I have itunes on my desktop. I would like to download some audiobooks on to my nano pad. I have done it before. In looking it over in Itunes I seem to have forgot how to do it. Please provide me the sequence of directions to complete the process. Thank you. don

did you use your sons Apple ID..? If so... those items are tied to that Apple ID.
If your issue is with the Authorization of your New Mac...
On your Computer... Open iTunes...
If you're using iTunes 11 click on the box icon in the top-left corner to see the " Show Menu Bar "
and from the Menu Bar select Store...
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer.
When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize.

Thanks Kurt! I had tried all that and had tried closing both programmes from the application monitor, but SyncServices Agent refused to close. I tried closing Launchd which is their mother application, but that just caused the screen go go blank. In the end the two programmes let themselves be closed next time I tried the installation process so all was well. Thanks for your help!

Settings >> Mail, Contacts. Calendars >> Organise by Thread. Switch to OFF to see every individual email in the Inbox.

You'll need to update to at least ACR 8.2 for the 70D to be recognized. The normal way to update PSE12 to the latest CR is to use Help / Updates in the Editor which should update to ACR 8.5.
According to Adobe's website PSE12 shipped with ACR 8.1 and you say it says yours is reported as ACR 8.0.
Are you using PSE 11 and not 12? PSE 11's maximum ACR version is 8.0.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

I have created video with music and pictures. I have exported it. But all that shows is the music no pictures. I have done this before and it worked ok. Am I missing something?

I have created a video with pictures and music. When i export it, it goes into a MP4 video. which I have done before and it worked ok. Now the only thing on the MP4 video is music but not my pictures.
I am very new to this and have taught myself everything so far. I have no technical understanding. So please make any answers as basic as you can.

How do I know if this update is appropriate for Windows Vista? I have done updates before, only to discover that they did not work well with Vista.

I keep getting a message that I need to update to firefox version 7. I can't find any information to help me know if this version is compatible with Vista. I did an "automatic" update in the past, and needed to uninstall it because it did not work well with Vista. firefox is not giving me any info regarding this - it just says install it.

I have to restore my ipod, becuase i updated it. I have done this before and i didnt have to restore it i did some steps and it worked, i just can't remember the steps. It's in recovery mode right now and saying the other way is to restore it.

I want to burn photos to a dvd disc. I have done this before. Error message coming up. There is enough room on disc.

I am trying to burn photos from my library to free up space on my mac. I am down to 13 gb. Every time I burn a dvd with a couple of hundred pics it comes up "burn failed" optic drive. I have burned in the past. What is the problem?

Sounds like your phone was hacked to unlock. Restoring the phone put it back to Apple specs for that phone. You will need to find out which carrier it is locked to and see if you qualify for unlocking.

HT1212 tried to restore my ipod that has been disabled and I can not get it to go into DFU mode I have tried a million times and it will not allow me to. I have done this before to restore other devices am I am not new to this process. please HELP?
