Okay, now we are getting somewhere. With a Core2Duo you can upgrade to at least Snow Leopard, and you will need Snow Leopard at least if you want to upgrade further.
1) Make sure your computer meets Snow Leopard technical specifications - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575 This mostly means making sure it is an Intel Mac (yours is) and has at least 1GB RAM (more is recommended). To check RAM, go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Now continue to "More Info...". It should say you have at least 1GB of "memory".
2) Apple no longer carries 10.6 in its stores or online. Telephone Apple to purchase a Snow Leopard disc. In the USA: (800) 676-2775 (contact information for other countries: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57)
Alternatively you can buy from online retailers but anticipate paying much more than the original price which is the price still charged by Apple
3) Backing up your computer before upgrading is always a good idea.
4) After installing from the DVD, update your Snow Leopard installation using Software Update or manually downloading and installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v.1.1 - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399

please helpThis is not a QuickTime issue so this was not the best forum in which to take up this question, but if you have only Mac OS X 10.4.x on your computer, you cannot install any version of iTunes later than 9.2.1, which you can download here:

Note that you will need to have updated your iMac to Mac OS X 10.4.11.
If you need a newer version of iTunes, you will need to upgrade your system to at least Mac OS X 10.5.8 which would allow you to install iTunes 10.6.3. If you have a new iPhone 5 or iPad that requires iTunes 10.7, you will need Mac OS X 10.6. Neither Mac OS X 10.5 nor 10.6 are a free upgrade.

I am nearly out of iCloud storage but I have over 3 gb on my iPad. I just bought a game that requires 1.5 gb but will not download to my iPad because it says that there's not enough storage in the cloud. Why can't I just download the game to my iPad?
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. This is the second time I have had a problem with my account. I am extremely frustrated with it. A while ago I was not able to purchase anything including free apps. At that time I had an outstanding balance. Which had been from using a visa card on my account. I was then told to purchase iTunes cards which would be able to pay it. It then automatically took of the money for the balance that it needed. So I thought okay problem solved. Then for about a month or two I was able to buy music and apps. Now on April 8th, 2012 I am not able to buy anything again after I put a 15 dollar iTunes card on it. It is saying that my account had been opened on another device/ computer. But I use my computer for my account too.

I currently have QuickTime Plug-In 7.6.3 and been asked to update the latest version of QuickTime from the Apple Website. I tried to manually load QuickTime Plug-In 7.6.6 to Firefox and it wouldn't let me do this. A .window came up on my MAC and told me that I had QuickTime X on my hard drive. I currently have a MacBook Pro and it has the Snow Leopard Operating System
If you're running the latest version of Snow Leopard (10.6.4 as of today), you are fine. This is a FF bug.
To be certain, double-click on your hard drive icon and go to the following folder: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Do a "Get Info" on the "Quicktime Plugin" and see what version is stated. Most likely, it's version 7.6.6, in which case you have the latest version.
I spent the past 10 mins trying to figure out how to report this, but I gave up. Hopefully, other people having this problem find this discussion and don't waste their time trying to fix something that isn't broken.
Edit: OK, just found Bugzilla in the "Community" section for reporting bugs. Makes no sense to me that there isn't a link in the "Support" section for this, but that's just me, I guess. -
When I open Facebook and a few other webpages the screen size is large and some of the info will not appear. I have tried everything to reset the size and it does not work. I have even zoomed out and the missing info still does not appear. But if I log into IE it is just fine and all the info is there and is useable. I hate IE and do not want to use it so please help me fix this issue with Firefox.
CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.

You can't erase or delete iCloud accounts, you can only stop using them. If the previous owner already created the maximum number of iCloud accounts on your phone, all you can do is either re-use one of the accounts previously created, or create a new account to use on another iOS device or Mac (running OS X 10.7.2 or later), if you have one.
