On September 24, I got a message from the App Store saying there was an update of the Operating System on my MacBookPro laptop - OS X 10.9.5 - once I updated it, I got a message saying that there was an error in the update and that it did not install properly and that I should re-install the update. You can manually download the Combo update if in doubt of the integrity of the OS 10.9.5
install on top of what you have, backups are always a good idea.

Apple Mail cannot find replies or forwarded emails -- the little arrows on the left of the list of emails: "Mail was unable to find your reply to the message '[subject of message]'. You may have deleted the message." I did not delete the message. Bug in the program, or am I missing something?
Of course they're in my Sent folder. Then why can't Apple Mail find them?

A few weeks ago an itunes upgrade did not install properly on my PC so I had to uninstall itunes and everything associated with it. I was able to reinstall itunes and it works fine including syncing with my ipod. However, now whenever I open my email (outlook) a box pops up stating MobileMe Services has stooped working. This happens a couple of times after I click to close the program. This a nusance and really slows down getting to my email. From what I've found MobileMe was something that used to be used by itunes to sync mobile devices but is no longer used by itunes. I can't find a way to remove this MobileMe from my PC. I've tried going into Contol Panel then Programs and Features to uninstall it but there is no button there to uninstall it. Any suggestions on how this can be removed?
Do you have a backup that you can restore from? Your old hard drive seems to be the problem.

Restore the backup of the old iPad to the new one. That should transfer camera roll photos. If it didn't and you still have the old iPad, back it up to your computer using iTunes and restore that backup to the new iPad.

No I did not make a copy of my address book.
Some information was moved over, many did not.
I do not see a pattern.
I think all the info is still on the hard drive, I just don't know how to recover it. -

When I upgraded iTunes to the latest version, it did not install proberly. I have empted all of the temp folder I can find, uninstalled iTunes, and restarted my PC. How can I get iTunes to load properly?

FCPX crashed and did not autosave. How do I recover my project?
Please help me, I lost my project when final cut crashed and it did not recover.
Which version of FCPX are you on? Were you able to redeem the 5.32 pm version and get it going in FCPX at least? I guess the intermediate versions are lost, unless, if you happen to have the latest 10th upgrade, you have manually made 'snapshot' versions of your projects at critical moments.

Photos in trash can not be viewed. I have rebuilt the library but that did not help.
I need to retrieve a photo that went into Aperture trash, but no images appear in trash, though it says it has 13 versions filed there. I rebuilt the library as per trouble shooting instructions, but still no go. The rest of Apperture seems to be working fine. Any suggestions?
Have you any filters set? Check the search fields. They should be showing "Show all" or "All items".
If you are seeing "Unrated or better", rejected images will not be shown. -
Last night I shut down while in a subfolder. Today TB starts in that subfolder and I can't get back to the inbox.
I know that my inbox still exists since it appears for about 1/3 second on startup, then the subfolder appears. Also, using a search, I can find a message received yesterday.
I couldn't find a solution in the Mozilla help files or even googling the problem. I'm sure the fix is obvious and I'll probably feel stupid when I learn the answer!Please a screen shot so I know what your seeing. I have just upgraded from MAVERICKS to YOSEMITE OS 10.10. I have 4GB of memory.
Since upgrading my ageing EPSON CX3600 will no longer print. I get the error message ;COMMUNICATION ERROR.
Apple support gave me advice which hasn't worked including deleting the printer via system preferences and rhen restoring it after rebooting the system
