Can't get EarPods remote and mic to work with my iPad 3. Anyone else having this problem and, if so, how did they fix it?
I am trying to get my USB headphone and mic to work with Skype but I'm not having any success. I have tried several different headphones with the same result.
What are the system requirements of your headphones & mics? It's possible they are not compatible w/Macs and/or your current OS system.

Try a reset ( Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until Apple logo appears). Worked on my phone for other sounds like text and mail being extremely low. Might work for you and is quick and easy and you wont loose any of your data. Good luck!

I have an Iphone 5 and only a certain part of my lock button works (The back left portion) is anyone else having this problem?
im having the same problem. but its not justyou and me, its all over!!!!! My friends lock button got stuck 2 weeks after she got her iphone 5, but since its a manufacturing problem, if you go to your carrier store (verizon,ATNT,Sprint etc) and tell them whats happening, theyy have to give you another one

last month I begin having problem connecting to the itune store.from my PC, Have had apple support help but that did no good. Itune will not connect. Tried everything from the troubleshooter page but it did not help. It have been 4 month now. Anyone else have any ideals?

Outgoing pop mail is very slow - at times 10 - 20 minutes and more, even on messges with no attachments. This has happened since my upgrade to Lion. My DSL line tests out ok, but Apple says it must be a slow line. Any one else have problems?
POP is only used for incoming mail. Some POP servers are the same as SMTP servers.
Check to make sure your internet service provider can either give you an SMTP server, or that you are using password authentication to get to an outside line with the proper port. Outside SMTP servers are often on one of the ports 587, 2626, 2662, and often use your full e-mail address for username authentication. -

Recently installed Amazon Uploader and Downloader, and downloaded MP3s from Amazon. My personal computer is connected via Internet to a corporate network; (corporate) SOPHOS and Malwarebytes Pro for virus protection. Recent scans show no infections. I cleared history, cookies, etc. Running Windows 7 and current version of Firefox. Not having problem on IE 8, or with any other apps. Have not installed any other applications, but did install a JAVA update yesterday. Did not help the problem.

Well i shouldnt say that, all anyone said was to read the java api's.... When all i needed was to learn how to make the link to process input to a database by a servlet.
Anyway thats why i posted this here, in case anyone needs help on the same issue as i did.
And i dont make jsp's by hand.

I just purchased an ibook for my mac for the first time and it started with two pages then switched to one with notes and i can't change it back. Anyone else having this problem?
Up the top where the three buttons are (red yellow green) are three images. Click on the third image that looks like a notepad (not the first which is a library book), and that should get rid of 'Notes'. To read using two pages make the window bigger.

Since ios 7 I can no longer use google translate in safari. I use this page every day to translate friends Facebook entries. Anyone else having this problem? And is there a fix? Currently it is in my bookmark bar beside Facebook and worked fine until I upgraded top ios 7 a few days ago.
Go to your Google translate bookmark.
Type in a word then tap whatever language.
Make a select for the language to be translated to by tapping Dutch (or whatever language you see in the box all the way to the right. You should see a language menu. -
Since the latest up-date I can't see any movies. It always returns to the main menu. Is anyone else having this problem and how do I fix it? We have gone 3 days without the use of renting movies.

First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings). You should also try restarting your router.
If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).
