I purchased a new computer, and downloaded I tunes and my music to my account. I previously used a gift card which shows i have credit. I went to buy a song and when i entered the email address and password it says that it is wrong. it directs me to make a new password, for which was do not want to do so because after an hour on the phone with apple support, i got it straight where i have one password for my apple id. the reference number for that issue is 425431646. I don't want to mess up by changing my password and not being able to connect via my apple accounts on my i pod, or computer.

You cannot change your iTunes country unless you are really moving to another country, nor can you change country association for a gift card. Give it as a gift to a friend who lives in the country of origin for the card.

The only way to get rid of those little leftover balances is to make a request to iTunes Customer Service:

The gift would be sent via email to the address you gave when you set up the gift. Have you checked that email account? If so and nothing has appeared, make sure there aren't any anti-spam filters in place that might be blocking emails from Apple. Then if you still don't see the email, try resending the gift:

Having a credit balance won't prevent you from entering in a new payment method. A balance remaining would be an issue only if you're trying to change the country of your iTunes Store account. You can go to icloud.com, open Mail, click on the gear shaped icon on the upper right and choose preferences, go to the Vacation tab and set up an auto response saying that the account is no longer in use. Then go to Settings>iCloud and turn Mail to Off on your device and stop using the account.
Incoming email to the account will receive your vacation auto response, and eventually the mailbox will fill up and no longer receive mail at all. -

Redeemed Gift Card But Credit Balance Not Correct

I redeemed two 50 USD Itunes Gift card in my account however while redeeming each, 25 USD redeemed and it got 25 USD as credited. So totaly It redeemed 50 USD and got 50 USD as credited. I never face such a kind of thing however I can not use also this credited amount. Anyone has an idea how I can get back my credited 50 USD from Itunes?Try signing out then back in to refresh your account. If this will not work, contact support and have them check your account.
