click All Devices to open a list of devices linked to their account, then select the device to be removed.
Click the Erase button to erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, don't enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device is erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.

Sorry the answer to my previous question did not help....when trying to get new app installed on iPad message tells me I do not have acc or its been disabled. Is this because of joint usage of email as my partner has account with iTunes using same email?
Whatever the reasons are that you think the problem exists, you will not be able to resolve it on your own. Did you see this at the bottom of the support article that I suggested that you read?

But it does not correct the colors in effects. And checking or unchecking Make Movie/Output Module Settings/Color Management/Profile/Preserve RGB does not make any difference.

Those parts of the video image that does not have color effects are just fine. In these parts the color is preserved when reimporting to FCP. However, those parts having color effects (except Levels, as decribed earlier) have altered color results. So, only the parts having effects affecting color are misinterpreted in the image area. The mismatch is of course seen in AE, before making the movie.
What I ment with "Color Management not working properly" is that (instead of "disabling" it) Color Management does not seem to be able to correct this "misinterpretation" or difference in effect handling between AE 6 and 10.
So, would you have any solution for this problem?

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.
