HT204053 when I updates , I see: Your Apple ID has been disabled
My Iphone when update or download is: Your Apple ID has been Disabled
Yes, I have a question!
I can download new apps from the app store on my iPhone 5. When I try to update existing apps, I receive an error message with no other information -- Your Apple ID has been disabled.
This occurred when I was updating apps shortly after upgrading to iOS 7. Half of my 8 apps updated successfully and then I got this error. Since then, the update process is stuck, for lack of a better term. The same apps update on other devices (iPad) under the same account.
Why are so many people getting this message? Why can I log into every other Apple ID account interface successfully, reset my phone, and reset my Apple ID passwords but still not update apps on this single device? Why does this article everyone points to not help?
This is the support page that does not help.

Is there a page that is more likely to help?
Thank you in advance for your helpful thoughts.

When i try to purchase or update it says "Your Apple ID has been disabled." I have contacted Apple 3 times and they told me to change my password each time and i told them i tried that, but it didn't work. They said they would try to fix it and they never contacted me after that. I have an ipod touch 2nd generation.
What did itunes support tell you?
If you did everything it says then you contacted them.
From the article you linked:
If the issue persists, you can visit iCloud Support, iTunes Support, Apple Print Products, or contact AppleCare for further assistance." -

"your apple id has been disabled. ok"
I need to know how to get past this window in my updates screen for updating the apps.Going to need to get in contact with the iTunes store team; if it doesn't mention for security reasons it's something apple has to talk to you about.

TS2755 Can't. Update store apps, 'your Apple ID has been disable'
Can't figure out why this is not working. Have created new apple I'd. Are apps keyed to same apple I'd that was used to downloaded them?
Yes, all content from the store will remain tied to the account that downloaded them, so only that account will be able to re-download or update its apps
You might be able to re-enable the old account via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
And you may then need to log out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -

TS1368 When trying to update my apps I get a message, Your Apple ID has been disabled.
I get a message when trying to update my apps on my I phone. "your apple ID has been disabled". What can I do to fix this?
Depending on why it's been disabled, you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If your account then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone then try logging out of the account on the phone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it. -

I changed my apple id because my email has changed. I've updated everything I can think of on my iPhone. I've logged out and back in and I still get a " your apple id has been disabled" message every time I try to update my apps. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure there's an easy solution but I've tried all the tutorials on apple.com and nothing works. Can anyone help?
When you say you have changed your Apple ID, how did you change it? Did you maintain your existing Apple ID via Manage your Apple ID and EDIT it to a new email address, or did you set up a brand new Apple ID?
Cheers,

iTunes is updated and works fine and I am able to log onto my account. When I go to purchase a song, I get the error message "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.
We all love their products, but they always come with a lot of issues and horrible customer support.
My apple Id is [email protected]My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is. I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. Here is the link to learn how to disable "in app purchase" on your iphone or ipad.
