Cancel the downloads and reset the iPad (Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts off. Ignor the off slider. Then turn the iPad back on). Go back to the Purchased screen in the I.tunes app and redownload. You may want to down load one at a time.

When you rent a film in the iTunes store on your Mac's iTunes then it should automatically download, and it should go into the Movies part of your library - when you have rentals you should get a Rentals tab in Movies

Put it into DFU mode - hold the sleep/wake button and home button until the screen goes black (ignoring the slide to turn off slider). When the screen goes black release the sleep/wake button but hold the home button. Continue holding the home button for 10 seconds, then release it. The screen should stay black. Plug it into iTunes and it should come up with this message "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. It must be restored before use", that's when it is successfully in DFU mode. Now press the restore button in iTunes and it should run smoothly :)

You have to remember that sometimes an entire thread can be wrong. Perhaps the people posting about Podcast problems are wrong. Certainly, there is one thread that has been going on for some time, but the people with the problem seem reluctant to try any suggestions put forward to them, especially if the suggestion includes the thought that Apple may not be the cause of the problem. I use Podcasts all the time and rarely have any problems.
Apple (by the way) is not the cause of every single known problem in the universe!
That said, if you have a problem with Podcasts, why not tell us here and we'll see if anyone can help you?

Rented movie on Apple TV last night can't view this AM?

We rented a movie last night & can't view it this AM w/o renting it again??? I thought you have 24 hr. access to a rented movie. Any thoughts? This also happened to us 2 months ago which was the last time we rented a movie.

The download time most likely reflects a slowish internet connection.
YouTube content is often compressed to high heaven and doesn't need much bandwidth.
AppleTV HD rentals are large and fixed size - around 3-4GB per movie. SD are around 1-1.5GB.
AppleTv basically starts downloading a movie, and calculates how long it will take for enough to download to allow you to watch the film uninterrupted whilst the remainder downloads as you watch. You need 6 Mbps or so for near instant HD downloads. I'd guess you're getting 2-3 Mbps. On my slow 4Mbps connection it takes 40 mins or so for HD film to start. If you change the Settings in AppleTV for the store you can make it only offer SD films which will start much more quickly for you.
Beware of using AppleTV for othet tasks while a movie is downloading as this can wipe the downloaded portion forcing it to restart the download from scratch.

Did you download it completely before you try to play it?
How much space left in your HD?
What about other TV shows? Try to download another one (pick one from the free section).
If other played just fine and your last download still won't play smoothly, you can contact iTunes costumer service to adjust your credit back.

You can sync/manually mange iphone with one and only one computer. If you sync/manually mange to anther, then it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.

I bought a movie on my iPad, and I can't watch it.

I bought a movie on my iPad. It said it was fully downloaded. When I went to watch it, the play button was replaced with a stop button (on the page that shows a picture and the director and description). Why can't I watch it? It's the newest Mission Impossible movie. If I can't watch it, I want my money back.

Try quitting the videos app and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work, try starting the Videos app from the search feature and see if that helps.
Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of your movies in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.
If that is unsuccessful try resetting the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
